uniel pc lobby where
I've been missing thread recently, sleeping too early
lmfao
Too difficult, but too much fun to drop.
>NTRfatman
Messing around with Mika and Wagner. Hyde's on the back burner until I get a new stick. Thinking of trying Nanase again. I'll probably drop Eltnum.
best girl chaos
I guess we will have to wait for the western release.
I don't think I've improved with my Yuzu at all. But I'm excited to make a lobby and play tomorrow night.
Progress is a daily grind, Yuzu bro. Let's git gud together.
I still have trouble doing 236a, dl c, dash b
Delayed C in the air, right? I don't think you can do 5C after 236A without a jump cancel.
I've dedicated myself to learning Yuzu to help you, yuzufag but really to just help myself know how to fight her better
Why would someone play carmine when byakya exists?
Yeah forgot to add the jump
Delay the C as much as possible, closer to the ground. If it's the dash giving you trouble, you can start buffering after the C hits but before you land. What you could try doing is hitting the first half of the dash command (6) after the C hits, then do the rest of dash as soon as you land. Might look something like this: 236A > 9jc > dl.5C(air) > 6(air) > 6C(ground). Only thing I'd add is to use slowdown if you aren't already, and don't panic mash the dash. Once you get the rhythm down, it's actually pretty easy.
Thanks, I'll try doing that.
Weird question but does this version have better visuals?
The game looked ok in previous versions but the backgrounds were bad and honestly a full price revision should have something more than a couple characters..
Where is that image from?
The stages all look the same, so if that's what you care about then no. It has an actual story mode, though.
It has 4 characters, an actual story mode, a fuckload of incredibly good and useful tutorials which includes a bunch of combos ranging from easy to literally optimal and a ton of situational ones and a bunch of other shit. I don't think the visuals were that bad to start with. It's what the game should have been desu.
What about improved animation for the sprites? Melty blood sprites are better animated.
Why would I care about a tutorial.
I'll buy it when it's 20 bucks.
>Why would I care about a tutorial.
I don't think you understand. This isn't some basic beginner's tutorial. It has a BUNCH of shit for basically every skill level.
Sprites haven't been revamped or anything.
>Melty blood sprites are better animated.
Because Melty Blood sprites are less than a quarter of the resolution of UN's. Even with French-Bread's increased budget, drawing these sprites with the amount of frames that Melty's shows off would be insanely expensive and time-consuming.
Currently working on my Seth and Erika on the side.
I assume most people here weren't around for the previous thread. Some data-miners found some stuff in the files
>Kaguya
>Londrekia
>Place Holder character slots for 6 other characters
Carmine looks way more fun
Really? 6 playable characters?
Whatever these placeholder Hydes could possibly represent.
Of course. Dumb nips always leave shit in there for Data miners to find.
>6 new characters
I doubt we will see them anytime soon.
source where
all carmine does is toss out normals and the odd spacing special and then run setplay.exe, while byakuya gets to fly around the screen before setplay.exe
Yuzubros, why is 236A, 6C, 214B so fucking hard!?!? It shouldn't be but it IS for me for some reason. This sucks. I shouldn't be failing it so much.
I just hate Byak, man
fuck byakuya
SHIKI is cooler
>Kaguya
Neat.
Gotta be quick senpai. I don't go back to neutral after 6C and basically end up doing semi-circle back B.
>kag
certainly not what I was expecting desu
lex when?
Apparently, Lex might have some powers too but nothing to make her as combat-efficient as the others. Seems like both Lex and one of Wagner's attendants are credited to be "really fast". Kaguya was at least existent in the universe since Orie's ED so it's a long time coming.
Oh boy the ULTIMATE fujoshit.
His design alone was obvious though, expect him and Carmine doujins
Carmine is currently involved with someone else.
what's carmine's deal anyway?
the akuma of the series?
Just some thrill-seeker flexing his powers around during the night and beating people up for his own amusement. Prefers to beat people up if they're really ambitious and laughing at their face.
He's a bully. And likes fighting. Although he doesn't pick fights with everyone he comes across. He only really picks fights with people who have motivations and such. Just so he can laugh at them when he beats them.
see
Why don't you just go play melty?
he's SHIKI.
see 's image
both games have their appeal
I play both
SHIKI is not in Melty though.
Roa is
clones
remember when fighters had those all the time back in the day? remember when some clones became full characters in later games?
Am I supposed to who know that is?
>he hasn't played tsukihime
Wasn't that great the game, but I still really like
playing it.
