Switch games dumped as rom files

Things are making progress.

youtube.com/watch?v=hATAxA_ssag

Not like there's anything to play anyway.

Jesus
At least let them have some games. At this rate it is going to be the Wii U2.

Change that tile to Switch Game... can't be plural if there aren't multiple games.

Really worth using an expensive proprietary card format.

who gives a fuck? let me know when I can get free games, nerd.

Delete this fucking thread right the fuck now.

You need game dumps before you can have free games
This is a step along the path

Wii was emulated like half-way into it's lifecycle and did fine.
Wiiu was emulated post-switch announcement, it sold like shit because it was shit.

nintendo needs to stop making hardware.

>killing nintendo is progress

edgy

>Able to pirate Switch Games
>Switch Sales Increase because free 10/10 games
>Nintendo wins again

They're the only ones making different/interesting hardware, so no they shouldn't.

>look everyone, i'm defending a giant corporation

I own a Switch and support them. Hacking my 3DS breathed new life into it.

I hope they get locked up.

worked for the dreamcast

There's nothing different about a tablet, they've been making them for years

>can't even make enough switches for people to buy

Nah man, everyone deserves to play Splatoon 2 on launch day.

It's a win win.

>no chips to make new switches
>switch sales increase

Yeah, no.

now, if they can fix nintendo's shitty voice chat, the switch would be worth buying

psp was hacked in it's first year
vita took 4 years

really makes you think

Nice. We all need to do our part to make sure nintendo gets no support and no money. We all need to force nintendo to go third party.

this but unironically

Piracy has no affect on the success of a hardware platform, but I wouldn't say the same about software support. PSP had terrible 3rd party support, as did the Wii, DC, etc. 3DS is kind of a mixed bag.

A system hacked early is a death sentence if you want 3rd party I think, but perhaps Nintendo systems don't get good 3rd party to begin with

>We all need to force nintendo to go third party.

Yes Sony, we know you're starving for games.

This is great. I'm already ready to do the "YOU HAVE LITERALLY NO EXCUSE" threads once Switch piracy becomes available

psp is like the best portable ever

I don't want shitty western games anyway

This but without a sense of irony

I'm curious, who's hacking their Switch as soon as they can?

This except being sincere.

True. Look at the Vita -- it took nearly five years to finally have limited piracy available on it and it has almost 100% of its games be 3rd party titles. That's roughly 1300 titles if I'm being generous with Sony's 1st party games on the system.
Early piracy capabilities is a death sentence for any form of 3rd party.

Nintendo needs to realize that they're specialty is standalone handhelds. 3DS, DS, Gameboy have all been some of their best sellers. They need to make a successor to the Gameboy that isn't the 3DS.

>who's hacking their Switch as soon as they can?
not me

I'm waiting for the good version of switch to come out

Me.
Though that is mainly due to having literally no games on it other than Bomberman.

Why is piracy so rampant and early on Nintendo systems? Why don't we get Sony and Xbox hacks really early on?

Pokemon is a big driving factor for sure. People can not stand to play that legit.

>Though that is mainly due to having literally no games on it other than Bomberman.

Then just buy more games?

>Standalone hand helds
Fuck you. The concept of plugging it into my TV or swapping to on the go casually is great.

Said tablet is also a controller and can dock to be played as a console. You don't have to like it, I personally don't.

The only games that interested me which weren't already available on better consoles/for free haven't been released yet.

Is this the Sonic guy?

Many reasons:

>Sony and Microsoft invest heavily in security, mostly to protect their online services
>Nintendo's first-party titles are very popular
>Nintendo's hardware is weaker than most and based on hardware hackers have experience with from previous gens/other sources

Sony and Microsoft consoles get hacked too, but not nearly as often/to the extent as Nintendo's machines.

Free games is still not enough to make me buy a switch

How the fuck will we get free games from them then?

Someone redpill me on hacking my Wii U.

I still play Smash on the regular online with friends, but I wanna just shove an everything SD card with all of the emulators on it like I did with my Wii. Is that possible?

All know exploits were patched last night.

How is that a logical reason for hacking

You all know hacking will increase Switch sales just for the portability it offers right?

Are there any decent versions of the switch coming to the US anytime soon? I just checked today and my local gamestop has the red and blue version, and I'm considering getting it so I can play splatoon 2 when it launches

It's essentially a handheld with TV out
I think the detachable joycons are too gimmicky to actually work. Using the 6" screen as a makeshift TV is too small in practicality, especially with 2 people in front of it

It might be more powerful than most tablets at least GPU-wise, but that's because tablet gaming hasn't been something that has required beefy GPUs, and the same reason Switch has no games: only Nintendo is really taking advantage of it

To me, it seems like if people really wanted "console" experiences on the go, this is something that would have happened already. The only reason it's selling well right now is because it's Nintendo and they have a handful of 10-20 million fans (Wii U would suggest at least 13 million) that will buy anything with the Nintendo brand on it. Reaching Wii levels of success (or even 3DS levels of success) would require a degree of mass appeal which I do not think it has, currently. The only reason you'd want one is if you're a Nintendo fan or want to play Nintendo games, because you sure as hell can't do anything else with it.

AWWW FUCK
I KNEW I SHOULDN'T HAVE PLAYED THAT LAST GAME

How the fuck does this keep happening? Is it easy to hack or does the majority of hacking autism just go to Nintendo property? Where is the progress for Xbone and PS4?

For fuck sake this. I have hacked almost all my consoles but in the case of the Switch, this is not even the priority ahah Just hack that shit to create a decent OS.

