Have you ever lost a video game
Have you ever lost a video game
I asked to borrow a game from my friend and then someone broke into my house and stole it, if that counts.
Some kid stole my copy of Ocarina of Time in middle school. I had lent it to another kid in exchange for Perfect Dark, we swapped them back, and some urban youth took it out of my backpack. I cried pretty hard.
>near the end of middle school
>new DSi with carrying case of DS games I've accumulated over the years, IIRC some dozen games in there
>waiting outside school to be picked up
>ride finally gets there
>get home and it's not there
>get ride back to school
>gone without a trace
The worst part is having no one to blame but yourself.
I lost my copy of Chain of Memories as a kid. I never got to finish it which sucks, fun game.
About 15 games from my xbox collection. All I have are the cases. I'm still pissed I didn't go get them back from the kid who stole them.
I gave a Prince of Persia Sands of Time guide to a friend and his mom threw it away.
Plague Inc. I literally cannot win the game in any scenario, even on fucking casual difficulty.
>3 day summer camp in 6th grade
>For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to bring my Playstation 1 and a few games to play during my stay there
>Group of 5 kids are given 1 room each, grouped with 2 of my friends and 2 other guys from the same class that I never talked to
>There's no TV in the room, so I brought my PS1 for nothing
>Spend the first day doing summer camp stuff
>The next day, notice some of my games and memory cards are gone
>Ask roommates if they knew where they went, no one knows anything about it
>Wait till everyone left the room, went back and checked their bags one by one
>Found my games and memory cards inside one of my roommate's bag
>Ended up confronting him about it, claims those were his games and memory cards that he also brought
>It's obviously a lie so later at night I took all my stuff back, stuffed them inside my bag and hid it away
>Thankfully when morning came, it was time for us to return home, so he probably didn't have any time to steal my stuff back
So yeah, I was pretty damn close to losing my games, thankfully I got it back before it was too late.
nigger hate thread?
Two copies of Silent Hill. I lost this shit as an adult, like a decade after buying it the first time. Just opened the case one day and it was gone.
Bought another copy from a flea market. Also disappeared. I just bought a digital copy this year, I'm not going through that shit again.
What's with you lately, user? This isn't Sup Forums, you can't just start one of those at random.
My GBA SP, with a case, MMBN3, and Golden Sun 1 and 2 are lost somewhere in my house. Haven't seen them in years, pretty sure they're in a stuffed closet.
Don't remind me
No, but I essentially stole a bunch of N64 games from a rental shop as a kid.
they went out of business and jumped ship overnight. Because of that, I could never return all the overdue games I rented
I cant remember large chunks of my childhood
spooky.
I can't find any of my Emperor: Battle for Dune or Red Alert 2 discs other than the install ones. RA2 is not a problem because I later ended up buying The First Decade but I would like to kill more Atreides.
Only once. Let a friend of mine borrow my gameboy advanced with a copy of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
Later that day on the bus he told me it was stolen, and he couldn't do anything about it.
I knew he was the one who actually didn't want to give it back, so I basically just pretended to believe him. He was from a poor family.
You sound like a less severe reverse version of the pineapple man.
You're in one of those families that has a huge really messy house that you've all lived in for the last 12 years and no one cares to throw away/sell/organize all the huge amounts of useless shit you've collected over the years? Trashy but somehow Kinda wealthy
Nope, poor as fuck, closet is just too small to house all the clothes because no one ever throws anything out.
Glad to hear. I'm sorry about money
Oh and it's only clothes. We always just repair or take apart old clothes plus all the stuff dragged home from the thrift store. The GBA was $5 at a garage sale plus the games.
Thanks user
I'm pretty happy overall though, I just repaired the circle pad of my broken 3DS with some glue and don't have to bother looking for the GBA now.
Never.
I don't lend games to niggers and I don't let niggers in my house.
lost a bike, learned a life lesson
not him but can you post pineapple man for me? Its one of my favorites
lost my Pokemon Sapphire for like 8 months. Finally got fed up with not having it and turned my room completely upside down to find it. It somehow got on the floor under my box spring (didn't have a bed frame at the time). Turned it on and my battery had run dry. Feelsbadman. It still held a save fine but it was just such a shitty feeling that it turned me off of playing it for a few more months, kek.
This one?
>Be 11
>At a book store for a Pokemon Card Game gathering
>A couple of little loud niglets are running around the place
>Brought my yellow Gameboy Color
>The event is over
>I sit down on a bench in the store
>Sifting through my backpack for something
>I take my GBC out and put it right behind me
>See the little niglets running around still, they are the only ones left there aside from me
>Focus my attention back on my bag
>Turn around for my GBC
>It's gone
Sorry kid, that's the price of multiculturalism
...
why didn't you go ape?
Because the niglets weren't there anymore. Along with my GBC.
In grade school my classmate had borrowed my copy of Tomba 2 and had it for so long he claimed it was now practically his property.
I went crying about it to my big sister, she got mad and went to get the game back.
I always figured that if I meet that guy in like a class reunion (which I doubt I'd even be invited to) I'd tease him about it, but I heard his mom died recently of a sudden stroke so maybe I won't fuck with him.
are you literally retarded
Class reunions have really fucking lost meaning if people seriously don't get invited to them just because they used to be unpopular. Every fucking loser was invited to ours. Some of the losers even popped up. They seemed okay after 20 years or so.
Drawn to Life. Still sad I can't find it
Yes, when I was little I lost my copy of Spiderman for GC, Sonic Advance, and The Cat in the Hat for GBA. Also my brother lost Paper Mario, Dr. Mario 64, Mario Party 3, and Primal Rage SNES.
Some kid on the school bus stole my gameboy with pokemon still in it.
Found my ps2 but can't find half my ps2 games like Ace Combat 4, 5, 0, and Silent Hill 2 n' 3.
Not the the game, but I lost the manual to fragile dreams. I'm debating on buying the game again just to have it, it was a neat manual, made it look like a journal you keep during the post apocalypse.
fuck off. like im supposed to fully read the OP. bull-prepping cuck
does losing an account in a mmo that i've been playing for 5years count?
sure, but that one might've been for the best
I was talking about the game
I've played it through a few times, you have to be monkey-on-a-typewriter-typing-shakespear levels of stupid to not win
Junkie sister sold every game I owned when I went off to college. Years later she sobered up and gave me a bunch of SNES sports games to make up for it. No SNES, though.
Some of the crackheads across the street nabbed an amazon order of mine off my fucking porch because the faggot deliveryman doesn't fucking ring the goddamned bell ever. Amazon was pretty good about replacing it, thankfully.
Are you retarded ?
