One of them came to my village with his adventurers friends. They asked me if they could get some silver coins for their imperial gold coins. I told them to fuck off and tried to kill them right after. Bastards killed dozens of people and Weaponthanes before i got the chance to kill that fucking duck. Couldn't loot his body though since they ran away with it...

I have seen this game a lot and the only thing that prevents me from playing, is there a time limit or something? I see that theres dates that progress forward but I don't know if theres a hard cap on how long you can play a certain save.

Depends if you're playing the short or long game. IIRC the short game doesn't have a time limit, just requires you to form a tribe and remain its king for 10 years. The long game is possible to lose if you wait too long and another tribe fulfills the win condition instead, but that requires you to actively ignore all the end-game events and pretty much only happens if you outright decide that you don't want to win the game, it's near impossible to fuck up.

No, you can choose to play for a limit of 10 years or as long as you want. The "only" difficulty is to become a true king and show the world you're here to stay

I always liked that we're able to tell our ancestor to fuck off when they show up. Especially over petty shit like not understanding a ring-member's sayings.

For me, it was the first time i met the duck people. Since my clan hate beastmen, i had a lot of fun threatening them and taking their food.

Iirc they actually added some events in the android version compared to the original. I don't know if those are in the steam version as well. It is a pretty much perfect port. Clicking a mouse or tapping the screen don't make a difference.

I'm glad we're even getting something. There isn't much obscure, niche games like KoDP getting a sequel nowadays. And it's not even kickstarted, so it has a chance to be good.

where should i buy this game?

The steam version is alright. It has the new scenes and new UI. I think they removed the option the assign more hunters, but seriously it's a minor thing you never need to mess with. If you really want the original deal I think the GOG version is the one from 1999.

Have fun! Remember not to bully the ducks to much, raiding your neighbors is customary and don't go to Skyfall Lake unless you want to lose your explorers.

10 bucks says the new powertripping mods will just lock this thread too.
