Why is this the worst Kingdom Hearts game?

I just beat Ventus' story and the thought of having to beat the other two makes me want to blow my brains out

Ventus' story was the hardest of the 3.
Terra is OP.

Anyway the game sucks because the way it works is you abuse invincibility for as long as you can to get through most fights.

But DDD is still worse imo.

DDD is at least fun to play... BBS shits the bed in story AND gameplay

Yeah they did a bad job showing how you should play the characters. I only figured it out because I thought Terra was hot and after him I didn't want to play the waifu bait yet so I went Ven. Then finally played Aqua. Ends up that is the ideal way you are supposed to do it.
Terra then Ventus then Aqau.

To differentiate, Aqua is basically Fencing and Terra is basically Broadsword/Axe, and they already gave Sora Mickey and Riku "standard" 1-handed styles.

Backhanded is actually a "legit" stylle, but it is actually supposed to be slow and defensive rather then GOTTA GO FAST agggressive, it is also not very effective and was basically just a gimmick to throw opponents off, so it is basically enjoyiong the same status as DUAL WEILD as being misrepresented which is also a "defensive" style meant to bladelock and then quickly go stabby with the off hand before you get over powered, both get associated with "Rogues" because they are basically "Dirty Fighting".

Terra is probably the weakest one, Meteor is good but come nowhere near Ventus get Heal Nukes and Aquas EVERYTHING, that they have with more mobility on top.

It's definitely the worst.The worlds are to short(I once beat one in 8 minutes) and the bosses range from stupid easy due to shot locks, to dumb fuck hard

>Unknown(young xehanort) also deals infinite damage but he has attack combos that count as 2 hits so it will just kill you and terras dodge was overlooked so he is unable to dodge some of his attacks
Unknown was honestly the hardest boss I ever beat due to his unfair design. Noheart on the otherhand is one of the best bosses Ive ever fought and might be the best boss in the series. Its an all out brawl that was both fun and challenging but that doesn't stop the game from being the worst.

Do yourself a favor OP and make sure your playing the through on at least proud because if you don't then you'll have to 100% the game on all 3 characters to get the secret ending and if your going for the secret bosses don't use Terra, Go for aqua im pretty sure she has unlimited invincibly as long as you spam dodge and her magic is so high that her shot locks fuckking melt bosses. I swear the worst part about that game is that you need to read a fuck guide before playing it or your going to have a bad time

He only seems like he is. He deals the most normal damage, has the highest HP, The best shot locks, a dodge that SEEMS good but isn't and the best commands.

Aqua is actually the best, Shes deal the least amount of normal damage, Has the worst commands and worst mobility but shes got the best dodge and deals metric fuck tons of damage with her shot locks

Experiment 623 and the Spinning Wheel boss are probably the hardest fights outside of final bosses, but yea, at the end Terranorts pretty easy.

Because the games start you out feeling weaker than even KH1 and by the time you feel pretty strong you're back to being weak with a different character.

Plus when you come from KH2's amazing Org XIII fights, BBS fucks everything up with it's human fights.

Not him, but I just recently beat BBS, andgreatly enjoyed the gameplay anď even story of it. Aqua being qtipie is just a nice bonus.

Re:Coded was the pinnacle of the handhelds gameplay wise. I mean sure it had the problem of OP command spam being the answer, but the fact that the keyblades all influenced your basic combos so much was fucking amazing.

I'm playing through the entire Kingdom Hearts series right now, planning to beat them all finally (I've beaten 1 and 2 but only played a few hours of the other games) and I'm really shocked to see so much hate for BbS, I honestly thought it was considered by the fanbase to be the best.

Also I just started Kingdom Hearts 2 and I love this game so much, playing KH1 I was thinking "Did I really like this game as a kid? It's really stiff and boring. Didn't age well at all" but then I booted up KH2 and THIS is the reason I love Kingdom Hearts, this game is so simple and clean.

Days was fucking Monster Hunter KH Edition.
Especially the multiplayer.

I completely agree. I've been going through all the spin-offs lately but decided to take a small break during DDD to start up a new KH2 file after not having played the game since 2007.

It blows every other game in the series out of the water. The only one that comes close to being as fun as KH2FM is Re:Coded. I almost don't even want to finish DDD anymore.

Reminder that Birth by Sleep is objectively a horrible game and all of the most popular speedrunners have gone very much in depth with the issues Osaka team has caused to kill any joy the series has ever had. It's really embarrassing that people keep trying to defend the games they make as if they were ever good or fun (they're not and if you think differently you're a liar).

Wait a minute. Sup Forums hates BBS and DDD and liked KH2 now? Since when? I could have sworn at least a year or so back we liked BBS for sure and hated KH2.

Sup Forums is full of contrarians. Wait long enough, and they'll feel the exact opposite about something compared to before.

People didn't know any better until soeedrunners showed us that our opinions were wrong.

It's good design, and the game is balanced around the limitation.

Ven>Aqua>Terra is the objectively best order to play BBS. Ven's gameplay is the most similar to Sora's, so it's a good place to start, and his story leaves a lot unanswered so you can fill the gaps when playing the other two stories. Aqua is perfect as a middle ground between the two other characters because she knows more than Ventus and sees more of the last fight but is still distanced from Terra. And Terra is just amazing if you play him last, since you can see how things went wrong and get your last answers. Plus, Lingering Will vs Terranort is BY FAR the best final boss in the game and just feels like the best way to finish it.

Never seen anyone say that on here.

Pretty much everyone agrees that BBS is the best of the games after 2, and 2 is the best game in the series.
