Why did the devs think it would be a good idea to turn this game into a rogue-like? When starting a new game, it takes ages to upgrade your character to the point where he can do things by his own, and when you fuck up or die, you lose everything. Worse is that the RNG can make you lose no mather what you do. Terrible game design.

It's broken largely because the moderators are determined for whatever reason to redistribute experience points evenly across the servers, even though most players end up doing nothing but waiting around for levels while the best players are constantly being held back and disincentivized from playing.

Don't try and beat it. Just stop playing it. Your character will get some pretty major stat penalties from the withdrawal symptoms at first, but getting to experience the rest of the main game is definitely worth it.
