Wait, hold on. If she body snatches at birth then she has actual parents right? Then why the fuck does she chill at Hyde's house? Unless it's only temporarily during the Hollow Night.
Any news for a PC version?
I imagine the parents would notice almost immediacy it's not the same person.
Continuing with the ongoing story summaries.
Hyde is either way too fucking nice, has a heart of a child, or is some kidnapper waiting to happen because he invites Linne to his house to explain more of herself.
She bodysnatches every time her current body dies
Because Hyde likes to kidnap little girls for his lust.
>he invites Linne to his house to explain more of herself.
Someone's in for one hell of a headpatting session.
None
Still, considering her newest snatch is an elementary school girl, wouldn't the parents know something's up?
That's weird thing I'm having a tough time wrapping my head around. She comes into town with the body we see her in the most too, so she's definitely from out of town and is just masquerading as just another kid. No clue on that yet but I'm sure I overlooked something
This is an elementary school girl
Linne answers too honestly with her inner-child when Hyde asks if she wanted him to buy her sweets and the two go eat some crepes while he gives her a tour of the town.
And as you might have guessed, Hyde lives alone while his parents are off working
>If she body snatches at birth
I almost sure she doesn't snatch at birth, she just snatch the body of a girl, no matter the age. THis time it was a elementary school girl.
>Doesn't like being called young
>Hates being called little
>Calls herself a granny but doesn't enjoy being called old
Just play it safe and call her cute.
Since she's from "very far away", she probably just reluctantly ran away from the girl's parents. Linne's ongoing personality might be merged with her current body, but she's still aware of what's important to her.
I want to feed her candy
I wonder how she tries to explain herself to the people her previous body's owner knew.
>Linne answers too honestly with her inner-child when Hyde asks if she wanted him to buy her sweets and the two go eat some crepes while he gives her a tour of the town.
>Linne answers too honestly with her inner-child when Hyde asks if she wanted him to buy her sweets
Disregarding the inherent creepiness of literally asking "hey kid, want some candy," that is fucking adorable.
The things I would do to this elementary school girl.
So it's pretty much more than confirmed that UNI is Melty Blood 2.0 right?
She probably doesn't, she just runs away. No wonder she wants to die for real, she's killing a lot of girl without wanting it.
A Linne is fine too.
Sions arcade mode has her straight up call out that vatsita is similar to len so it's not like they aren't aware of what they're doing
Night falls and Linne admits that she had way more fun that she ought to have when she was supposed to just snoop for information around town. Linne thanks Hyde for accompanying her and decides to leave. Hyde doesn't try and stop her this time but warns her that the town has rumors of mysterious shadows that show up at night. He says he doesn't believe in those ghost stories but is still something to be wary of at night
It mostly went
>Anywhere you wanted to go? Did you want to eat something by chance?
>Sweets?!
>Crap, I answered way more happily than I should have.
Also, stop with the lewd
Eltnum's arcade dialog is all about how the cast is basically all the traits of Melty's characters thrown in a blender and redistributed.
please have a seat
There was a bunch of scenes like that in KT
>Also, stop with the lewd
I can try, but no promises.
So are we finally kicking off the actual main story, or are we still doing character backgrounds and other fluff? Will Hyde actually start showing up?
She's trying to sabotage them in their own game
carmine is about as close as french bread can go to make up for never putting SHIKI in melty blood before outright stealing
The whole of Chronicle seems to be covering what exactly everyone was up to before Hyde becomes an in-birth. Nanase's story is right after and I assume Hyde and Hilda get the finale so we're moving forward but probably not as much as you think
Hyde asks one last time if Linne really has a place to go back to and Linne confirms that not only does she have a place to go back to, but has someone waiting for her, particularly someone huge and brimming with muscle. Hyde says he was stupid for worrying if that's the case and says his goodbyes and tells her to come find him if she's ever in town again. Linne is finally alone and describes Hyde as someone with a loud mouth, no delicacy, and other young shounen things but she hopes that maybe in another form, they'll meet again
This story keeps delivering.
>particularly someone huge and brimming with muscle.
