Is there any reason that Zelda suddenly got her magick powers at the last minute? Does she have the full triforce? Does link or Ganon have any part of the triforce at all?

Zelda's always had plot armor in some form or another.
>is there any reason
The power of love and desperation facing death
>does she have the full triforce
No, she only has part of it
>does link have the triforce
No. He bruteforced the master sword
With that said I have no idea whether ganon has part of the triforce?
you reunited the triforce
She didn't want link to die you retarded phoneposter.
Zelda have the whole triforce, the 3 parts glows
What is your favourite region and why is it Akkala?
Hebra first, Akkala second.
Wrong. If you looked closer one part glows the brightest
link probably still have the triforce of courage then
Does Zelda or link even have romantic feelings for each other? Zelda acts like a bitch to link and link doesn't even talk to her
>That's the power of love~
They clearly get closer through the memories and her diary entries
I'm thinking about getting the WII U version. Does the game really look that washed out?
That's not Gerudo desert
It just depends on the location and time of day how the graphics look
>washed out
Really? The colors burn my eyes most of the time.
Set your settings to full RGB. But don't expect WW level saturation
On a clear day the colors are fine. The problem is that it's often cloudy, and it looks washed out when it's cloudy or raining
Is pretty obvious it's because she opened her heart up to Link eventually.
it was even foreshadowed by Mipha, when she was going to say to think about someone you love when you are trying to focus you efforts on something before she was interrupted.
huh
I never did see the triforce in this game
The atmosphere during rain is fanfuckingtastic though. Especially when it starts thundering
>Need to buy some arrows
>See this guy peddling his wares at a stable
>Ah yes finally
>Talk to him
>Fucker starts pestering me for the gold beetles in my inventory like a filthy beggar
>But I need them for armor upgrades
>Nonstop dialogue boxes holy shit
>Mashing A and B to get through this merciless onslaught of text
>He starts talking shit under his breath about me and how he wants to steal my shit
>JUST SELL ME SOME FUCKING ARROWS JESUS CHRIST
>This happens every single fucking time I want to buy something
>No way to make him fuck off asking for them
Worst incarnation of Beedle. Prove me fucking wrong.
>beat the game
>have all the best armor and shit
>literally nothing to do
>start to notice there isn't anything worthwhile to do in the game anymore
>start new file
>game is suddenly good again
Why is this?
I like how you meet him when you least expect it so no
Akkala is probably the most boring region in the game but damn is it pretty
Post game in BotW sucks dick. I don't know what I expected for a Zelda game desu
I guess i missworded my post. I meant how there doesn't seem to be much difference between the shadows and lighting.
I'm being pretty autistic here i know.
technically it has as much post game as you leave it
with that said there isn't post game if you do all available things before hand
>Kill a Guardian
>Multiple Giant Ancient Cores in the dropped loot
Reminder that this game is objectively good only if you do a armor-less, stamina upgrade only run.
But wasn't he planning to marry a fish?
this is my first zelda game and i'm loving it so far
japan is finally good again
Meh I can be pretty contrasting at times, especially in darker areas. The problem is the game hardly has very dark areas
I didn't increase my hearts until I maxed out stamina. It seemed to have payed off.
Wonder if the DLC will center around finding the full triforce
You're kind of crushing your blacks here
It's an in game screenshot iirc
>armourless
>not tier 2 armour
You just like looking at naked twinks do you?
The game gets so boring with a lot of hearts. The food system is really broken, you can just refill all your hearts instantly as many times as you want. Making a campfire food only run is fun too.
Gotta have a safety net for the causals. I know a friend who almost gave up on the game because he kept dying on the plateau. He only picked it up again when I told him how to use the food system
i'm doing master mode for my first playthrough and having a blast. a goblin bigger than me should be hard to kill with a club, but an arrow to the face does the trick.
I'm pretty sure Ganon has the triforce. How does he get so much power otherwise?
>having a blast
Tell me how. It's annoying how I keep dying in one hit
Should I buy the DLC now? I'm very interested in the sword trials. But I'm afraid the story DLC will suck
On the plateau, just avoid everything.
After the plateau, go grab the 3 pieces of Phantom Armor. Yes, you can get the helm without the Lynel in the colosseum noticing you.
