I really don't see the point in doing the achievements for self-validation, especially since it's that easy to just use some 3rd party software that will make an API call and do it for you. If you couldn't use workarounds, then it would make sense to do them. Otherwise, there's not much sense to it.

My point still remains. Don't buy low discounted games if you have a lot of them and are not done playing. You can get them later for cheaper.
For exemple, if you are not done playing Dark Souls 1 and 2, don't buy 3 if it's not a good discount, like 75% with all DLC, because at a later sale, you'll see it with that same discount, and unless you play it a lot between now and then it would not have made a difference if you bought it now. Except for the extra cash you spent.
That being said, go play Dark Souls 1.
