So I just finished playing through no more heroes 1 and 2.
Took me about 30 hours for the first one because fucking getting everything is tedious and about 9 hours for the second.

And I gotta say, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ENDING?
What happened?
At least in the first one there was a joke about how it's not gonna tie the loose ends because fuck you, in the 2nd it just felt like they actually run out of development time by the end.
Why was Sylvia talking to Travis on the phone the whole time?
Why did she drop him off after Bat?
What happened to Henry?
What happened to Shinobu?

I mean fuck me, where the hell is the next game, this is some of the most infuriating shit I've ever seen.
I did enjoy this though, definitely a good ride, even though the gameplay kind of sucked.

So, no more heroes thread I guess?

DS version is best version, adds more tracks and the puzzles are better with the touch screen, also you have some nice shit like costumes.
And you can find it DIRT CHEAP online for literally 2 bucks. 2. Bucks. I'm not joking.

Suda games seem to never catch a break with that.

It's an intentionally kitschy parody of bishonen anime adventure which in itself is a parody of traditional samurai/cowboy spaghetti yarns of old. Multiple levels of kino.

The point is this type of game doesnt adhere to the standard mode of storytelling.

I always thought the gameplay in this was reminiscent of dark souls , and I mean yeah all memes aside it really kind of is.
You lock on, wait for them to attack, hit them back, roll away and repeat.
I guess 3d zelda games did that too but they also basically inspired the souls gameplay.
