Sleeping Dogs, 100%
IT'S TIME TO LEAVE THIS AWFUL PLAAAAAAAAAACE
Cool pic of Japan.
Reminds me how I lived there and how I'm moving back next year.
Also try Mizzurna Falls. It doesn't have comfy rain, but it nails the comfy town atmosphere.
This
Oblivion has some comfy rain, especially with mods
Fucking whole thread nailed right on the first post.
YOU COULD WALK FOR MILES AND NOT SEE A SMILE
>tfw gta v has really good rain effects but you basically never see them since it never fucking rains
Fuck, time to pick up Dogs then
Is it good looking, comparing to GTAV for example, with various ENB, texture mods?
I fucking hate this shit in vidya.
I want comfy rain that's immersive, not the five seconds of rain and then back to the bland open-world.
forgot picture
>reddit weather
Reddit weather is enjoying the sun, user.
Only fucking normalfags enjoy the insufferable heat and having to go outside.
...
GTA V is better looking, but Sleeping Dogs looks more aesthetic because of the Hong Kong rainy streets.
Try to get the original version and not the special edition or whatever. It looks way worse.
Minecraft, unironically.
what's Sup Forums weather? going out in sunny days? ha ha
Starbound or Terraria
I love sitting inside a house I've built while it pours outside
No. Normalfags enjoy summer, redditfags enjoy "comfy" rain and real niggas enjoy a cool air but still clear skies.
>tfw its 1 degree celcius here
Unironically Minecraft
I remember playing when the rain update came out. Thunderstorms were rare as fuck, but they were the comfiest shit.
>The sound effect changes depending on whether you are inside or outside when it rains
Those were the days.
Okay that looks cool as shit so I googled it
youtube.com
Holy fuck, wow
>dat ending
weeb
Fuck off faggot, you sound like a huge normie. Normies like to call random things reddit. Comfy is a Sup Forums thing you piece of shit.
Watch dogs
oh shit, is the patch out now?
OP get PGR4, do a time trial, choose the Nurburgring Nordschleife, choose heavy rain weather or snow, chose your favorite car, and get ready for a comfy, pressure free drive. I used to just cruise around, park, and sway the camera around the environment.
Offical season power rankings coming through

inFamous : Second Son did rain rather well, nothing ground breaking but still
>winter
>only tolerable for a few months
user...
That FOV though
Desu where I live (canada) winter seems like it lasts almost half the year
Did this end up being any good? or a least better than the first one?
As not great as Mafia 3 was, driving through the city or the swamp at night in the rain was super goddamn comfy.
youtube.com
No idea. Sorry, user.
I just saved the webm.
What game is it?
File name says Skyrim, what mods?
>inFamous : Second Son did rain rather well
No. I live there, Sucker Punch did a shit job and they even live here too.
Theirs literally a game called rain.
Don't give a shit, I'm still gonna enjoy it like it's spring
Soundtrack for atmosphere

