FFTA2 does have it but it's toned down to the point where breaking the law:
Forfeits a bonus reward
Unable to revive allies for the fight
and there are some optional mission that give you permanent clan upgrades that can be failed if the law is broken. Those missions can be repeated.

My casual filter on this game was some Archer called Aloser (can't make this shit up) very early into the game, that bitch spawns on top of the map with two hawkmen who also use bows and some soldiers, she would always kill somebody in one shoot or leave them with almost no HP, those who survived would just die to the hawkmen right afterwards. I played the snes verson and dropped it out of boredom and disgust, might give it another go once I can emulate the PSP version.

By far the hardest fight available at that level of the game. It hits very hard, gives bleeding effects that cancel healing, and while on the ground will approach you continuously VERY quickly, making it nearly impossible to get some distance to either take a breather with some potions or throw a bomb without catching yourself in the blast. Meanwhile, at this early stage you've got mediocre food and no upgraded potions or anything that really makes fights easier like White Raffard's Decoction, and if you're using Thunderbolt alongside Swallow you need to be carefully managing your blood toxicity with White Honey.

Not the game's hardest fight (in the base game that title goes to Imlerith), but definitely one that made a real impression at the time. I used the Shrieker trophy for the entire rest of the game.

Capra Demon taught me bad playstyle, desu. I just stood at the entrance and bashed on him/the dogs (or whatever was with him). Died like 20 times, but eventually beat it.

Was Wiegraf really that hard? You get to fight him once in Chapter 1, so you have a good idea of what you're facing in the future.

Even without the Chameleon Robe trick, there are so many way to defeat him.

most people didn't know what they were walking in to, so it caught them off guard and might have been relaxed on getting certain skills on Ramza, thus fucking them.

The problem is you can screw yourself over if you saved at the wrong time and your Ramza just wasn't equipped well enough for the fight.
