>There are people on this bery board that left Sandra behind
How do you live with yourself?
Pyre thread
I don't think that's implied in the text. You just can't cross the gate. Plus most people don't know there's anything beyond the sea.
I refuse to believe in anything but that the only people who did not take her are those who forgot to visit the wagon.
This.
What human could be so cold hearted?
>Hedwyn was there and proved to all that he was no deserter. He remained 'til the end.
That line in the final song, plus the fact that his bird waifu flies to the Downside to join him in the epilogue, and his dialogue during the final liberation rite choice, all reaffirm my decision to keep him with the rest of us in the Downside. Would a true master-general flee while his people still struggle and suffer?
But he didn't flee tho
He helped in the revolution and was hailed as Gol Golathanian reborn
He's the one i send to freedom first lel
wonder if Supergiant games have stats on that.
I send the first 3 nightwings to freedom first because i promised to get them all home.
>Say to hell with the promise
>Send them all back up early
>Sacrifice myself
Best choice

Ripfag here. Any requests?
Never to Return dissidents versions
On it
Has anyone made a run where they lose all liberation rites? Does the team start bickering and getting depressed? Do you get an ending where the Plan fails miserably?
I hope they release stats on what people named Chae.
I haven't but someone in the other thread said the Plan still succeeds, but violently.
If you have a 0% success rate the harpies come and massacre the commonwealth.
Well that's kinda dark.
Uploading now, bumping to keep the thread alive
How do the harps even fight. In the credit drawings you see pam has human feet, I went through the game expecting huge talons from how lethal they were described in their war making.
Also how to get Tamitha to resolve her issues with Pam?
I guess Pam can only get a bittersweet ending, she met up with Rukey, was accepted back by her sisters, probably withheld their attack, then continued travelling alone for her life
>Finally finished the game today at 5am
>avoided the massive chain of Pyre threads all week to not get spoiled
>apparently there was a huge shitstorm and the fanbase is already dying out
God damn it, why did you faggots have to burn out so fast, I wanted to read about Pyre all day and everyone seems to have moved to another thing already.

Here you go user
Nothing burned out. The shitstorm never ends.
Yeah threads ran their course. But it lasted way longer than Transistor on Sup Forums.
Jf you want to talk about the game in the future itd probably be discussion of Transistor and Bastion and Pyre in one thread
You mean Rhae?
I named her Bae, I thought it was the most meme one.
It was, that's why it's the worst.
memelords get out
That's not the best choice.
Tamitha only resolves her issues with Pametha after crippling her.
is Jodi a futa?
Sandra>Jodariel>Zhae>>>>>>>>>>>other girls
Bae>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>other girls
why does no one seem to like Celeste? she was pretty hot too
secondary character
begone
Secondary character and apex ice queen but I commend Tariq on his good tastes regardless. She's definitely the most physically attractive character in Pyre. And the scene where he says "Fuck the scribes, I want dat ass" is one of my favorites in the game.
BackThatAssUpAcousticLuteVersion.mp3
nice job user, those guitars are great
>blaspheming at the gate
how lewd
wonder if tariq and sandra ever interacted, they'd get along splendidly
True Nightwings pls
IIRC the True Nightwings version is the OST version, but I'll check later.
Ok, have anyone had a playthrough where you sent everyone but nightwings out. What happens?
Sandra can only interact with one of the Nightwings due to star magic. That's why Bertrude backs off when she can't get her to come out. That's also why she has abandonment issues.
They join Barker's Space Jam league and dominate it because they're the fucking Nightwings.
Could you do the Accusers Version if you have the time?
Thanks senpai
if this game fun if i don't like basketball? is there a gog release?
>Tfw I can't decide whether I like Pyre or Transistor more
>Transistor has that highly customizable meaty combat system and Turn() is awesome
>Pyre has more simple tools like throwing the ball but you can use them in more ways
>Transistor has the older Supergiant story structure which is top tier
>Although there's more reading Pyre's story/gameplay structure does a pretty amazing job of succesfully building up tension for the rites and having the story affect the gameplay (losing characters works great from a story and gameplay mechanic perspective and is arguably pretty top tier itself
>List goes on like this pretty much forever
I've never followed sports and I enjoy it thoroughly. No idea about GoG didn't think to check
Yeah, just checked, True Nightwings is the OST version.
Sure, I have a bit more time. Give me a few minutes.
Is that Conan O'Brien?
>Logan Cunningham
The Barker's league is the single living proof that the Downside isn't nearly as bad place to live as the story makes it out to be. Residents of the Commonwealth must be more coddled than women in the first world.
I want to tame Pamithas ass.
I think being unable to grow decent food, most of the water being poison, dying on the trip down, and it being impossible to make a settlement unless you're a Wyrm or Bog Crone is pretty shit. It's not so bad if you're a Crone or Wyrm, though. If you're human, you're fucked.
Gotta remember Barkers league probably cant run for half the year what with the torrential downpour into snow 1 2 combo.
All that shit was implied but none of it ever happened. Not to you, not to other triumvirates, not to Falcon Ron nor anyone else.
Rons a native. He doesnt choke on the food everytime he tries to eat
Dying didn't happen to them because they're the ones who SURVIVED. Ignoring there are several characters in the epilogue who end up dying.
>none of it happened
>didn't get the scenes with Hedwyn trying to cook for everyone
Did you not get the sequence where from the end of one liberation rite to the end of the next it's lashing it down with rain?
That's like several days where it's raining heavily non-stop over the entire downside.
Kind of bummed out that there is no true/secret ending as dataminers say.
>The eight gave up their freedom so you can yet have yours
I thought there would be an special ending in which you always let the opponents be liberated and your companions become the scribes or something.
meh...
>several days
Several months, you mean.
Sprites getting ripped yet?
The Scribes give zero fucks. The only way the rites are coming back are if you kill the greater titans again. Which shouldn't be hard given one was killed by a pile of shit.
Wasn't that at the point where the rites were happening one after the other?
supergiant loves their bittersweet ends user
personally i think it's a lot more poignant if there's no real ideal ending, makes all the other choices feel more significant
I don't think so. It was like that when I got to the Alcove.
>fail a trial
>her smug fuckingface
>GLARIOUS!