No. I meant that you should play it in Japanese.
There's a cheat to change weather
Just do it a few times until rain comes on
thunder is also an option
Overall I don't like the game but the single comfiest moment I've had in Sup Forumsidya was in Minecraft. There was a point about an hour in where I'd cobbled together a shitty house and made it safe with a hastily made moat. It was raining in game and that was the only sound effect. It was the first time I'd really felt safe since booting the game up and it was maximum comfy.
Is that Japan? Looks like a shot out of a Tsai film.
This, for sure.
webm.land
So comfy
the homefront sequel
Dolphin has VR support now. I wanna play the Trilogy version with a Wiimote with it
Considering there's the Japanese 止まれ there, it's definitely Japan.
Mafia 1
Such an underrated game IMO
Those vending machines very distinctively fit into my memory of Japan. I'm looking forward to them again. It was great to start a day with a coffee or Red Bull from them.
There's also but I admit I didn't check out the road when I initially posted about it being Japan.
I really liked the rain in Mafia 3
whereabouts did you live senpai? i'm moving to tokyo next year to work in buttcoin
Yeah but it's an embarrassingly terrible game
It looks pretty stupid though. Rain drops don't look like shards of glass.
>Yeah but it's an embarrassingly terrible game
It's really not. The biggest flaw the game has is the pacing yet tons of people hated on it despite not even having touched the game.
The fact that most of Sup Forums thinks that it's trying to push some SJW or pro black agenda says it all.
Previously Tokyo. Moving to Hokkaido next year.
I know Japanese, so that colored my experience. But even if you don't, Tokyo should be 100% fine to live in. There are English signs everywhere.
Realistic mud when?
Looks better in-game.
Horrid game. Watching enemies spawn infront of me.
I just can't get into a game that wants to tell a gritty realistic story about making ends meet, but has over the top action and endless murdering and stabbing and murdering and stabbing... and ubisoft style side-quests.... But idunno... maybe I should try and revisit.
>mud
I met Richard Bartle (he lives stupidly close and I helped film something with him. He is the typical autist atheist you'd expect from leddit.
Uncharted 4
I still think the first one is a straight masterpiece.
What happened to that dumb Sleeping Dogs MMO?
Cancelled.
What
>I just can't get into a game that wants to tell a gritty realistic story about making ends meet, but has over the top action and endless murdering and stabbing and murdering and stabbing... and ubisoft style side-quests.... But idunno... maybe I should try and revisit.
Unlike many games (like Uncharted, Tomb Raider, etc) Lincoln is not portrayed as a good guy. In fact the priest that saved him partially regrets saving him because of him going out on his rampage.
It's debatable which one is "best". Personally I like them all for different reasons. But 3 does shine in the storytelling, same as the other games. It should be pretty cheap too now, so it's definately worth a try. Just don't bother trying to to a bunch of sidequests and stuff, just go for the story stuff and sidequests with story tied to them (like say Vito's).
Cancelled, also the company was shut down so don't expect a sequel anytime soon.
They deserve it for making an MMO. That's nothing but greed.
Im surprised no one has said The Witcher 3.
The buildup to a storm is always fucking great too. It's one of the best games to binge on a rainy day.
The weather effects sucked ass in the actual game, needed to use mods to make them good
K.
The best thing about rain effects in TW3 was how clothes would get wet and torches would often die-out.
stalker
What game is this and who is that lady
Hmm, okay, that sounds really interesting, but for some reason I had a completely different feeling playing the first like hour and a half. I felt like he was definitely portraid as the hero, and not in an anti-hero kinda way.
I'll give it a go, though, ty.
a hero*
I would spoil the story if I started talking about how the story ends and so on. But Lincoln is definately not portrayed as a hero by the end.
Son, i didn't raise you to be a pleb who can't enjoy the cleanliness of cold.
>tfw no rain in Bloodborne
However, if I recall correctly, there IS rain in Xenoblade Chronicles X, another one of my favorite games. Its been a while though
Watch Dogs with some mods/sweetfx.
Watch Dogs 2 also has pretty comfy rain.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. There's even a mechanic where the game makes sure it rains often if you've been playing for a long period of time, for maximum comfort.
...
I'm not really sure what game it is. If only there were a way to puzzle it out.
Yeah the interconnections between different systems is great, but the "biblical storms" we've seen in the trailers were lacking. Purely aesthetic but kind of a let down for those with beefy enough rigs to handle those torrential downpours

Gorgeous
Knox city in Aether Suite, comfy x10 especially because its (almost) totally empty
>totally empty
If I wanted empty, I'd be playing Bethesda games without any mods.
Farcry 2 had cool rain and storms.
Also VTMB: debofnight.andcuriouser.com
I mean empty of other people so its 10x more comfy
What is this? Looks like a generic Ubisoft game.
You mean dead. Dead isn't comfy.
Too bad the game itself is FUCKING SHIT
Nah thats a stupid way of looking at it, empty cities are comfy, you have it all to yourself, anyways the rain is really great in this map
Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Forza Horizon 3 have awesome comfy rain too
>TESV
