>never been explored well in a sandbox game before
>makes sense to loot and kill people in the streets
>NPC's in the game will do the same to you
>attracts controversy and therefore, sales
Amsterdam
London, Hong Kong, New Orleans or Vice City.
My ass
Dubai
I would like a Chicago prohibition mafia gta, but I doubt it'll ever happen now that 3 and 4 were about the mob
how much room you got in there?
Ruckersville, VA
A nonspecific Texas state right near the boarder so you can jump it and run drugs in Mexico and Texas.
Dubai.
Chicago.
TEXAS
>state
city*
AUSTRAILIA
GTA giant snake edition
A modern Vice City that's all super corporate like post-cocaine cowboy Miami sounds pretty rad.
My ass.
Some Eurostani country with their stupid tiny cars, unarmed cops, and legalization of drugs and prostitution.
Just for a change of pace.
Hongkong
Vice City
Texas or Chiraq would be good
Syria
Any city. It really doesn't matter.
a modern la noire would be cool
Liberty City
London
No it wouldn't.
The setting was the only good thing about this game.
Who cares? It will just be a gay psuedo MMO.
gta6 should be a futuristic cyberpunk game that takes place in the center of a black hole where you cant see or hear anything
1975 London, as the acid wave was beginning to crash.
>Mfw imagining the vehicles and soundtrack
And they'd still make a fortune from selling sharkcards. Brilliant.
new orleans, maybe somewhere in spain, or someplace with favela type slums.
I think those have potential that we haven't really seen.
why can't we have a really good detective game? are the sherlock holmes games decent?
Maybe not VI, but there should be one in Rio se janeiro/sao paulo fusion city.
>Coast
>Mountains
>slums/modern city contrast
>high crime rate
>jesus with football ball as symbol of town
and just add orange and green as main colours of game and here you go,
My ass
Montreal or Toronto. Especially with all the leaf tease in GTA V.
Mein arse
This would actually be good for GTA, now that they have a multiple characters system. Have one be a classic GTA crook, the other a policeman or detective. Shit from one affects the other.
I would pay to play that.
Wasn't more or less that actually planned for the single player DLC that never got released?
Modern day Chicago. If its going to be Vice City then it better take place in the goddamn 80's like the last one.
toronto
NYC in the 80s.
VIce city
You his know that's going to be the title
>jesus with football as symbol of town
I need this in my life.
People saying another vice city 80s game need to leave
Kabul
GTA and rockstar in general only know how to make games that railroad the player in terms of story pretty hard. it would be neat, but I don't think it would ever work with that dev behind the wheel.
I didn't really like the three characters thing. It was pretty obvious Michael was the main character, which limited the other two.
this
Atlanta so you can say trap squad fleek in game
...
I hope the next one is more like IV than V
That is a great idea.
Detroit
I'd take IV gameplay with a vice city aesthetic, that'd be comfy as fuck
San Fierro with snowy mountains arround the bay.
it probably will be Atlanta. Everything is filmed there now days and it's getting more recognition as a city than ever before.
youtube.com
Look at all the material Rockstar can use with GTA VI: Detroit
Ming dynasty era Singapore
No it's not
>Wanting GTA6 when R* haven't released the San Fierro/Las Venturas expansions
Annnnny day now
FPBP
TOKYO pls rockstart, ill even buy it
inb4 weeb
i don't know shit about Atlanta, what's special about it?
t. yuropoor
This is the only answer.
would the protagonist be with or against the yakuza
Pls no, japan is a crime free paradise and the yakuza is mainly white collar crime
Yeah, I think I like GTA IV slightly more than V. Not by much but still. IV was so fucking comfy. And there were so many missions to do. And it actually felt like I was progressing towards the top when Niko started in the slums and slowly worked his way to the more affluent areas.
And you could do certain missions in a different way. Like when you have to kill that lawyer during a job interview: you can shoot him and then shoot your way out OR knife him, break the window, jump out and run away without being noticed.
Also, we need to be able to buy houses in single player. Not apartments. Houses.
nig-nog hollywood
>series about american culture
>set not in america
retard
Detroit obviously.
against yaks, bringing good old-fashioned crime to japan
Miami is dull . It has to be Las Vegas. There is so much potential with the the strip and all the attractions. Plus the desert with area 51. It would all look incredible fully recreated in HD. That has to be appealing to rockstar
Anywhere City. And bring Claude back.
for a modern setting, I'd have to agree that Vegas would be god tier and no doubt there's much more to do with it than modern day Miami
i'd still kill for a HD universe 80s Vice game, though
Monte Carlo
>there's much more to do with it than modern day Miami
what's interesting about modern day miami? im not very knowledgeable regarding burgertowns
Las Vegas
fookin' birmingham you silly cunt
>implying GTA VI will ever happen in a GTAO world
l-oh-fucking-l
Be honest, Americans, could you handle a GTA game set outside of the USA? Even if you could, do you think the normie at work/school who only plays GTA and COD would be happy with a game set in say, London with a British lead? I doubt it.
Regardless of the area, I want properties like VC, but expanded even more. It was so disappointing when V had properties, but they were completely useless and a complete waste of money.
Retirees and cuban cumdumpsters aren't that interesting user.
Vegas is just a few buildings in a desert. Vice City would have a modern city + suburbs filled with mansions + Everglades + possibly small Cuba across the water.
>a few buildings in the desert
Nigger have you been to vegas? Obviously not
Agreed, I think VC was the only GTA game that I found money being an issue in (first playthrough, anyway) even if only because properties like the Malibu were 100k+
Guy who used to work at Rockstar said that it's one of these:
>Small town - tight stories, scheduled characters, ridiculous levels of ambiance, every home interior modeled. Every building enterable. More realism - if you're wanted you are on the run for a while
>Vegas 1970's
>Somewhere snowy - Chicago/Detroit
>Mexico City
Out of those I'd go with Chicago
That shit hole needs a nuke, not a popular game set there.
Well that all depends on what properties you buy first, you'll never have money issues if you buy the car dealership first then source all the cars.
did u forget how terrible the driving felt in IV ?
>Vegas is just a few buildings in a desert.
Miami is just a few buildings on a beach. LA is just a few buildings in a desert on a beach. New York is just a few buildings by a river.
I'm having vague memories of being a taxi driver and garbage man/pizza delivery driver just to make ends meet. Also driving up to the military base on my little pink faggio and causing havoc. Good times man.
>faggio
why u gotta be so homophobic user
>a game set in say, London with a British lead?
You mean like GTA: London 1969?
In all honesty, though, I don't think they would set a new game in Britain simply because the devs are British and outsider-perspective cultural satire has become a huge part of the series.
Tokyo
Unfortunately I think the closest us bongs are going to get to a proper Brit GTA is The Getaway.
They're dead, user.
No reason to release any expansions when they can keep milking GTA Online.
Not that user, but what I remember from Vegas are the strip, the old strip, tourists in hotels/casinos and overworked locals who probably live in a boring suburb. Maybe add some hobo-filled sewers if you want.
Thats not very complex to begin with. But of course the guys at R* would probably work magic with that.
