What about in DS2

I....liked the way they...ruined Anor Londo?

>deflecting instead of posting examples

Good thread we have here.

wtf? I was just curious.

recently replaying dark souls 2.

just as bad as i remember

>you can see phantoms of all Outrider Knights and Vordt/Dancer during your trip in Irithyll
>wolves in Ariandel sometimes follow invader around
>Midir stalks you near the beginning of Ringed City
>Gael can teleport using big-ass white sign

What are you talking about? I'm asking

there really just aren't any. assuming you know about the 2(only fucking TWO) optional areas then you've already seen everything

>Dude snow londo lol
The whole area felt like a shameless plug in. It had no value at all.

>that random ass crab in the rolling bodies

More like "A-snore Londo-ne in five minutes"

I've beaten the game ten times and went through ng+8 and have no fucking idea what you're taking about as far as vordt/dancer goes

so you're probably lying

You can lead a pig across a map to dig up a pickaxe for you

I think it was supposed to be sad and stupid with only silver knights and nothing of importance left. It's the abandoned home of gods, where the God devourer resides. I just wish it was even more broken and destroyed, not just rotten-like and dusty and with a swarm of slugs.

you can do this

...

They are the last outrider ghosts you see when your getting close to the church of yorshka. Look it up.

Best short sword in teh game

What am I supposed to see here

The two phantoms are Vordt and Dancer. Since outrider knights are turned into beasts eventually, they look very different here.

Hhmm cool. Know of any secret areas in Ds3?

Use Google?

Untended Graves and Archdragon Peak

And Demon Ruins

user, it's by far the least rushed and the one with the most care put into it. It's also the one with the least cut content by far. More thoughts, time and effort have been put into weapon arts than in all of das combat dev time.

Enough with the memes.

untended grave, archdragon peak, demon ruins/smouldering lake, and there a few well hidden mini areas in some levels, like on the bridge with the stone demon, there's a tiny path to go on the other side of the gate and there are a few titanite lizards and some hollow.

Lead a pig across Tseldora for a pickaxe
No death/no bonfire ring reward
Lighting all the sconces in the pit triggers a phantom invasion
After buying a bunch of his shit, talk to the black merchant at 0 souls for a free armor set
There are a bunch of invisible moths hidden throughout the map
The priestess eye you use to reveal the invisible tiger also reveals the phantoms in the shaded woods

There are probably more I'm forgetting

>Untended Graves
This area is cool, i like it cause it's spoopy

>Lighting all the sconces in the pit triggers a phantom invasion
Was this in the original version or Sotf?

>Hey guys, let's talk about Dark Souls 3!
>I HATE IT, THEY RUINED EVERYTHING, IT FUCKING SUCKS!! d-do I fit in yet guys?
Every fucking thread

just go to /dsg/
Sup Forums doesn't talk about videogames

This,

DS2 actually had a decent amount of secrets/Easter eggs, more than DS3 by far. Not sure what you are trying say user.

SoTF.

The Phantom also drops the Black Witch's set .

>Not sure what you are trying say user.
Are you retarded? It's pretty clear I was asking about hidden things in Ds2

Now that I think about it most hidden items/bonfires in the series would be considered secrets in other series. Even something like burning the windmill in DaS2 even though it's almost a necessity.

Anyone else unironically like the underground lava area? It's kinda fun to think how deep underground you are, almost like in hell or something, idk. Food for thought?

bump

...

>the least rushed and the one with the most care put into it. It's also the one with the least cut content by far
>it's nothing like the first images that appeared of the game
>the dlc is 100% cut from the game and sold back to you
>a mirrion unused animations
>they cared so much that the game is one big fucking reference
>more thought went into the copy and pasted weapon arts than the signature combat From would use for the next four games after DeS
You're a fucking idiot drone

Some more:
Tons of invisible hollows in various locations in the game, killing them gives you smooth stones. There's one in the locked room next to Straid's cell
If you kill the two cyclops at the beach (with the gender swap coffin) and then talk to the handmaiden inside the firekeeper house you get a secret (super weak) weapon that gives you +5 to stats
There are some things you can only do or NPC you can only talk to if you're hallow or only if you're human form
The fire that makes you human form without using up a human effigy, but it requires you to do a bunch of weird specific stuff to turn it on

DS3 doesn't really have just weird hidden stuff like this. All DS3 has is very obtuse character quests with poorly placed triggers. You know they just fucked up on some of the quests too because they kept having to patch them and change them (they've changed the triggers for the Unbreakable Patches quest a few times because it bugged if you approached it from the wrong direction)

What?
