Honestly I was just fucking around when posting the half bad thing. I don't recall how I felt when I was playing as the werehog at all (I only played the Wii version also by the way). I hear it shat on a lot though.

I'm a 100% Nintendofag but somebody gave me their PS3 for free so I'm really only playing the Sonic games I missed. Hope the Wii version doesn't have anything significant that makes it worth playing over the PS3 version.

It's actually not really bad at all. The Werehog is more tolerable in that version because the stages are much shorter and more platforming-oriented. I also liked how they did the medal system in that they weren't placed randomly in the stages to collect but rather you got them for completing stages and depending on your rank you got more or less of them. (And getting a high rank is piss easy so you pretty much always got three of them at a time.) MUCH more tolerable than the HD versions' medal hunting, by far. The Gaia Temples are neat to mess around with and they usually involve switching back and forth between Sonic and the Werehog on the fly. It's the daytime stages and "hub worlds" that are severely lacking compared to the HD versions. I think the final boss was less annoying too. (The Gaia Temple fight thing was just Punch Out rather than a series of QTEs.) Then again, I am talking about the PS2 version which didn't have the waggle but I'm told that it wasn't even forced so maybe the Wii and PS2 aren't that much different anyway.
I think if you can get it for under ten bux you could do a lot worse for a Sonic game from that era. By DIMPS, no less.
