Besides Ghost Rule, I believe they announced there would be further DLC after DX launches.

Tbh I want more Miku games but one that's more versatile than Project Diva. The engine hasn't changed in like a decade and the models all look like complete shit.

No. All those franchises you listed had a game on the vita ontop of stuff like P4DAN, IA/VT and the senran kagura one. For some reason they both got a wave of rhythm games for whatever reason instead of having them spread out during the life cycle of the consoles.

it was made by the original djmax devs after they split from neowiz because they didn't want to stay making crappy phone games, so if you like djmax then i'd say pick up the ps4 version of xonic as it has all the dlc included

It's a DJMAX spinoff, and plays similarly, only using a peripheral UI like P4DAN.
Like Future Tone, it'll ask you to combine different inputs.

My only problem is that the analog prompts share the same screen space as the button prompts, so I fuck up and press a button or use an analog when I should have done the other thing.

i think the biggest complaints about rockband 4 was the set list and no online multiplayer but i think they got back all the rights back to the dlc songs so you probably had a fuck ton of shit to already play

They use buttons on Vita as well, but it seems like touch screen is favored among skilled players.

I can imagine why, the buttons/prompts are bigger on the touch screen and you can have a more secure grip on the vita. Feels like you'd be able to rock it from side to side for spams more easily too. I've played the Diva series on vita but I can't do nearly as much shit on it as I can with a ds3/4.

It's a single player game so it can't be dead. None of the other Diva games got much more in the way of DLC, either. They're likely working on the next game or Dancing All Night 2.