What the actual fuck did she mean by this?
my guess is waldstein
waldstein and linne are buds or something
Linne however is more interested in what Hyde said on the mysterious shadows, and how he feels like he's being watched by something during the night. Linne surmises that if he could sense a void, he might show some potential and decides to tail him for a bit. So she stalks him through his morning walk to school and then comes back to his highschool around twilight. Linne spots Hyde getting out of school but decides not to reveal herself since he was talking with another girl. The two part ways and Linne continues following him
Waldstein
Me on the right
CUTE
THE DOUJINS WRITE THEMSELVES
Reminder that there's like an entire month between Linne saving Hyde from a Void and them attacking Paradox.
CUTE
Linne's guesses are correct and she tracks Hyde to an alleyway where she finds him completely immobilized and about to be chowed down by voids. Linne leaps in and while she fends them off, Hyde is the one that finishes them off.
Cue the sexy Night Walker remix from Seth's CG scene
Will this story mode explain how hyde gets away wthout tucking in his shirt or doing his belt properly?
Hyde gets bit, and draws a dark red blade to save himself. Linne helps him to his feet and Hyde asks who Linne seriously is. Linne is impressed that he's still able to talk and she brings him to the park to explain things
Of course not.
Linne's story mode ends there. Nanase's next while Hyde's is the penultimate chapter so Hilda gets the last chapter
His school probably has a super lax dress down code for him to get away with it. He looks like a delinquent. Or someone as pure as Orie fell for him I have no clue.
Linne is going to bite Hyde
>Official school uniform
>TWO BELTS OUTSIDE THE JACKET
>Belts on the wrists
He's not dumb enough to wear this. Orie's uniform is fine, but this is retarded.
>Hyde gets bit
Why exactly does being bit by a monster and not dying give you superpowers? I get it's basically just a vampire thing but what's the lore reason?
He may be a delinquent who brings young girls to his home but he has a heart of gold, probably.
>no pc version
Actually, how come she gets to wear a different uniform compared to the rest of the school? Is it a "transfer student" thing? Cause we already saw girls wearing Hyde's uniform but they go to the same school.
PC RELEASE WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN
You either what EXS you have or survive and have that power "activated" in you I guess.
Nanase is just practicing english, coincidentally falling in love with the word Windmill cause she thinks its cute. She's giving some sort of self-introduction like some shoujo anime like how she wants to fall in love and how cool she thinks her senior Yoshiko (Phonon) is
No other girls from the previous story modes go to Hyde's school. So I'm pretty sure that's the female uniform. Phonon and the others are from different schools
Voids suck out your soul when they bite you, but they also fill your body with the ability to sense EXS and manifest your power. How Linne, who canonically is the only In-Birth to still have her soul, uses EXS without getting bitten in every body she steals, is up in the air.
Speeding through Nanase's story mode. Basically she and a friend of her's decides to head out at night to see if the rumors are true regarding the mysterious shadows
I've been playing Undernight in birth exe:late for about 3 hours now.
What the fuck is going on the story.
Nah the females have a similar uniform. You can see them in Orie's end card.
Oh yeah shit, that existed. Yep, guess the transfers students get a pass
So I guess an official month passes between Linne and Wald invading Hyde's house and Nanase's story since Hyde shows up in the park Nanase is staking out in and he mentions the name Paradox
The Licht Kreis is probably rich as fuck, they likely donate money to decent schools across the globe with the cavet that the students they send there can dress however they want as long as it's modest enough.
I wonder how many times Hyde has had to deal with someone nagging him to tuck in his shirt, zip up his jacket, and fix his tie and all his belts.
Unreal black THINGS
Hyde runs into Nanase in the dead of night in the park and she gets freaked out. Hyde checks on her if she's alright but she's more concerned with how someone creeped up on her and keeps calling him names. Hyde asks her to shut up and keep her voice down while apologizing. While Nanase keeps berating him, she can't help but feel that something from a shoujo manga is happening to her.
Does Enkidu ever open his eyes or does he only do that in his infinite worth?
So while Hyde thought Nanase was affilated with Paradox, Nanase has no clue what Hyde is talking about and Hyde sees that she isn't an in-birth at all and decides to leave before Nanase restrains him and demands him to tell her everything. Hyde gives some half-assed excuses but sooner or later, a Void creeps up on her and she gets bit, with Hyde eliminating it soon after. Nanase loses consciousness so Hyde carries her to safe place instead of running off
Will the story mode explain why this JC runs around nopan at night?