Now you're basically playing normal mode with a few exceptions like the harder trial of the sword, guardian laser patterns, and Calamity Ganon not getting stun locked
Congrats.
Master Mode is pretty lame
This. The floating platforms and scrambled enemy positions is cool though. And guardians are scarier again. But other than that it's meh
Wait.
The trials are excellent, and the "heroe's path" feature is the kind of incredibly useful thing that should get lifted by every dev that makes an open world game from now on.
Those don't cover the $20 price tag however, and the rest of the content in DLC 1 (cosmetic armors, master mode) isn't really worth it.
She's a whiny bitch who literally needed 100 years to get over her ded mom.
I don't think she got over it even 100 years later
This isn't how this works. The marks on their hands showing they have the a piece of the Triforce do this, but when actually using that piece's power, it manifests as a single triangle. Zelda has the full Triforce in BotW.
I haven't played Master Mode yet because i had enough playing Zelda for five months, it was a hell of a game but i'm a little bit tired of it. The extras and the trials aren't really worth 20 bucks...i hope the story dlc is good tho.
Bullshit. This is link's triforce in Twilight Princess. Notice how it's exactly the same as the situation with zelda in BOTW save for the triforce position
Forgot pic
Still haven't had the chance (or the funds) to get my gamepad fixed, but I'm up to the same extreme material collecting in Master Mode. The world reset glitch has definitely made collecting gems and monster parts a lot less time consuming.
There's still a lot of work to do, however.
Mark on the hand showing ownership, brah. When the actual piece is in use it's like pic related.
Nah I prefer Faron as it strikes the best balance of looking nice and having great content. Akkala may look nice, but there's not much in it and it's a rather small area, plus the rain impairs its beauty whilst Faron's jungles are enhanced by it.
What's the world reset glitch?
Also, are you that guy who was collecting guardian parts?
The one Zelda uses isn't solid like that. It's a hologram
How's the fps for you guys? I've been getting one or two significant drops every time I've played it so far.
>first time playing
>going south to Faron
>cross some hills, end up in a fucking jungle
>that section with all the enemy encampments
>Guardians can stagger shots now
It's just barely enough to throw me for a loop every time
Well deserved buff
>he pays for arrows
Just run through Zora River every Blood Moon and you're set for life.
Only significant drop I experienced was the moblin glitch at death mountain
I get horrible stuttering in Kakariko and mild amounts in the other towns. I also get dips in certion regions whilst it rains (most notably in the jungle region), but otherwise fine. I'm playing the wii u version though, I hear switch performance is significantly better.
I hate to say it
but LITERALLY don't get hit
But really, defense helps A LOT
Use defense potions, then when you can upgrade your armor but not past level 2, you little bitch
Looks solid to me.
>What's the world reset glitch?
Look it up on Youtube. Basically, every time you warp to a new location (after performing a series of specific tasks beforehand), most of the enemies on the overworld respawn without the aid of a Blood Moon. This works even with shop items and certain treasure chests, such as those dogs find for you and those guarded by monsters.
Some people might consider taking advantage of such a broken exploit "cheap" or "cheating", but for an avid item collector like myself, it's like a dream come true.
>Also, are you that guy who was collecting guardian parts?
The same.
Doesn't look 3-dimensional at all to me but whatever
Why are you fighting enemies?
Is it my imagination or does the ancient shield have a hidden property making it better for surfing than every other shield? Like its either got a higher base speed or just doesnt get as high a speed penalty from bad terrain
Are there other items that have hidden properties?
>stray arrow stubs my toe
>GAME OVER
It's not your imagination, but I don't have confirmation either.
>thread moves like a snail pace because the game lacks anything meaningful to discuss
And people think this game'll hold interest for years.
Stray arrow? My man the bokoblin archers have like a 5ft cone of vision and if you somehow wander into it they lose aggro as soon as you exit the very small perimeter.
Also the game autosaves when enemies get aggro'd, so the only question is; Why are you fighting enemies? There is literally nothing to be gained from it.
Never felt like this. Maybe it's the terrain?
>snails pace
I mean yeah compare different to bait threads every game has a slow pace. Anyway have a pity (You)
I like fighting them so whatever. I'm also autistic as in I need to clear everything to process
>process
Progress*
Lynels are the best enemies in Zelda. I hope they return isn't the next game
But really though where are the darknuts?
