Welp, it looks like the Switch will not be getting Senran Kagura 7 and only will be getting a VN spinoff of the series from now on. Kinda disappointing that Nintendo platforms, where the series started on, which until this title had only mainline games of the series. It look Sony stepped their game up to the point of robbing Nintendo another okayish title.
>Rip in pepperoni Nintendo...you tired And I'm tired of people like you regurgitating the same threads
Leo Gray
Always good for a laugh.
Nathan Rivera
HAHAHAHA
holy shit that is funny. I wonder how many rustles were jimmy'd
Chase Gonzalez
Wow Nintendo is getting cucked
Cameron Roberts
>Welp, it looks like the Switch will not be getting Senran Kagura 7 the studio doing SK games now its making 2 games non, go cry me a river
Jace Smith
Well they were always getting the "pure" aka toddler versions.
Jeremiah Green
Weren't they making the asuka spinoff and another game for the switch? Also, it's miss piggy's birthday, tell her something nice.
John Sanchez
Didn't you already make this exact thread not too long ago?
Mason Ramirez
Asuka is the best. All others are only second to her.
Connor Foster
Please use my face as your toilet Haruka mama!

Does anyone else feel like the story could benefit greatly from a timeskip?
Flash forward 3 or 4 years or something and come back with all the girls out of school, experienced in anti-yoma missions, more confident and ready to handle some actual meaningful shit? I feel like the series is stuck in a rut right now.

>PBS will be USK18 in Germany What the fuck. Senran games were always USK16 at max. Deep Crimson was even USK12! At least it is better than VD which just got completly refused rating.
Christian Miller
You must be 18 or older to post on this site.

Deep Crimson already made Yoma feel like the same fodder as the random ninja grunts. I know they use the excuse of the Yoma being newly born which is why they're so weak, but it still feels like their threat level is severely diminished compared to how they were portrayed earlier where it was said it took entire squads of elite shinobi just take out one Yoma. Not to mention theoretically the other girls could get Super Saiyan modes like Asuka and Homura as well.
I like the games but I feel the same as you. There doesn't really seem like much else to do aside from resolve a few lingering plot lines for some of the girls. I honestly think the best bet would be to end the series after 7 since that's when Ikaruga and Katsuragi are supposed to graduate.
James Lopez
Don't tell me there was someone thinking the Switch would actually get games.
Matthew Brooks
I'd be sad if the series ended because even after this many games it still hasn't gone anywhere. I feel like there's a lot of untapped potential but Takaki's going to need to pull something out of his ass to get things moving again at this point.
Jackson Cook
And nothing of value was lost
Evan Adams
The series has been stuck in a rut from conception. The setting has all this backstory about yoma, good ninja, and evil ninja. But the actual games don't expand on any of this. They don't go into any detail about the higher ups of the ninja council being corrupt despite all the conspiracies and sabotage they're supposedly responsible for. The girls almost never ever go on missions. When they do they refuse to carry them out because Asuka is a babby who thinks killing even the enemy is super hidoi. All they do is sit at school and deepthroat sushi rolls. Takaki is a fucking hack that created this series as a boob joke yet slapped on setting and lore he refuses to do anything with. The only way to fix the story is to hire an actual writer and give them the power to kick Takaki in the dick every time he tries to do something stupid.

It's been a while since I've seen this pasta.

The final nail on the coffin would be if VD became a better series than SK
Jackson Jones
pig
Benjamin Jackson
VD game would have been great if it had the same lewdness level the anime had. Yes, I know it's basically impossible with the differences between anime and game rating systems, but still...
Oliver Wood
>is to hire an actual writer They have an actual writer, I don't think how much Takaki is involved in the overall story outside of concepts, but if you really want to blame someone in that regard, look for Yukinori Kitajima.
Gabriel Campbell
>would be if VD became a better series than SK and how would that happen after the abysmal sales it had? With an anime and mobile app to help promote it to boot. I doubt Valkirya Drive will ever get a sequel. Takaki's only somewhat succesful baby is Senran Kagura, you would be surprised to look at his resume and see how many series he was part of and how mahy of them are dead and buried.
Camden Gray
You posted links but none of them mention this, did I miss something?
