The fuck are you saying? Your post is just incoherent mumbling.

THAT WE GOT THE TRUCK

sage and reported. Hope mods delete this thread

Everyone back to the base.

alrighty den

>announching rebort
:^)

Pyro seems to be as beneficial to the team as ever

so are these threads just a last effort to revive tf2 discussion?

Honestly what's taking so long to drop the update let alone even give info about it.

You guys wanna hear a really funny joke?
Soldier takes skill.

it's doing a pretty good job.
lol

t. pyro main

Didn't notice this thread, rip random page 10 thread
How do I stop sucking/play medic better?

>someone says MEDIC
>they're clearly low on health
>you heal them

>not have internet for a month
>still not out
Back to bed

can't figure out how to get around airblast?

>find someone with unusuals/strange killstreaks
>heal them
>keep healing them
>win because you're clearly healing the best player on the team

Everyone back to the base, pardner!

Bump your teammate's health enough to survive a headshot/pill

But airblasts counter rockets though, so why would a pyro main be annoyed with soldiers?
Would it be because the only two soldier "counters" are more difficult than playing soldier?
It's almost like soldier is really simple and easy to play outside of high-level comp or something.

Google critheals and heal orders if you actually want to play lobbies, use nothing but crusaders crossbow and stock or kritz later, focus on staying alive at all times and always specifically focus to avoid sightlines. Have an escape in mind every position you take up and prioritize your own life over anyone elses, without neglecting the players of course, only leave if you are sure you will die

>ruining ambassador and guillotine

I never want this update to come out

>suggesting anything but stock loadouts only
go away f2pbabby

Headshots with the Crusader's Crossbow can apply Overheal

Y/N

>buffing medic even further
fuck no

Sounds neat, but isn't really necessary since the crossbow is already arguably a bit overpowered.

Where did I imply that?

Pyro doesn't counter nor it's harder to play than Soldier. It's just a shit class

How do I stop being headshot by hacking-level accurate snipers?

Find a heavy and crawl up his ass; alternatives include soldier or demo.

>not playing scout
HAHAHAHAHAHA

Headshots with the Crusader's Crossbow can apply Overheal, grant target a 2 second speed bost, and 0.5 seconds of Uber

solider is the ultimate no skill tryhard class

What if we made the Dispenser a backpack

What if we gave the Sentry wheels and let the Engineer ride around the map

Kritz has a place in even competitive play

Crossbow is better than syringe gun in pretty much every situation retard

>Pyro doesn't counter nor it's harder to play than Soldier.
So the soldier has even fewer counters than I thought?
Wow, you're really selling me on the depth, complexity, and airtight balance of the soldier class.

>valve
>fun

>giving up the most broken thing to ever be introduced to tf2, invulnerability, for more crits
lol. there's a reason why the quake tf and tfc medic could only heal in melee range, and were an offensive class that applied AIDS people and not a long range invulnerability class: because it's completely and totally broken, which is why airblast had to be added (pyro never had that shit either)

Literally stop walking in front of sightlines, hug a wall and utilize the healbeams very liberal distance leash by staying further away from the player you are healing

go away f2pbabby, original TF players are talking here.

>Turning the Engineer into Lucio
Mite b cool

What does having counters have to do with depth or complexity? You're not making any sense dumbass

It gets uber faster than stock, if you rollout with it you can kill the other medic before he has with some communications and if that works completely shut the enemy team down. You have clearly not played formats other than casual

That's not an argument stupid
No one gives a shit about your e-peen

why is it that the furry pound is one of the only few vanilla community servers left like wtf

QWTF and TF2 are great

TFC feels like a fucking alpha

It was filler anyway

>try playing Medic
>everyone on the team is a fucking potato, no one spy checks, and there are 5 snipers on the team not doing shit
I wish I had friends to play with.
Has the amount of new players increased lately or what? More than half my team in the last 5 rounds I had were potatos with generic, BR names and no cosmetics.

didn't mean to quote

Do you think you're impressing the oldfags by bringing up a game that's completely irrelevant to the discussion? No one cares if you've played it, just as no one cares about your opinion in general when you're blindly discarding stuff on the grounds of not muh vanilla.

NO HEROES and (-TN-) aka Top Notch servers are vanilla as fuck and are constantly full. Granted you get nothing but jaded, 6,000+ hour tryhards who force you to play 100% optimally or get steamrolled instantly.

It was their master plan

Reminder that the TF2 10-year anniversary is in October, so it would only make sense for Valve to save their "biggest update ye t" for that date. These threads are just a bait for TF2 discussion at this point.

At that point just simply don't play medic, you will end up playing a better supportive role with heavy and sandviches at that point. Either pocket the best player or switch to something else as even the best medic is a wasted slot if your team isn't making great use of him

>You have clearly not played formats other than casual
well no shit, tf2 "competitive" is a joke. quake tf was 32v32, tf2 is 6v6 which is pathetic when the game is ten years after qtf.

GOTTA MOVE THAT one Engineer webm UP!

What are the best domination lines?
>Here lies scout, he ran fast and died a virgin.

>What does having counters have to do with depth or complexity?
Lacking proper counters is part of why the Soldier doesn't really have to think at all about who he's fighting or adapt to the playstyles of different classes in most situations. If you're up against a scout and he knows how to dodge rockets, use a shotgun. That's it.
The rest of the time you can just spam rockets at feet/corners/chokepoints and get free kills.
There's nothing complicated about being a pubstar soldier.

Ok

>quake tf was 32v32
Proofs?

Quake TF was a fucking mess, some classes made others obsolete.

'Welcome to the United States of YOU JUST GOT DOMINATED' is elder god-tier

>just like tf2

>If someone's on or near full overheal and they aren't charging into enemies, heal someone else.
>If you're ubering someone and someone else calls medic, stay on the person you've got ubered unless the coast is clear
>If there's a bunch of people around you on critical health, heal them all to about 140-160 before you finish healing anyone. This way if someone shoots a rocket or pill at your group at least a few people will probably survive
>Keep a decent distance behind whoever you're healing but don't stay too far back - If you get killed by a spy it'll be easier for your teammate to notice
>Remember who you've ubered and how they acted while ubered. If they don't go ham, or try to do meme kills with their melee weapon, uber someone else next time.
>If the enemy medic pops an uber, keep an eye on your teammate's health. If it looks like he might die, pop your uber - each second you delay your uber is a free second of damage on the enemy medic and his mate.
>It's better to pop uber early than to die with 100% uber
You are now better than 98% of medics in pubs.

Find a pocket, use the vaccinator

>>If you're ubering someone and someone else calls medic, stay on the person you've got ubered unless the coast is clear
>Not ubering both
plebeian
