What does Sup Forums think about Verdun?
underrated game desu
Sup ForumsERDUN
It was more fun before release
It's like Battlefield 1...
But without the fun.
Why is that? I have plenty of fun now
watermelons were not a thing during those days
unity trash
Dependent on the teams to be honest.
Can either be a stomp one way or a slug match, which is fun either way to be honest.
Brutal like war.
8/10 would die and respawn to die to artillery again.
I like the historical accuracy the most.
no you just suck
whatever you say, enjoy your boring game
the artillery shells will keep me awake
Rifles behave like railguns. They're perfectly accurate even while jumping
Also the community loves to stack so you have squads of 4 level 100s that call super-arty every 2 minutes
There has been a increase in players lately, any idea why?
it was really cheap on the steam sale.
Was there a sale on console too?
It's like Battlefield 1...
But with some fucking realism and attention to the actual fucking time period it's supposed to be FUCKING set in, rather than everyone running around like an idiot and armed with weapons that were borderline-experimental at BEST.
It's very good. I especially like the gunplay.
I like it, although the game feels really slow at times. Looking forward to Tannenburg
Yeah, you can have all the realism and historical accuracy you want.
But...
How can I enjoy that realism, if your shitty game is running at 12 FPS on the lowest settings, on my £1400 Titan Xp?
Your autistic game is made by like 4 guys in their basement... and they are using a poorly-optimized Unity engine.
I wouldn't play your boring game, even if I was paid 20 dollars an hour to do it.
P.S: Here's my Origin account "Mark1986". You can add me once you realize that Verdun is a shitty game, and decide to come play Battlefield 1.
If anything Tannenburg would be even slower since it's more fields and forests and less fancy toys than the Western front
Which side do you play on?
Me Central
Slower as in gameplay or fps because I have no problem with fps.
Me whichever team has less players like a normal fucking person and not some faggy role-player
...
I liked Verdun, but there were a lot of things wrong with it.
The movement and shooting mechanics feel real floaty and don't punish you for bunnyhopping everywhere.
Sound design is downright awful.
Some of the classes are completely useless, like the ones that give you only a shovel and a grenade.
The squad mechanic is really fucking weird and nobody uses it properly.
Unity.
Belgians have the best uniforms.
>Belgians have the best uniforms.
I like their uniforms too.
>squad mechanic is really fucking weird
Stay in blue circle and have the same players in your squad to level.
Shovel class is indeed useless
No fucking Red Army.
Beg them to make a WII game
Community is full of meme nerds from here, I regret getting it in a bundle for this reason.
It's not fun enough for me to stomach them.
It's the "meta" part of the squad system that I don't like. Tying progression and unlocks to a group you have to join just feels weird.
The devs obviously intended for people to buddy up with their friends and rack up progression over time, but only a handful of squads actually do this.
>western front
>1916
>red army
Read a fucking book.
>to buddy up with their friends
>tfw no friends to form a squad
so micspam them with virtual audio cable
