This, I had so much fun with this shit.

I don't think Persona 5 has any major flaws, and the flaws it does have are easily made up for by everything else. Automata isn't really a platinum game, it's a Yoko Taro game. It's a huge step up gameplay wise from the original Nier, and that's the only comparison that really matters.

It's not like Drakengard is a good game. The only thing it has going for it are the characters. Drakengard 2 even manages to fuck that up.

Haven't played Drakengard 3 though. I enjoyed both Nier games though. Though I wish Automata didn't fuck up the fishing.

On the one hand, the combat is "mash X and Y to win", the world is bland and empty, the missions are dull fetch quests, and the PC port is a complete mess.
On the other hand, 2B has the most amazing ass and thighs ever and I can and will spend hours running myself raw as I make her climb a ladder with a low camera angle.
So yeah, 10/10 GOTY.
