What went wrong?
Will ARMS die completely once Splatoon 2 is released? I put around 60 hours into ARMS so I got my money's worth but I see no reason to continue playing.

It has done pretty well for itself so I wouldn't say anything went wrong.
You can still get matches very fast so it's not dead.
>What went wrong?
what didn't? you play as boxing clowns with slinkies for arms
Where are you from? Here in Europe lobbies are empty until 12am and it's very hard to find higher ranked matches until 8pm in the evening.
It can't possibly compete with Capcom's fighters.
>Europe
Thats probably why, Canada here, the longest ive waited for a match is a minute
>no content
>new IP
>fighting game
>stuck on one system
If you're going to make a fighter with no content outside of battles, you need to have depth.
If you want to add depth, you're going to have to make it somewhat complex.
If you make it too complex, new Switch owners won't grasp it in the first 10 hours because they have no other real fighting games to play.
There needs to be more rewards for winning games. I don't play Overwatch but don't you get crates of stuff if you win or something? That in this game would work wonders I feel. In this day and age people need more motivation to play online games.
You level up gear and theres a brutal rank up system
Plenty of motivation
Nintendo tried their hand at a shitty Street Fighter clone and it exploded in their faces. What else is new.
It's a quick burst and then a slow burn. I'm sure you'll have no problem finding lobbies, it's just hype for the game will slowly but surely lessen until they decide to release more and more dlc.
>Street Fighter clone
0/10
>doesn't even try to prove me wrong
>You level up gear
should be there by the start
>brutal rank up system
a brutal rank system that gives you nothing
Burden of proof, ect.
At least try to be subtle next time
>two people in fighting arena
>hit each other until one goes down
>there's combos, throws, and super attacks
Wow, I wish Street Fighter had this shit.
Dumbass tendy
>Street Fighter invented fighting games
Loving every laugh
>it's basically exactly street fighter
>but I'll say it's not to save face
Nintendies are literally seething from these truth bombs right now
it's somehow on the evo japan line up so i don't know
...
It's replacing Melee next year
I barely even have to put in effort when it comes to smashing the shit out of your arguments.
No arguments today, just (You)s
And it doesn't come any closer to making the switch have any games.
Only game worth playing is only on PC, stay mad sonegro
Right now it's sitting on a comfy community of 170k in Japan which is pretty great numbers for fighting games in Japan.
I'm curious to see how NPD numbers pan out once we get them (likely tomorrow).
