That's a shame, I would've liked to have been able to keep a mine on my trap and use one for combat. Instead they're trading defense for offense with this in-and-out tactic.
Blizzard should really retire this defense and offense hero shtick and just label them all dps.

It's sort of weird how Junkrat is one of a few characters that people talk shit about being easy to spam with and win, yet if I ever feel like playing Junkrat he's almost always open for selection. Why would people rather use a precise shooter like Hanzo than a guy with explosives that actually do pretty nice damage?