...
>Still stuck on Seth 4-2
mofumoe.org
do yourself a favor
>Tune into stream
>Guy is playing a 10 delay match
What the fuck.
>Still get 6B or 6C constantly when I don't want it
I'm not gonna make it yuzubros.
you missed the tourny, akatsuki won
I could have joined this guy's room but holy shit that delay.
Yuzubro-senpai, where can I find high level Yuzu matches? Is there a website like the GG, Melty, and BB one that archives the fights and sorts them by character? Also, who are the top 5 Yuzu players?
I finally did 3-7 as Yuzu but skipped 3-6
find this nigga
twitter.com
Based jewpuncher.
There was Chainshift, but it hasn't been updated in two years or so
chainshift.com is supposedly like meltydb
Chainshift died so now I just find arcade vods on Youtube and pray Kure is playing.
I just started playing this and the combos are a bit difficult. Can I actually play decently without doing all those hard combos? In SF as long as you have decent fundamentals you can win with basic combos, can I do the same here?
I feel like if you can do your 3- missions you'll be find.
Yes
try to find a 3k combo and then go nuts
...
Which combos? The ones in the 4-1 missions? You can probably get by for a bit with just the basic ones from the 3rd section.
>You can win with basic combos
You still can but if other people have similar levels of fundamentals but with more optimal combos, you can figure out how you'll end up.
Character execution requirements vary wildly. Some characters (enkidu in particular) have really simple combos (enkidu's are literally [starter] BBBCCC) and some don't. Pick whichever one feels best.
I ended up finding Chaos's BNB on fucking accident because his attacks were simple and all just sort of flowed together.
>dumb PSO2 twitterfag
Fucking unfollowed
You can, this game is very fundamentals based, people call it the street fighter of anime fighting games for a good reason
>(enkidu's are literally [starter] BBBCCC)
honestly thats fucking terrible
More or less, since it's pretty much an anime SF.
Of course, if someone of similar level knows a few more optimal anime combos that deal like 1.5k more damage and you get caught, you're gonna get chunked and will probably have to work a bit more to secure the win.
Pick up Linne, her combos are pretty easy to do if you don't optimize them
Post your UNIST Playlist please Yuzubro!
Not him but Batle Arena uploads very frequently
youtube.com
>the akuma of the series?
in the sense that both morally and objectively have never done anything wrong, yes
Cool, thanks. I'll try to memorize one of the 3-x missions and stick with it.
I'm still having problems with footsies and stuff because everybody has almost full screen normals.
tfw no parasoul in unist
yeah you gonna how to get in on certain characters
Good Luck!
Learning decent neutral to keep yourself afloat is definitely a tougher experience. As long as you know what to expect from whichever character you can plan out your approach carefully. Meter is relatively abundant in this game too so don't be afraid to use it.
Thats a fucking terrible combo lol,
Enkidus bnb is 5b 5c 2c 3c 6(c) 2b 2c j.b j.cc 236b 6a 6a, git gud senpai
I was exaggerating.
That's still a really easy combo.
Pretty much use what this user posted , and also Hydegaming1, though he doesn't upload nearly as frequently. This is the guy I mentioned earlier. All his matches are in Parts 2-5.
I'm desperately trying to copy him. Definitely one of the cleanest Yuzus.
>No Yuzu in most recent video
>Second video a Yuzu player is getting bodied by Waldstein so bad that I thought it was literally me
I'm having PTSD from watching that
So are Sup Forums's Hollow Nights on weekdays and weekends are just practicing sessions?
For me it is. I don't know what you guys do on thurs-sun.
Fighting an Orie who knows what she's doing is pretty scary.
I used to think that people were delusional when they said Under Night was anime Street FIghter, but now that I've played it I admit it really is. It's not like BB/GG were you get placed in 30 in-game secs of high/low mix ups and the actual mix ups are FAIR in this game versus others. It's by far the most laid back anime fighter of the bunch.
you get rewarded for being aggro and blocking correctly
You know, people wanted taunts in the game but I always found the idle taunts the characters do when they stand completely still to be enough for me to count as one. Even when you backdash, you lose Grd so doing completely nothing makes it feel like you know what you're doing to not take any action, especially if you're just waiting and blocking correctly.
That's good for me too since I'm busy on those nights.
> It's not like BB/GG were you get placed in 30 in-game secs of high/low mix ups and the actual mix ups are FAIR in this game versus others.
play a good carmine or byakuya
