What is Sup Forums's DPI setting?
Everywhere I'm seeing people playing at like 800 dpi and less, yet here I am at 2500 dpi, which is supposeldy weird as fuck.
Am I an ayylium?

nah youre just a shitter
It's your mouse sensitivity that matters. dpi is just for precision and beyond a certain point it stops making a difference.
If your cm/360 is below 15 you're probably a shitter
>Dick Penis Insertion
I got an M65 Pro for $48
Did I do good lads?
Do the challenge and post the results.
Do I just need to hit the orange circles popping up or what?
400 dpi and I set my in-game settings so I can do a complete 360 with slightly less area than my mouse pad size. I don't like going edge to edge.
Yes, and the time is usually the most important stat. Everything under 30 is utter shit tier.
Ok I'm gonna do this shit. I'm trying different dpi settings. Post your results.
First try, probably can do better in a few.
First try, 800 dpi, Starcraft player, not very good at this.
2000 dpi+raw input if available
>Make Contact
>1:08
Fucking impossible.
600 dpi
I get get to like 30 seconds then everything falls apart.

how bad is this? I use 800 dpi. I'm going to try 400 dpi, that's what I normally use when I play games.
Anything above 45 seconds is good.
...
think you mean 1:00
...
I'm pretty good, I guess.
Third try
Could be worse
Wait why is a higher time better? its not loading on mmozilla
Why wouldn't you run at max precision? Mine is 16000.
Cursor speed is an entirely separate thing.
This is kind of useless, most people adjust their sensitivity in games so testing your aim in Windows isn't ideal.
The targets disappear after a bit and if you start missing a lot it means it's going too fast, a higher time means you kept hitting targets
>people thinking this correlates to aim in a game
Man, Sup Forums truly is autistic as fuck.
this, aiming in a game via camera and having the frametime be different compared to raw mouse input using the hardware cursor is a poor reference unless it's a game that relies on the hardware cursor (very few modern games do).
I don't think anyone really cares about that, they just see it as another competition
t. satly fags with shit scores
Is this shit even accurate at all?
Nah, it's just not a good test. My in-game sensitivity is about 75% of what it is in Windows, so testing it with a higher speed than what I would normally use just feels uncomfortable. I still got a decent score, but I don't really care about that. It's just not a good test. It would be better if it could adjust your cursor speed based on what you would use for in-game sensitivity too.
1600dpi with low sensitivity
400 dpi while playing anything
1000 while just using my computer
How the ever living fuck can you people handle using your pc with fucking 400~800 dpi only, honestly? This feels like a massive chore.
Dude, what the fuck are you talking about it's a test of dexterity and that's it. What are you even trying to compare it to?
this shit is stupid
Post DPI settings user, pls.

You get used to it really quickly
I used to run like 2k dpi, now I'm at 800 and it feels fine
Ignore second quote
It's a dexterity test for "progamers" but it doesn't let anyone adjust their cursor speed like all "progamers" do. It also claims to be able to help your in-game aiming which it's not going to do if you keep switching between different sensitivities and not getting consistent muscle memory going.
Even on windows? I'm using an ultrawide with a side monitor and it feels like a massive fucking chore just browsing around, holy shit.
There's this thing called changing mouse sensitivity. Perhaps you have heard of it?
But that will fuck up muscle memory.
Well I'm still using archaic 1080p, of course it's a different sory if you're running 4k or something
It depends on your resolution. If you're on a lower resolution, a lower DPI setting is okay because there isn't as much space for your cursor to move across.
16400 dpi
In some games the in-game sensitivity can't go low enough for it to be usable so I have to lower it on the mouse. Otherwise it's great. For me it makes a bigger difference for practical UI tasks than games.
So what do you guys do when it comes to in-game sensitivity? Damn I'm starting to feel like I actually don't know how to use a fucking mouse.
...
>Damn I'm starting to feel like I actually don't know how to use a fucking mouse.
You clearly don't. What's your problem here? Too fast? Too slow? In game? Out game?
Are you just leaving all your in-game sensitivities at default? I have a 1360x768 monitor, 800 DPI is good in Windows but too fast at default settings in-game so I drop it down from 3 to 2.2 in Source games.
Hot damn i can't get past 30 seconds on this shit
how do you feel when games don't let the sensitivity affect the ui cursors. It's the whole reason I dropped using high dpi + low game sens. 400 DPI just werks.
If you overshoot, then turn down the sens
If you can't reach targets before kil, turn it up
Lowe is generally better becaue it allows you to be more accurate once you've learned how to use your arm/elbow to aim instead of using solely your wrist
Wrist is still important for small adjustments, but arm is better because it's better at making straight lines and building solid muscle memory
It's just a case of "I am possibly gimping myself without even knowing". I'm not particularly good when it comes to FPS.
