I bought mirrors edge catalyst and mankind divided last night on Amazon, been wanting these games for awhile. Loved the first mirrors edge and love most of the dues ex games.

Deus Ex Mankind Divided's PC port was such a fucking disappointment. The rest of the game is fine except the ending which hurts knowing Square Enix won't bother with a sequel.

Mankind Divided was alright but it played like an unnecessary expansion of HR, which made me wonder why they went through all that trouble to produce a buggy new engine while much of the gameplay stayed the same
Shame about the story, feels like they set up the world after they had already made it. It never feels like theres a resource crisis or that there is a creepy religious cult country right next to the city thats hermetically sealed off from everyone. The lore doesnt make sense/doesnt affect the world and its sad because it's pretty neat.

I'll get accused of trolling but I really don't care.
This game isn't nearly as bad as \v\ makes it out to be. The flaws still stand though, I understand the B team made this but holy shit those facial and movement animations are straight up garbage.
That being said, I enjoyed the story very much, as in the retrospect of it starts off a trilogy very well, solid beginning. Personally I enjoyed the kett and how they basically assimilate other species to serve them. The archon needed work, to much of the cliche "I bring doom" but their overall government ideas you hear about were good
Combat was fucking solid, powers felt good as well as weapons and movement. Although switching classes seemed pointless, I rarely went out of the infiltrator class. Good feature though for people who used it
All in all, I cared about story and combat\movement\powers more than fucked facial animations. I enjoyed what they were really trying to give me, not non game breaking bugs

Mirror's Edge Catalyst was great, though. One of the best games in recent years that does open world right.
