The under-ocean realm was also underutilized.
But it had 10/10 scenery.

I still think the Pig was originally written to die in the wreck. They would've rewrote it so the pig lived but already had the chicken setup for the rest of the film.

Oh, alright, gotcha. Yeah, I liked the movie as well. Had a good sense of adventure, beautiful animation, and good music that I felt was actually quite different in style from other Disney musicals.

Maui did do acts of trickery such as charming and trapping Moana in a cave so that he can highjack her boat. But other than that, he came more like a mythological hero than a trickster.

Moana was a terrible mary sue and I believe that's my main issue with the movie.

This girl was FIRST a Disney Princess and THEN a character, which makes it so that she may as well not be in the movie at all and you would get entirely the same effect.

I want to play this series and i dont have a ps3 or a ps4. Can i still play everything until it reaches the point in which i need to get one of those consoles? I see the first 2 are on the ps2 and the ds games i can play on my 3ds. Thoughts?

OP here. I started the series recently and I haven't seen Nightmare before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland, or any of the Pirates movies. Watching those movies don't really matter unless you want full immersion, I guess.

You can emulate them all up to the 3DS game, and there's a Ground Zeroes type prologue that was released for the PS4 not too long ago. And KH3 is coming to the PS4 and Xbox.

Might just be easier to get a PS4 with 1.5+2.5, the 6-in-1 collection, and 2.8, the 3DS game in HD+the ground zeroes prologue.
