this user is right. MGS Peace Walker (and to a lessert extent, Portable Ops and even AC!D) are all great games that do unique things. Just be prepared for some grindy fucking boss fights, especially against the building sized AI in the mine.

anime soldiers doing illegal suicide missions, gameplay is interesting and not braindead easy like the previous ones

turn-based game by vanillaware, kind of a radiant historia-lite with little story, more gameplay focused and a multiplayer you can't actually use sadly.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 is pretty good despite the school life animu setting

Hah I was waiting ages for translation just to find it's horribly lagging in certain places.

Go play Outrun 2006. It's available on other platforms and better there, but it's definitely comfiest on a handheld.

Kenka Bancho Badass Rumble

Japanese school delinquent simulator, includes henchmen, shit talking minigames, and large pompadours. Good game that seems to be under the radar for many people.

Gladiator Begins is also very good.

Just play it in PPSSPP then.
