You are probably using a PAL ISO which is locked to 25fps.

I replayed Sunshine not too long ago and I never want to play it again. It's really not that good.

Nah, it's running at 30 and dipping frequently. It's not the computer either, because every other game I play in Dolphin runs fine.

TTYD is much more satisfying to beat, despite being much easier.

Sunshine is just meh.

If you're playing with a keyboard instead of a controller don't bother with a 3D platformer, it's doable but it's such a shittier experience that you shouldn't bother. Even with a controller I'd recommend TTYD over Sunshine though.
