Let's put it like this. Wrath of Cortex is like an expansion pack for Crash 3, with the good parts made not as good, and the bad parts made even worse. And Crash 3 is the WORST game in the trilogy. You can figure out the quality you can expect from these games.

I feel you but you gotta remember this isn't a PERFECT 1 to 1 remake of the original games. It's like the Super Mario All-Stars of Crash. Get used to it and it'll be easy.
What glitches? The only "glitch" in this game is walking on the ropes but you could do that in the original AND it's actually harder to pull off in the remake.

You don't even need to do "multiple pixel perfect jumps in a row". When bouncing on the turtles you have 2 options: keep going an preserve momentum making the jumps easy (but you need to do it all in one fluid motion) OR take your time and wait between turtles, which because of the lack of momentum requires pixel perfect jumps. I've seen casual as fuck normie Lets Players get through High Road stopping and bouncing on every turtle. It's not that difficult.
And this only applies to a single level anyway, the rest of the game is easier than it used to be. The only problem (outside of stylistic graphic/music changes) in the trilogy is the hitboxes for landing on top of certain enemies. They are much smaller than they used to be.
I feel pretty casual compared to a good chunk of Sup Forums so when a shitter like me can plat Crash 3, probably plat Crash 2 tonight, and can probably get through 1's relics with enough effort then maybe it is time to actually git gud. Yeah, the jumping is tighter than it used to be. So what?

Seriously, it's fucking nothing. In any game with proper hitboxes if you keep jumping in a ledge you'll fall down. The jump being quicker simply speeds things up a bit which is even good for time trials. Nowhere on the box does it say "Plays 100% like the original!".

Wind Waker is easily my least favorite of the 3D Zeldas but HD is better simply due to the enhanced sailing game on its own. Any other improvement/detriment pales in comparison to that truth.

The N. Sane Trilogy is the least necessary remake in the history of games. The original games still play great with bright colorful graphics and fun platforming, I played them for the first time a few weeks ago and had a blast; it didn't NEED a remaster. The colors in N. Sane are ugly as shit, Crash and half the enemies are ruined by dumb looking eyes and fucking Voldo SCV/ Conker L&R bumblebee fur technology, and they didn't even bump it up to 60 FPS.

Crash 1 honestly benefitted a lot from this remake. Having a proper save system like 2 and 3 and having analog controls are really nice though. Those are some things it has over the original.

I had no idea what WoC even looked like until 2 or 3 days ago. I dropped Crash at CTR until this remake. Maybe it's because it's an early 6th gen title but man, that game looks rough visually, almost like one of those bad, like a VeggieTales cartoon or some shit. Looks like it plays like a shittier Warped but even the PS1 titles looked better, shit.

Subjectively I think it's better simply because it's faster, I like my platforms quick. Objectively probably worse because of the hitboxes, while they are better designed, they can make some jumps harder and frustrating.

The jump decay is faster therefore you have the impression the game is faster. This is called broken physics
I was a kid who didn't even know the game wasn't made by the same guys and I felt the game was terrible compared to the others while playing. It was the last Crash game I played.
Actually this rerelease makes sense, Activision has been sitting on Crash for a while and this is a good way to gauge interest in whether they should try to bring back his series after being dead for so long thanks to Universal or just slap him in Skylanders and call it a day
And it worked well in their favor, the game's really popular and sold a lot of copies