Here you go. I'll be back later tonight or tomorrow for more requests.
Thanks user
How viable is this game for competitive play?
The correct line would be "He stayed true till the end."
we need a Sandra edit of this
local multiplayer only/10
like not at all
I couldn't believe it when the credits said he was the Voice. He sounds so different.
If it was online? There's potential
Potentials never gonna be realized with the local only it currently has
How to Chaos Dunk?
step 1: choose bertrude
there is no step 2
i have no idea what to do with my second playthrough
get oralech to give me his spot so hedwyn can keep his promise
stay in the downside with hedwyn so i can see his waifu return to him, but end up seperating him and jodi?
honestly i have no clue what the good ending is
Send all original 3 up, follow them at the end with Oralech not suiciding. Leave Bertrude, Gae and Ti'Zo in the downside.
>abandoning the cute vagabond waifu
>separating bertrude from the one she loves
>"tizo wants to see the commonwealth someday"
try again
Lose all the liberation rites but had your characters with full enlightment (Titan stars and full mentoring required)
>Bae wants to stay
>Bertrude was rejected and comes to terms with Volfred not loving her that way, also doesn't give a shit about going back
>Ti'Zo and Mae are best friends, he has no experience of the commonwealth and thus doesn't miss it
Who did you abandon then?
bertrude, volfred, pamitha, tizo, and me
i didn't intend for it, it was the best of a bad situation
honestly i think this is actually the best ending - all these people competing for freedom and not letting a single one out seems kinda harsh
pretty much this
bertrude ain't as great as jodi on defense but seeing that "Hex of Victory! +8" after dunking from midfield feels great
sir deluge probably has a bad end if you send him topside though
Legit question: In what way specifically did the Scribes give up their freedom, and why was it necessary?
They did the whole finding Soliam and assembling as the Scribes while blasting the Titans thing. They wrote the book, they crafted the raiments, interpreted the stars and found the Shimmer-Pool, basically setting up all the rites....
And then what? What prevented them from leaving? Were they prevented from leaving? If they weren't, why didn't they leave? And if they didn't leave, why? And was it necessary for them to not leave for all of this to work even though they basically encountered the entire thing with the stars already working?
I don't get how they gave up their freedom so others may yet have theirs.
Didn't they become the stars that guide you in the rites?
Did they? But they themselves were already following all the celestial phenomena going on. Also how did they become stars then?
I think they became the original "readers"
my guess would be that they became the readers for the first triumvirates, so they were unable to leave
But triumvirates don't require Readers to function, and Readers have the ability to leave occasionally.
>letting Tamitha go free
They made/discovered the rites, the first triumverates would have needed them
Through the Titan Stars. Once the Titan Stars went out, they replaced them so people could find the Shimmer-Pool through the Rites.
That still doesn't work, because even if they each became Reader for their own Triumvirate, that would leave one of them (likely the Nightwings) readerless, as there's 9 of them. And the Nightwings were supposed to be better and "shown undue favor" at all times.
The Titan Stars appear over the Olden Stars, not the Scribes' stars. You literally still select the Scribes' stars to go to the rites.
You only got to read because the stars died and the shimmer pool lost it's ability to differentiate between who it sent home, triumvirates don't NEED readers in the same way people don't NEED to drink anything besides water, it's true but water doesn't have vitamin c or caffine.
The Titan Stars black out the sky. That's their thing.
Except the phenomena of Reader's being allowed to leave is written in the book, by the scribes, the Harp scribe specifically, on page 159, "On Legacy". It's not a Deus Ex Machina one time bullshit only in this cycle thing.
That would ruin the entire purpose you retard.
Except the scribes made them disappear so they weren't blacking out the sky. And then because the sky was totally not blacked out and clearer than when the titans lived the scribes had to become stars to guide people? Seems odd.
Readers can leave as the annointed as long as they participate in the Rites.