>The only games that interested me which weren't already available on better consoles

If it's also on the Switch I would just call it the better version because they're also portable. I'm assuming you're talking about tittles like Shovel Kinight, Disgea 5, and Puyo Puyo Tertris.

You can download PS4 games too, doesn't mean there's a way to play them
Fuck off PC shitters

>Where is the progress for Xbone and PS4?

Xbone exclusives are already on PC/Win 10, Literally no one cares about Sony IPs. So never user, never.

>devs lose
>again

>does the majority of hacking autism just go to Nintendo property
This. Probably also a bit of your first assumption too, but it's more that a lot of very well known hackers are into Nintendo this time (they weren't fond of the Wii U)

it was literally just the browser exploit that got patched. someone just needs to find a new webkit vulnerability and 5.5.2 will be as hackable as 5.5.1

No... I don't believe this. This is all a mistake, it can't be real...

>Literally no one cares about Sony IPs
Then why do PC gamers petition for them?

They couldn't wait 3-5 years?

You mean Bloodborne? that's only on Sup Forums bruh, the game is not even relevant anymore outside of memes.

What would switch game look like as MOM files???

>I'm not interested in anything that requires an internet connection so I plan on hacking my Switch asap since the punishment of failing isn't significant

I got Shovel Knight and Puyo Puyo Tetris on the Vita already and both play perfectly. D5 is the only one that isn't portable, but why would I pay more for a game that runs worse? They even reduced the price of D5 on the PSN to $40 so there isn't any reason to get the Switch version unless you just don't have a PS4.

It was never relevant
Only Sup Forums gives a shit about Bloodborne

You mean when the Switch will be irrelevant, because drones will be waiting for the New Nintendo Switch XL ?

poor people want their free games, and they want it now.

>I got Shovel Knight and Puyo Puyo Tetris on the Vita already and both play perfectly.

Can't play local co-op/multiplayer.

> but why would I pay more for a game that runs worse?

D5 runs exactly the same as the PS4 version, stop shitposting.

I literally bought every Wii U game worth a damn, all I want is emulators

>runs worse

What do you mean? From everything I've seen it runs the exact same on PS4 and Switch

if switch goes hacked I'd buy one

...

>I got Shovel Knight and Puyo Puyo Tetris on the Vita already and both play perfectly

Yeah too bad about the screen though

Unf.

Who is this?

A woman

>To me, it seems like if people really wanted "console" experiences on the go, this is something that would have happened already.
PS Vita had a problem with this.
People don't want console games on their handheld, or vice versa. Good handheld games are designed around shorter play sessions.

No, people just don't want to develop console games on a handheld

lol no. People will develop anything that sells. Console games on handheld do not sell.

They copied the Wii U stick placement in that image. It was clearly modeled after the Wii U gamepad as a proof-of-concept.

I said who, not what.

"A woman" is not specific enough.

>Console games on handheld do not sell.

seeing as you can play said console games docked it really isn't a problem for the Switch, also most people see it as a boon and not a negative.

>b-but

I am the only one who is gonna still buying games after hack his Switch?

>>Can't play local co-op/multiplayer.
Maybe on Shovel Knight but I already did everything I could do in the game to the point of acquiring its plat and have since dropped it. I actually had to google up on its multiplayer since I didn't even know it was a thing. As for Puyo Puyo, I played that shit constantly when it was initially released so it isn't like I had trouble with multiplayer. I bet 99% of the Switch owners out there don't even make use of these local co-op things either.
But despite that, why would I want to buy these games again for something so minor then?

The Vita's screen is great unless you got the 2k. If you're one of those who hate handhelds in general, the Vita TV was like $30 back then and could play them perfectly on your TV anyway.

This.
Handheld games and console games are different creatures. People who love handheld games don't want a "home console experience" even if the only time they use their handheld is under the covers in bed.
Take Tokyo Xanadu for example - it was made specifically for the Vita and it shows in its mechanics. Reviewers have even been stating to pick up the Vita version over the expanded PS4 version due to how it plays.

All women are the same what's the difference?

...

You're supposed to buy the console and keep it in the box/off wifi until the piracy firmware is found.

Nah the Vita screen is too smol

>Maybe on Shovel Knight but I already did everything I could do in the game to the point of acquiring its plat and have since dropped it. It really does sound like you're trying to minimize the console by assumption or wishful thinking, it's a bit weird m8. I use the local MP a lot personally, and its the first time for me owning those games. And even if I did own those games I'd prefer a portable version. I do not have a Vita though.

Two things
>Sony and Microsoft tend to put a lot more effort in their security systems, and it helps that they have experience with other things like phones and computers, so they have experience
>Most people who buy a Playstation or an Xbox are just playing it for games like FIFA or 2K, Nintendo tends to attract more avid gamers, which in turn brings more hackers

>Handheld games and console games are different creatures. People who love handheld games don't want a "home console experience" even if the only time they use their handheld is under the covers in bed.

I'm guessing you don't own Zelda on the Switch, because it perfectly works both docked and undocked.

honestly I hope it happens

sony and microsoft have account systems, so they can just ban accounts

>not selling off all your WiiU games when the device became piracy enabled

What are you doing user?

>Nintendo tends to attract more avid gamers,
Then why are nintendo consoles lacking in so many 3rd party games, such as Persona 5, Bloodborne, or Nioh, exclusive to the PS brand?

>sony and microsoft have account systems

So does Nintendo, starting with the Switch.

Because nintendo makes good games
