Railway tycoon

Did somebody say roads?

TrafficWorlds

Minecraft. Railroad for minecarts.

railroad tycoon

Modnation Racers

this, factorio is excellent for train autism.

I fucking hate the loop Civ V creates on T intersections

roads aren't meant to be built by the government they are private property to be used by individuals. Get this commie shit out of here.

this

Anno

>play Civ 6
>annoyed with districts
>annoyed with the movement restrictions in rough terrain
>annoyed with the policy card system
>install Civ5
>feel joy again

What's the best game for building a city if I don't want the stress of having to manage its resources too?
I'm thinking more like a large virtual Lego display than it is SimCity.

Got just the game for you senpai

Dont expect it to be easy

Wrong, trains and every other form of enterprise should be socialized. Private property is a lie that white devils have forced upon the world

Was gonna say this. You can even set up some logic and have insane automated train systems.

Imperialism series
Building railroads feels absolutely amazing

I want to play this but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.

You are managing your growing colonial empire. Each turn you gather resources and cash from all developed and connected tiles under your control. This guy in a hat builds and improves tiles to gather more resources. You connect tiles with roads or ports which collect all resources within 6-tiles hex around it. But the cost of further upgrades raises rapidly (from 1 to 4) and tiles not connected directly by the roadnetwork to the capital require ports and expensive ships for transportation.

At the start of the game you race into the New World to claim dibs on gold, spices and sugar unavailable in the Old World. Then you use all this colonial goodness to pay for techs and supply better work force with luxury goods to work harder.

From what I remember Imperialism I was more straightforward. It's set in the 19th century and lasts to the WWI.

Victoria 2

It's a game from the age of tutorials. Read the tutorial written by the devs, it explains many things, even what army composition is better for the sieges. Some things may look terrifying at first but they turn out to be very simple once you tried them.

>and supply better work force with luxury goods to work harder

That's like the opposite of what happened in real life.

>That's like the opposite of what happened in real life.
Is it? Europeans became less and less productive as they get more tobacco and coffee?

I'm just gonna be an asshole and say "Factorio" again.
FACTORIO
For a game where railroads are basically secondary mechanics that you technically don't need to even touch to get to the end game, it has amazingly satisfying rail-road simulation.

Play OpenTTD, it's ridiculously satisfying to build rail systems that work right.

>trains

This has to be THE nerdiest hobby I've ever come across. No offence.

>Europeans
>Work Force

user, I...

Tell me, user

Cities Skylines modded is the epitome of road management simulation

Most colonial nations did not use Europeans as their work force. They used slaves, Irishmen (the white version of niggers) and chinks.

>All those faggots in Factorio building multi-lane rails with rails switchers
>"It makes faster train evade slower ones, thus increases throughput."
>Some autist on reddit proved everyone wrong
>lane switchers are useless
>all of my laughts

In this game work force turns raw materials in processed goods to improve buildings, infrastructure, make weapons, ships and fortifications. Are you sure these were built by niggers?

OP you have no idea how much I'm trigered by this, I once spent solid 30 turns destroying and rebuilding roads on a mayor intersection just so it looked right

Which one is better, the original data files or the free replacement?

Civ 5's infrastructure legitimately triggered me. I would spend 20 turns building my pan-continental railway only for shit like OP's pic to happen.
R E E E E

Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe if you want to build massive, finely tuned networks

Transport Fever if you want to jerk off to your trainfu

Yes, much like blacks created the entire infrastructure of the South because whites were too lazy.

Construction and manufacturing was mostly Irishmen and Italians, but those were treated mostly the same as black people until the mid 1900s

Those whips didn't swing themselves

>Yes, much like blacks created the entire infrastructure of the South because whites were too lazy.
This a game about the Old World where the end game goal is to control more than a half of European provinces. America is a source of colonial goods for the empire in this time period.

This isn't a game about proud land of freedom.

...

Whites were too busy breeding better slave stock.
At least Frenchmen were very fond of it.

Me too... maybe after gameplay updates VI will be worth a shit.

I FUCKING LOVE LOCOMOTION

>At the start of the game you race into the New World to claim dibs on gold, spices and sugar unavailable in the Old World. Then you use all this colonial goodness to pay for techs and supply better work force with luxury goods to work harder.

You need to learn how to write, considering this sentence implies that the work force you are trying to supply luxury goods to is the colonial work force.

link? i want to see the salt of laneswitch fags

Learn to read. Nowhere I said luxuries are used for the colonists.

The trains are retarded in it though. They turn back at signals if they're red.
