ive never played any but my friend is really into them. he's brought up the customization options before randomly. pretty sure he just made some basic jerseys, but he'd get a real kick out of that pic.

the cool part about it is that you can be a shit creator but still have access to a library of custom jerseys/logos/stadiums from other users by using keywords

Is the game play actually good? Last NBA I played was 2k3. EA sports games are always filled with terrible gameplay and controls to go with dated graphics. How is 2k any better?

they also revolve around the gameplay too instead of relying on filler and fetch quest shit. The irony in all of this is that Sup Forums thinks sports games are for casuals but yet they actually have a steep learning curve to git gud. Instead of them being dumbed down every year like franchises in other genres they become increasingly complex in a good way.

gameplay is the best part and the animations and graphics are legit great

There's sliders. You can play it as a fun arcade title with quick gameplay or shift it to a grind it out realistic simulation. There's also shit like wacky neon courts and street ball.

start practicing solo at empty courts, get comfortable with dribbling/handling the ball. Then move onto pick up games in your area. If you want to start watching ball again and you're from FL then just watch your home town Heat.
