>He bought

>He never learned his pronouns

What's wrong with that, you dork?

>What's wrong

>not pirating your SSD

Have fun playing the newer Total War games without one.

You'd be surprised.
>Play shitty Korean F2P space combat MMO
>Maps are separated by warp gates, so there's a loading screen as you warp
>Takes 20 seconds to load a map on HDD
>Takes 3 seconds to load a map on SSD

>Chase someone through warp gate
>Fly in gate 5 seconds after him
>Appear in next map 12 seconds before him
>Fly behind warp gate and ambush him

>he's poor

This thread was not meant to be.

>he has money

with a ratio of 4 (you)'s / 22 minutes, in other words 0.19 (you)'s/ minute, I can only give you 1/10 for such a low performance. You will have to do much better if you wish to graduate from Shitpost High

>Korean F2P space combat MMO
wut game?

Starcraft Online

I can tell you take your showers at night instead of the morning.

>buy an SSD for faster boot time
>never turn off computer anyway
I-I guess some of my programs start up faster though

Can confirm. Even Shogun 2 runs like a dream.

>He doesn't enjoy a shower after a long day.

>Being a poorfag who can't afford a SSD

>install Total Warhammer on HDD
>40 second load times
>move to SSD
>3 second load times

>building a budget or mid tier gaming PC

Put that 50+ dollars into a better CPU or GPU. Fuck put it into a better Power Supply. 50 dollars goes a long way for a mid tier gaming PC.

>building a high end or tier 1 gaming PC

50+ dollars doesn't mean shit when you're already into the 4 figure mark.

What did he mean by this?

Wether you have a Ryzen 3 1300X ($129) or 1500X ($189) doesn't matter much for gaming.
The shorter loading times and reduced noise by using an SSD are much more noticable.

shut the fuck up. you are an idiot justifying why you are allowed to be angry at two kinds of people.

gosh darnit just quit fucking posting.

I bought one for faster loading times
AND IT WORKS HAHAHAHAHA!

I did, load times in Witcher 3 become almost nonexistent. Feels groovy.

>mfw finished building a mid-range pc last week
>mfw bought an SSD for it
>mfw saved the OS to the partition
>mfw the bootup speed
I've never had a computer that loaded so fast
It's fucking glorious

The best thing is it never gets slower.

>not downloading more RAM

>load times doesn't matter because my time/life doesn't matter

>it actually helps improving the gaming performance
What now, huh?

Programs and ingame level/save/load time is faster.

>Implying is not worth it in MMOs where loading faster is an advantage when it comes to picking stuff.

>console players spent 50% of their time looking on loading screens
>no point of speeding those on pc, becouse you are used to long loading times.

S-shut up user, mine is coming in the mail today. It should help to get more frames in GTA online

this user gets it. you arent apart of the pc master race unless you can run everything at high-ultra. theres no fucking point in having a pc if you can barely run medium just get a fucking console.

>he purchased a GPU that costs more than $300
>all he plays is Valve games and Sup Forums trash like PlayerUnknown Battleground

>bought an i5 7500
>tried to run Windows 7
I DIDN'T KNOW OK? I DIDN'T KNOW!

Nah, I bought an SSD because my computer doesn't have an on button.

Still works fine asshole, don't fall for Microsoft's lies.

yea people already said it but an ssd is a huge upgrade if you play mmos and a good thing to buy to speed up boot times

wat

It doesn't
Every time I try to check for updates I get a great big message on the screen that says 'This hardware does not support this OS'

Those are the lies, user. The OS works perfectly. MS just blocked W7/8 Windows Update on current gen Intel stuff to try and force people towards W10.

So I have to go to the microsoft website and download every single update manually?
That'll take days!

Googling things is hard. There's other workarounds too, like replacement updaters.

My monitor occasionally fails to re-awaken after my computer has gone to sleep, so I have to reset it. I don't have an on button, so the only way I can shut it down other than doing it through the menu is by hitting the switch on the PSU, which isn't ideal. In order to avoid my monitor being unable to reconnect, I have to shut down the computer any time I leave it for more than a few minutes, so having an SSD is helpful because I can re-boot very quickly.

Thanks user
I don't like to use Google or any other search engine much these days except for the most generic possible inquiries

wat

>CURRENT YEAR
>his OS and common software isn't running on a SSD
Pleb.

SSDs are so nice

On buttons are for plebs.

Okay, how does this work?
Do I just need to download the wufuc or do I need to download the Advanced installer as well?
And when I do, how do I implement the fix?

I take one at night but I also work nights. Is that the same as showering in the morning?

You click on the link where it says 'latest stable build' and then you install it.
This is not rocket science.

Sorry user but you know how every once in while you meet a complete technological retard
So which of these do I need for Windows 7 64 bit home premium?
>wufuc_setup_x64.msi
>wufuc_setup_x86.msi
>wufuc_v0.7.1.81.zip
>Source code (zip)
>Source code (tar.gz)
And how do I install if exactly? What programs do I need?

x64 is the 64 bit build. So that's the one you want.

They do deteriorate, but it requires years of heavy rewriting.

Has AMD announced their Vega shit yet? What is taking those kikes so long? I need a new cheap GPU already!

>he bought a M.2

>he bought SSD so he can pick any class he wants before anyone else even loads the map
Literally me.

is this a good deal on a HDD since ssd doesnt matter? about to buy this since itso n sale

>wake up
>turn on computer
>go wash teeth and make breakfast while computer is booting up
>buy SSD
>never wash teeth or eat breakfast again

>buying mehanical HDD's over a TB

never ever

>wake up
>cant wake up

...

>He embed all his sheets with sweat and dirt

I've had a 4tb hard drive since 2009 though and it still works.

Actually brit

I actually got mine just for my OS and the 4x faster bootup makes it worth it

I bought one, 8tb Red inside.
