If we're talking human characters, this is it for SMT. I'll only hear arguments for Demifiend, nobody else.
If it's demons then it's for both SMT and Persona.
Oh also Chie isn't really any more iconic than any of the other Persona 4 girls, Aigis is a lot more popular and well know. Back when I was relatively new to games I bought Persona Q because it had "the sexy robot girl I'd seen around the internet for years".

PQ is better than both of the games it's a crossover of because unlike them it focuses on gameplay instead of being a social sim with randomy generated dungeons. Hopefully we get a P5 PQ someday.