So wait, what happened to linne between talking to shota seth and now that she changed bodies?
If anything, while Hyde did unfortunately get her bit, he saved her from a potential raping since he watched over her unconscious body for a bit before leaving as she started to gain consciousness
Hyde's story mode starts, he trains every night at the park and Linne greets him back at his house as he returns. The Hollow Night approaches and Hyde's been getting trained.
I assume she spoke to Seth in a different town and both ended up coming to the same town with the highest concentration of voids, EXS, and in-births
She's not running around nopan like some baka, it's high riding slutpan fitting for an experienced prostitute.
But she looked obviously not like an elementary schooler. Did she die or does she only have a set amount of time before she has to take over a body?
>Night Blade falls apart due to Seth's family
>Linne probably dies in the rebellion and gets a new body
>Kuon runs off
>Wald and Linne run around Japan following clues about Kuon and the Insulator
And then they end up in Kanzakai because of all the other In-Births drawing their attention. Kuon likely became a Rebirth during all this, or maybe before.
As much as Hyde is training, Linne tells him to stay put during the actual Hollow Night. The two bicker like siblings so Linne just brings Wald out and the latter asks if Hyde is ready to face the night, he wouldn't mind testing him. Hyde immediately backs down and leaves to go buy groceries to make the three of them dinner
I would assume she was killed
She most likely died again.
Basically when her old body dies her soul jacks a new body. We don't know how long it was between her old body and her new body or any similar details.
uniel arcade modes made me thought voids only showed up during the hollow night, but that doesn't match up with the timeline if nanase got bit noticably after hyde did but before the actual hollow night. What's so special about it?
Do they even bother to explain why hyde doesn't have parents objecting to a mountian of a man living in his house?
Hyde's parents work overseas, just like my japanese animes
Hyde is a good boy
Oh fug
Sure, but isn't it every month? And hyde was training all month long for the next one that's just "now" happening?
Reminder that Linne had a dick at some point in Seth's lifetime
HYDE, STOP ASKING PEOPLE IF THEY WANT TO CRASH AT YOUR PLACE
HERE COMES DAT BOI, THE MAN HIMSELF
user was right, why is every guy besides Seth and Chaos either shirtless or doesn't button up
wait what
I can't confirm that
Explain.
Oh no it's Hyde's only weakness, more little girls.
ITS HAPPENING
So Kuon appears before Hyde on his quick little shopping run, only to give him some cryptic bullshit to consider. Hyde definitely doesn't sense Kuon's will to fight and indeed, the latter only directs him to go investigate a certain building before he promptly disappears. Hyde can't stop himself from checking the location out and stumbles upon some private property. As he's eyeing and guessing at how this must be the enemy's hideout. As he ponders whether he should try and solo their asses. Enter Hilda who notices someone loitering outside and she asks him what he meant when he muttered Amnesia a few seconds ago. Hyde tries to play dumb and Hilda teases him a bit before confirming herself as Paradox.
All I know is that the Hollow Night takes place every full moon. Maybe the few phases before it start causing an effect before the actual Night hits?
Hyde tries his best to remain anonymous and unaffiliated and as he tries to leave the area, Hilda invites him in the building.
There doesn't seem to be a time Hilda is having a party
Trying to do 6c, H B+C, 22a into 6b is some tight as fuck timing for Wagner.
Surely nothing can go wrong.
So Hyde actually enters Hilda's lounging room where he confirms that he's aware of the Yato and Linne being around the area. Hyde tries his best not to crack and after Hilda is done talking, he stands up and declares that he'll bring her down with his power but the Insulator doesn't manifest at all and Hilda was aware of who he was the entire time and the room they were in suppressed his power. She seemed to have been testing him. Half of this is an interrogation while the other half is Hyde trying to not lose his cool. Hilda surprisingly lets him leave. Hyde returns home, the waiting duo already ate without him, and he shares what happened. Linne doesn't seem mad, seeing as though he came back alive.
I'm in a rush if you can't tell
He could've joined up with Hilda and gotten some mad pussy.
Who is that? Kuon?
Something happening user?
