Final boss is you from the past

>final boss is you from the past
>first boss was you from the future

These threads are NOT FUNNY

>You are you from the present

That's retarded. If you kill your past self you'd cease to exist and if you killed your future self would you really grow up to be a villain, knowing that your past self is gonna kill you?

>you end up being the villain and stuck in an endless cycle where you destroy the universe time and time again through your actions in an attempt to save the world

>2nd last boss did literally NOTHING wrong

Name ONE games that does this

>2nd boss knows she's the bad guy

I don't know the full name but it has "no time to explain" in the title.

So you don't kill the past version of yourself, and he goes on to over the course of the game realise that his initial convictions were wrong.

"no time to explain" actually IS the full title lol

I wouldn't count on that.

Okay so you only beat up your past self to steer him to the right path or whatever but why would you ever fight your future self?

Because at the start of the game, you were the villain the whole time, but never knew it.

>You are the Final Boss
>NPCs from the game have to try and stop you.

Because he also has an opposing view from your current self.
However I think this would be better played if the "future" you was in disguise and that the first boss being yourself is a twist.

>you were you in the past
>you are you in the present
>you will be ____DEAD____

>each enemy in the game is actually you from a different timeline
Fucking blew my mind when I first played it.

is that a jojo (jojo's bizarre adventure) easter egg?

which game does this?

999 in a way if you think about it.

don't think there was ever another game like live a live

Sup Forums would hate any game that actually did that constantly posting muh ebin twist and pointing out every paradox and plot hole it creates as a flaw non stop.

FF1 kind of does.

doesn't that just mean you've gotten weaker throughout the game? unless the first boss was a paper mario 64 scripted loss type deal

>final boss is the real protagonist

Fuck off, jojobronies.

>final boss has no weakness

What makes you think I'm a "jojobrony"?

>first boss is last boss

>Several male bosses and one female boss
>All the male bosses get killed but the female boss is spared

You bring up jojo where you shouldnt.

But I haven't even mentioned JoJo.

If he really did nothing wrong he wouldn't have tried to quick draw with Johnny.

It's very clear from his actions that he is not a man of his word and that he probably would have betrayed and killed Johnny had Johnny actually reversed the infinite spin effect.

Valentine was a slimy piece of shit, but he was good at convincing people he wasn't.

Reminds me of the first Spellforce with that stable time loop screwing over the main antagonist. Fun times.

Naw son,
The you from the future comes to kill the you from the past because you made a catastrophic fuckup, and destroyed the world or some shit, only way to save it is for you to die.
your past self kills your future self, and the world is doomed.

Is this a jojo reference?
memes aside, i think that time loops things are overused nowadays and are rarely done well

earthbound you fucking idiot

kessler from infamous 1 is actually you from the future
I'm sorry trish ;_;

Still fucking mad

I'm still but mad that they couldn't keep the tone and theme from infamous 1. I wish we had gotten closer to morale choices sticking to the morale part. And more time travel fuckery

I have a legit question.

Is it actually possible to meet yourself if you decide to travel in the future ? Since you leave the past timeline, you are technically nowhere in time until you reach the future.

>final boss is your brother
>it has to be this way

>Final boss is your past experience