>wanting more humanoids
When will Gohma return?
Zelda has a thing for Link, you can read it on her Diary, but when it comes to Link, we know fucking nothing about him.
How did he felt about fucking anything or anyone?
Even when you get the Zora armor, The King and Sidon tell you that Mipha wanted the D really bad, but we know absolutely nothing of how Link feels about that. In all of the 4 scenes after you defeat the Blight Ganon bosses, Link does nothing but stand still while the spirit of the Champions talk. We don't even know shit about his family or his town in this game.
>I like fighting them so whatever. I'm also autistic as in I need to clear everything to process
I feel you, but you'll get over it once you figure out the combat never improved and is almost entirely optional
yay open-ended game design
Also enemies respawn with the Blood Moon, so clearing is not only pointless but impossible.
The last stage of Trial of the Sword is some of the most intense shit I've ever done in a game.
The final floor when you're charged by a bunch of mounted Bokoblins and a Lynel was absolutely crazy.
Is there any reason to go to Gerudo desert first? I like deserts but I heard the area's boss is pretty hard and the ability you get isn't very good
it's best if you get stasis+ first before fighting it
Not him but I fucking hate the "lock you in and room and you can only progress by killing everything" sections in the previous zeldas so yay for me I guess.
He's a blank slate as usual. He's pretty expressive in this game so I'm fine with him having little to no backstory
If they want to make Link a blank slate self insert protagonist, why don't they offer more options for character customization? Like a creator?
Because Link is already a popular and recognizable character. At least you can dress him up with more shit now
Pretty sure they mention Link father was also a royal gard, and that Link was basically an autist about being a knight and was extremely talented at it. It's one of the reason Zelda hates Link at first, since he's apparently living to his part easily while she's struggling
She's a bitch to him until he saves her from the yiga assasins, then open up about her fears she won't be up to the task until ganon shows up
You could still have a 'standard' Link, one that shows up in all the promo material, and is the default template, but allow you to change stuff about how he looks.
>need 15 ancient cores to upgrade ancient armor to level 3
>need two to make a certain sword for a quest
>have thirteen, never get any after that
They pretty much never drop from guardians.
Judging by how fucking autistic the Zelda fan base is I think everyone will throw a shitfit if you can customize the gender of link
Cores are mostly in chests, no?
Also, could i suggest looking under the labyrinth in akkala ?
So do I, but removing enemies entirely from dungeons wasn't the solution IMO. On a spectrum of good game design, BotW falls on the MMO side of mob design. Just because the old design was played out doesn't by default make the new design good, it's downright pathetic how slow and stupid the enemies are. Damage =/= Difficulty, especially when the game autosaves as soon as you enter an enemy encounter. Nothing to lose, and nothing to gain really.
I know it's an old tune at this point, but the combat is way too basic to not have quadruple the enemy variety the game currently has.
Because Link's design is iconic. I'm not disagreeing with you, but that's why.
I just reload saves and re-kill the Guardians over and over until they eventually drop cores, but my autism permits me to do this without much protest, so I don't know how willing you would be to go through any of that trouble.
most of them are found in chests within shrines, but if you've run them dry, your best bet is grinding walker guardians, so under akkala labyrinth and hyrule field are pretty good spots. Theres also the two in the forest next to Tarrey Town
I mean, gender could be a thing, but I'd just like more appearance options. Turn Link from blonde hair to brown, maybe include a meme pink option. Allow you to change his height, musculature, maybe even age.
Even within Link's design there have been variations. Toon Link is about as far on the opposite spectrum as Twilight Princess Link.
Also, fucking hell. The ability to choose whether Link is right or left handed.
I understand why they made Link a righty in Twilight Princess, but there's no technical reason for him to be one in BotW. If we wanna talk about iconic aspects of Link, that's something that's bothered me, at least a little bit, for years. I always thought it was neat that he was left handed.
So...fashion zelda? I'll roll with it
But if they had no gender and other customization options the backlash would be horrifying. If they had gender the zelda-link and other hetero relationships would open up another can of worms
I guess they don't want to dip their toes in there
Removing enemies from dungeons was retarded, however I'm pretty sure enemies are smarter and attack faster compared to the previous zeldas
