3DS Thread

Post what you're playing, what you want, activity log, etc.

I've been playing Sonic 2 (3D classic) a lot lately and also some SMM3DS on the side. I'm really looking forward to the new Metroid game.

I also still have to pick up copies of Planet Robobot, Fed Force and some other games.

How's Mario Maker on 3DS?

Haven't really touched my DS in literal months. What's the best picross game?

You can download Zelda Picross for free if you have enough points on MyNintendo

It's a lot worse than the Wii U version. There is some bad slowdown here and there and you can't upload your levels to the internet.

It comes with a lot of levels made by Nintendo that are really good for the most part though. They are pretty fun especially since each of them comes with two additional optional challenges.

I only got it because I found a heavily discounted copy. I wished there was a least a way to transfer you levels from the 3DS to the Wii U and back. It's still nice being able to experiment with new ideas on the 3DS, that you then can copy over to a level on the Wii U by hand.

That's clearly a 2DS

I've ordered this thing, where's the cheapest place to get games? I've never owned a DS before.

>There is some bad slowdown here and there

Aw shit. This was my biggest worry. Expected, though.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
Passed the 300 hour mark today
Just hunted my first Tiger Zamtrios

I have an old 3d xl though, maybe it's better on New models.

Which country are you in?

i really need to get 4U. I enjoyed the demo

Britannia.

It's fun

Look for deals on sites like 365 games. I bought a new copy of RE Revelations from them for like 7 Eurobucks. Also look for deals on the European mainland.

What are some good CFW/Homebrew apps, just installed luma + freeshop

playcoin setter

so you can give yourself the max amount of play coins (300)

Bought a 3DS a few days ago, and christ this game is amazing in 3D. If feels like Navi's pixel trails are actually hitting me in the face.

I completely forget about the 3d in a lot of 3ds games because so few pull it off well, anyone got any reccomendations where the 3d is actually good

There was a 3DS game yesterday that listed games that do it well and ones that don't. Look up 3DS in the archives. It was a pretty long thread.

It's one of rhe 3ds games with the best effect imo, it is pretty intense, both navi trails and cuckoo feathers look great.
Kid Icarus is another game with great 3D effect.

Thank

I played Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D until after completing the level with the swarms of spiders that fill up half your screen then I dropped the game. It probably made me more prone to high blood pressure because of the level of blood sweat and tears i pour into it.

Actually playing Cave Story. It's a nice game

>trying to 100% that level

great game but the high blood pressure doesn't even start before mirror mode desu

trying to HHM without arena abuse
wish me luck

any recommendations on RPG maker games?
I just got pic related a couple of days ago.

what about us? where to get cheap games?

>glossy exterior

that's a nice 3ds user

>BoF and BoF2 are in the Nintendo marketplace for 3DS

This thing feels so cheaply made compared to the 3DS_XL.

Also how's my haul - I bought more online but they've yet to be delivered. I bought what I could find in store on sale.

Which is the best Etrian Odyssey game on 3DS for beginners?

thank you, I was gonna wait for the new 2ds xl but when I saw this one I had to get it, plus it was like, 20 dollars cheaper than other 3ds' I guess no one was buying the fire emblem edition there kek

Solid so far user. What have you ordered online?

Be sure to check out 3D Land, Planet Robobot and A Link Between Worlds.

I've been trying to 100% Fantasy Life but god damn is that game tedious

Any of the ones available for that system, really.

Animal Crossing, Tales of The Abyss, Ghost Trick, and Xenoblade Chronicles coming in the mail.

Whatever I can find for a decent price really. Also got those and earthbound digitally.

>A Link Between Worlds

How is Majora's Mask 3D?

Just downloaded the Picross 3D demo and it's pretty fun senpai

MHXX (with patch), got stucked in G-Rank

After I get bored of it I'll try out Ever Oasis

>How is Majora's Mask 3D?
It's great. It fixes most problems of the original but they also fucked some small things up.

...

DS games mostly on it.

>Xenoblade Chronicles
Maximum comfy on a handheld.

The game doesn't feel like it was made to be played at such a low res in such a small screen though.

Not to say it's unplayable and you definitely do get used to it, but it's just not the same.

True the character models in most cut-scenes look awful and so do the majority of textures;but It's the only way I can enjoy long RPGs nowdjays and compared to my PSV the scale and quality of this game eclipses every single game on the platform.

Yeah I've emulated it before, and I was curious as to how the version made only for the NEW 3DS XL worked.

Framerate-wise it's a solid 30 with the exception of certain boss fights that have some noticeable slowdown.Graphics-wise it's what you would expect from a handheld port.

Playing Dream Team. I really want to continue because I love Antasma but holy shit the amount of dialogue and "turtorials" makes me want to bash my head in.

Whats the best Pokemon game on the 3DS? I haven't played Pokemon since ruby and sapphire

X

ROBOBOT

Anyone play the Woolly World port? It sure does play nice

I'm playing Scarface - The world is yours , on PC
i wanna kill this fuckin sosa.

I'm short sighted and playing 3 for half an hour fucks with my vision afterwards. I should probably stop.

nothing. sold it last week. this console and whole nintendo should die. never ever again im gonna buy or play nintendos shit.

ow the edge

Tax return time: buying myself a 2DS XL.

/r/ing great metroidvanias

First super metroid run
5 hours 100%
It was fun.

XY is very easy but it has best world out of the 3
Oras is shit that is basically legendary collecting the game if you've played ruby and sapphire and emerald then this shit will bore you to death because of how easy it is
SM is quite handholdy and is overall kinda short with shit for engame. Difficulty is mediocre if you've never played a pokemon game before
I like XY a lot because of the movement and how smooth the PC and stuff is. Rollerblades a best.

So canada has a great trade up deal for getting the new 2dsxl, but the US doesn't? This is why gamestop is going out of business.

Yeah because you definitely had one in the first place , fuck off and take your autismo console wars back to youtube and ifunny

I LOVE MY 3DS

Just started Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon. Slow, but still fun.
Also, have any fellow pirates tried playing the GBA one? Whenever you try to save in that game it fails. Is it just unplayable?

Its comfy

why do the 3DS kirby games play so much than any other kirby game

>play so much

Play so much what?

better

I dunno. Triple Deluxe is the first Kirby game that I've really played from start to finish. I liked it.

not sure what to play next

What have you played already?

video games
