It's cool to see someone admit that they like both Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. They can both be good. Considering dropping like $530 for a Switch bundle on Target with Zelda and Kart, but that's just so much more than I want to spend right now. Just BotW is what I want to play anyway. Should I do it?

MGR and Ghost Trick are really up there for me. I'm literally at the end of Xenoblade but Lorithia is kicking my ass so I have to grind like nobodies business and it kind of stinks. Hopefully today I can beat it. 5 years in the making or me to finish this game. It's really great and I stoked for 2.

I need to replay 5 because the more I reflect on it the more disappointed I become. I think it's no less than great but the characters, story, and battles kind of fell flat for me when all was said and done, at least relatively to 3 for me. Gotta go back and make sure. Love FFX.

Oh, and in response to your Switch question, I wouldn't buy one until some more games come out unless you like Splatoon. Personally, I'd recommend one once Odyssey comes out, it'll have a ton of games by then:

That's what I was gonna do but I am worried if I wait too long I won't be able to get one at all until like spring. Waiting till Octoberish is rolling the dice. Plus the end of the year is already so full that it will be tough to play everything, so it would be nice to get Zelda out of the way now. I still gotta catch up on Horizon and Nier too

it takes the solid gameplay of melee, adds the good party stuff and roster of brawl, and polishes up the gameplay
PM > 4 > Melee > 64 > Brawl

Idk then, here in the UK they're easy to get your hands on. I got 125 hours of Zelda so far so if you haven't got a Wii U I guess it'd be worth it.

inb4 the 2 trilogies don't count, I consider them both to be a single narrative and both brilliant at that. Playing Metroid Prime without playing the other 2 prime games seems incomplete.

Well, any version of SoM is good, it depends on which version you're more likely to be able to play with other people with because what really makes SoM so much fun is that it's a MULTIPLAYER action RPG If you have IRL friends that would play a game that takes dozens of hours to complete with you then yeah, the Wii VC edition is probably going to be the most economical and easiest way to get 3 people to play together, because getting the SNES, multitap, and cartridge is going to be pricey.

If you don't have people to play with locally but might have people to play with online then you need to get an emulator with netplay, I know Zsnes USED to have netplay but not anymore.

I like Skyrim and Morrowind more because of the more distinct cultures in them. Cyrodiil felt very generic fantasy, where Skyrim is up to your eyeballs in Nord culture, and Morrowind you're just drowning in Dunmer culture, just makes them more interesting to me. I actually like Skyrim's gameplay best out of the series because you can't permanently cripple your character by not leveling in the most efficient way possible, like if you level a skill ONE more time after reaching your necessary skillups to level you waste those skill improvements, it almost feels like you have to level up first, THEN you can go on an adventure and have fun. I use mods to change the leveling systems in Morrowind and Oblivion just to make them more fun, and the result is closer to the leveling system in Skyrim where you just... decide the way you want to play and just do it and you get better at it, no redundant attribute system, the perks are more gamechanging than attributes ever were, but for story and atmosphere, Morrowind is as good as the series ever gets.
