Is it worth it getting a PS4 yet?
I know that it's a much better console in term of graphics and capabilities but the PS3 still has more games and a better variety of titles. It's also a whole lot cheaper.

bump
Depends how good your PC is. PS3 emulationll be here before you know it. Tough choice if you don't have a good PC though. PS4 has future prospects but currently I think it has like 3 games worth getting
Can we all agree that after using a PS4 controller, using a PS2 or 3 one just doesn't feel right?
>PS3 emulationll be here before you know it.
That seems like an exaggeration
It has lots of great games
Just save yourself the money and buy a DS4 pad and a 1-year sub to PS Now (assuming your connection isn't balls).
The PS4 lineup to date has driven me to the PC. I can't last two dud generations in a row.
Is that ratchet & clank game good?
I'm a poorfag idort. I bought ps4 earlier this year and ice had a blast with it. There's plenty great games. If you don't have a gaming pc and are considering getting one, do it. There's nothing of value with switch, Xbox and nothing of value on the ps3 that you can't get on the ps4
It's still gonna be awhile. Its making pretty big strides recently but its far from being widely usable. They are mostly focusing on shit people really want like Demon Souls and Person 5.
It has good graphics. The gameplay is ok. Don't expect a lot of platformers but a lot of shooting.
>Bloodborne
>Crash
>Ratchet and Clank
>Horizon Zero Dawn
>Nioh
>Last Guardian
>Infamous
upcoming:
>Spidey
>God of War
>Kojimbo's newest
>Last of Us
personally I'd say yeah it's worth it
I really wanna get a PS4 but that lineup only has 1 game worth buying the console for.
>Don't expect a lot of platformers but a lot of shooting.
Thanks I will give it a shot, my fave game was up your arsenal
PS2 ratchet yes
Movie tie-in ratchet, no
OP there's really no point to this thread. You're the only one that knows what games you like. That's really all there is to it. Look at the library for each and then determine how badly you want to play them.
But PS3 has all the Uncharted games as well as Last of Us, God of War, and more Ratchet and Clank games
but you can get the uncharted collection for the ps4 and the best movie in the series, Uncharted 4
I bought a ps4 on prime day like a good goy. Got persona 5 and yakuza 0 with it and honestly I feel like my purchase has already been justified, they are both really good.
>I know that it's a much better console in term of graphics and capabilities
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I got my ps4 for the release of MGSV, that game alone made my purchase worth it
Shadow of the Colossus both looks and runs like complete shit. That stuff is at the very end of Team Ico's shopping list
Depends on what you want to play. I bought it for
>FFxv
>Kingdom hearts collection and eventually kh3
>UFC
>Persona 5
I've had fun with it, but it's mostly my cable machine now as I have Vue
This whole gen is pretty shit in general. Almost 4 years in, and far fewer games overall, almost no good ones, and practically no new IPs compared to this point in the last two gens. Just a bunch of shitty sequels and remasters pumped full of dlc and microtranscations. I'd wait another couple years at this point.
The SotC remake? or the remaster on ps3?
both pure garbage compared to the godcontroller of mankind
It's ok. If you're ok with "xd waky jokes" and no personality at all, then go for it. The game is also pretty easy on Hard.
Top kek
I'm so sorry.
Shadow of the Colossus. The video game.
So the original on ps2 then?
What do you mean? The first 2 hours of MGSV were one of the best experiences I ever had with any vidya
As a person who loved ps3 I would say yes.
I still only have a PS3 and I've been debating on whether or not I should upgrade yet. This gen has been pretty disappointing in terms of games but I really do wanna get my hands on Bloodborne and Yakuza 0. Nioh doesn't look too bad either.
I really think I'll just wait until a new devil may cry is announced, that's really the only thing that could push me to buy this system
How is this meme still going when PS4 has actual movie games like Until Dawn? Uncharted's always been a third person shooter with some shallow platforming. Anyway 60fps & 4>PS3 versions. PS3 still has all the Infamous that isn't Second Son though.
It's not that much cheaper. I'd get a Pro though but that's way more pricey.
>12gb
wat
many PS3 games don't require an install, so 12GB just serves as storage for small updates and the system software. If you actually care about PS3 games you'll want to add a hard drive, at which point the PS3 becomes an even worse value compared to the PS4.
buy a Slim PS3 second hand
It has lots of great games
lol ok
Only a pc cuckold would think PS3 and PS4 are dud generations. Fuck off.
PS3 has better games and free online play so...
That PS3 controller in the OP pic is clearly a third-party knockoff.
this generation isn't a dud for games in general but it has very few worthwhile exclusives
you didn't need to buy a PS4 for it, mate.
do the thumbsticks glow or is that just reflective plastic?
