This game actually wasn't half bad. I got a good playthrough out of it.

I would literally kill someone for a Binary Domain 2

its been a while since ive played this but if i remember correctly, the games ending set itself up for a sequel, right?

...

...

...

Holy shit, the nostalgia

it did and apparently there was a sequel in the works but it got cancelled

My (old) niggas

Considering the ongoing Souls craze, a Chakan sequel would be perfect for a publisher to want to do it. Shame they've all probably forgotten about it.

...

i know most people here haven't even heard of this game

Holy shit is that a Ken Rocafort cover?

It was based on an underground comic, right?

...

>tfw studio went bankrupt right after this
feelsbad

...

Now that IO is independent, maybe we'll see a Freedom Fighters sequel already

Dunno man, but here's my favorite official art for that gaem

I heard there was a podcast somewhere about how the production of this game was development hell but I never found it.

this game was shit.
other than beign a bad copy of GoW, it was a badly done one.
All enemies were damage sponge and all the difficulty came from increasing hp and damage.
nah nigga
Good but flawed. Overwlorld was MAZING to loom ata nd explore, but after a few hours you understand that the world is basically empty save for the same 4 subquests repeated over and over and the magic kinda vanished.
i loved the crap outta it tho and the multiplayer was actually good(even if completely unbalanced)
well, no. Was it gud?
Loved it, but the legion balance was shit an enemies sometimes had way too many hp, making fighting them a boring and annoying task instead of a fun one.
Also Bomb legion was exploitable when you realised that levelling it and simply kicking it around was way bette rthan anything else

Because it would make so much sense to have Dante tear through Purgatory, when the whole point of Purgatory is heavenly hosts burning away your sin through suffering.
The game was fun. But the sequel would make no sense.

...

there's a great article out there about it, I don't have the link on me. Basically development was a trainwreck, and Rhode Island taxpayers were footing the bill

wasnt that game originally supposed to be an mmorpg but half way through development they realised they are broke so they scaled it down to a single player game?

...

yup. It was originally one of those "YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!" sort of projects, but after several years of development they finally scaled it back. I never played it but I remember people at launch complaining it played like a single player MMO.

Viking doesn't count

That game was sick, OP. My roomate and I played the hell out of that game.
It was a lot more fun than God of War, IMO

>played the hell out of that game

>red faction guerrilla 2

ARMAGEDDON DOESNT COUNT

fucking sucks this shit isnt on pc.

that could've just been turned into the intro cinematic. maybe 30 mins long

...

>Le edgier christian god of war
That shitty game was retarded, and lets not forget what EA tried to pull

As far as I know, the only real 3rd person platformer shooter!

Even Uncharted 4 got with the program that swinging around and verticality is fucking awesome. But that didn't let you fucking throw dumpsters at people.

A lot of the level design and odd design decisions sucked though and that clearly sunk a lot of people's opinions of the game. Snipers were not fucking fun, and neither was a lot of the game feeling like travelling through hallways.

It was pretty good take on the whole God of War formula; or maybe you just prefer to look for your wife's son in the woods.

Spiritual sequel would be better imo

I loved the art, still a pretty good rendition of hellish landscapes but I just don't find the gameplay that appealing to have a sequel that is probably just add a few new things

>hell is edgy
that is the point, baby boy

Capcom is seriously the king of missed potential

Another game that should have been an amazing twist on third person shooting but ended up mediocre

I bet you prefer to play the game were your wife gets cologne'd by some non british muslims

I wish the gamespy servers were still up, the multiplayer on that game was fucking terrifying

still playing this

The voice actor of blasto died unfortunately, it sucks they never ported it to ps3, loved this game so much

Didn't they announce a sequel recently?

No one who's had the misfortune of playing this wants that

Could it actually get a sequel? I mean I know it was EXTREMELY loosely based on the Divine Comedy, but the next stop after beating Satan's meat would be Paradiso. So is he going to go full ANOTHER GOD REJECTED and start killing Angels, Saints, and God?

Sadly, no. The ending strongly hinted that Satan got out of Hell anyways.

It literally would have been killing demons, but in Heaven, probably.

Awww. Oh well. Not like the idea would have been anything that hasn't already been done before.

I fucking love this game and movie. Not sure how a sequel would work

...

I bought the CE of this used for like $10 because it was the cheapest way to get Hardboiled in HD. The game wasn't bad; it was kind of like a really unpolished Max Payne.

Would you trust them after the Dungeon Keeper "sequel"?

viking was fun for the first island but then it just turned into doing the same shit all the time

Loved that game but the difficulty gap between easy and medium was completely ridiculous
easy
>slightly less then normal difficulty
>enemies have reasonable health and do reasonable damage
Meduim
>every enemy is a borderlands 2 tier damage sponge and could kill you in 2 hits
>bosses can one shot you.
>Lucifers flopping dick could take so much damage you could smack him for 10 mins and it get him to half health just in his first form

Props to this game for the discovery of my cuck desires. youtube.com/watch?v=EYnzKbHcRBk

Yup

Such a good fucking game.

It's not fair

I actually wanted this specific one to have a game where he find his way out of the Infernal Abyss and make his way home.

THIS

I always felt the bolter in this was so satisfying

RIP sweet prince

Most edgy game title award goes to

>The title
Would that count as negative of a negative?

Just hearing the main theme gets me in the mood to replay it. Tommy on the OST, Orson Scott Card on the story, shit was fucking amazing. Shame it came out at the end of the Xbox's life and was also a buggy mess. Great fucking game.

>Never will get a DeathWatch sequel.

This game is absolute trash, fucking nostalgia fags
