The part where the red shirt guy rolls along the ground is the worst. Moving directly at someone, exposing the largest center of mass, and moving at a constant speed would allow anyone that is half decent with a gun to hit them very very easily.

Other safeties make sense because they require two separate actions to make the gun fire. A trigger safety is like an artificial shutter sound on a smartphone camera. It doesn't actually do anything

The weapon has a built in mag holder . The mag in the ventre of the gun is the one with chambered rounds whereas the one in the front allows fast reloads. If you played the game you might have known this.
