Are you coming back to play Hearthstone for the new expansion?

Is it still made by Blizzard?
Then no.
lolno
>power creep: the game
No, thanks.
Made by Blizzard is like a seal of quality, you just know they will support it with patches and expansions, and that bugs and crashes will be next to non-existent.
no, I found other card games to be mad at and disappointed in
Whats this garbage flavor of the month pay2win shit?
eternal. It's mtg but with a working online client
you get to play shit on your opponents turn but because the devs suck the best line of play is always play pick related or burn
or some combination of titan and another color or two
funny you say that but white and blue are the lesser represented colours
And I guess you start with shit cards, and since very few people play, you are matched against people with powerful decks.
are we playing the same game? all i see is control deck after control deck after control deck
it's always either icaria, getting smacked in the face by relic weapons or a combination of the two
You can grind up packs against the AI or draft
Nah I'm all in on Shadowverse these days.
Well I wanted to sell my account couple months ago, but noone wanted to buy it, so I'm stuck playing it, it's addictive crap
>Can't be bothered to make a death night class
>LMAO just make every class death knight lite for an expo
Kill yourself blizzard
>shadowverse got censored
>"well at least it won't happen to granblue fantasy"
>granblue fantasy got censored
fuck cygames, seriously
>Can't be bothered to make a death night class
They probably can't without a serious rework of most of the game
See: the inability to add more deck slots
If you've never played this game, but have an interest in doing so, or if you've just stumbled in here from the catalog there's only one thing you need to know:
Do not play this game. I am completely serious. Don't thank me, don't think about it, just don't do it.
They added more deck slots with the introduction of limited play.
Yeah by replacing the 9 beginner decks, this reeks of hacked in
you're right, there is a lot of armory but titan is still everywhere along with it and chalice
it's just that there's also really bad weapon removal options and banish doesn't do enough
They can do it. They just don't want to put it a lot of effort for money.
The problems with big patches are:
1. Its Unity, so every tiny change is a full recompile.
2. Its mobile, so when you change something, you need every phone user to download a patch, or be prevented from connecting.
They already had some phone players refusing to update, and using old version game to cheat against PC players.
>he still plays cuckverse
>power creep:the game
>posting custom cards
c'mon man
I will most likely play arena for few weeks then decide wheter i want to play ranked.
I can't stand the anime theme. I hate it passionately. If it was MLP themed, I'd hate it less.
Eternal's white/time is more like green
they switched and mixed some color identities
green is buffs and flyers
white is tokens, ramp and big guys
>playing any nublizzard "game"
All blizzard does nowadays is make increasingly flashy skinner boxes designed to jew you out of $2.50 over and over again. In the case of hearthstone, it's more like $60 every 3 months. And the game is so simple that even people who dedicate all of their time to playing it get like a 52% win percentage, because the only thing that matters is the draw.
So, fuck no.
Doesn't red have more tokens than time?
Funny you say that, the MLP CCG actually is better balanced and much more competitive than Shadowverse.
The game really doesn't need more classes. Class identity is already badly defined enough as it is, and adding more would make it even worse. New class would also have a massive disadvantage due to having less cards than the rest.
The fact that no pro player can achieve over 60% winrate is what got me to quit.
Even for the very best, its always chance that wins or loses.
eternal is the most generous TCG i've played, you get a free pack a day, when you start playing you get a free thematic deck for the first 3 (4? i can't remember) week you play
there are 3 modes of play, gauntlet, forge and draft, gauntlet is against the AI, your first 4 victory in gauntlet give you packs (after which you get gold, a complete gauntlet run where you win against the AI give you around 750 gold with a pack costing 1000)
forge is a draft mode against the AI except you pick from 3 cards like in hearthstone
draft is drafting just like MTG and in both forge and draft you get to keep all the card you select so it's totaly possible to just get all the rare cards no one play because they are shit and trade those for the useful stuff if you feel like that
cards get traded into dust like hearthstone a rare give you 200 dust and requires 800 dust to be made, a legendary give you 800 and requires 3200 dust to be made
>tfw preordered
>Made by Blizzard is like a seal of quality
Yeah, it grantes that the game will start decent but will get shittier and shittier with each update
with grenadins
time just gets little value units that make you want to die when Obelisk or Chalice happens
I'll believe in blizz again if they find a way to make control viable again with whatever this jade golem counter is that they hinted at
I feel like they just released a new expansion a month ago.
This is why no one plays this stupid game.
1 maybe 2 expansions per year is fine, 3 or 4 a retarded cash grab for autists.
Forge costs 2500g but if you win all 7 games you get 3 packs plus the 25 cards you picked, draft is better value but you'll probably struggle consistently winning the games as a new player
Aren't Freeze Mage and Taunt Warrior really good at the moment?
meh, at this point custom cards aren't that much worse than what blizz shits out
>He doesnt know how to uncensor
No.
I learned last expansion that the ladder is only going to get worse and Blizzard is fine with that.
Worst case scenario, if playerbase goes down, they can just make Hearthstone be a World of Warcraft minigame, and make bosses drop very powerful cards.
the colour pie is a little mix
I still call the colours what they're closest to in magic
>Made by Blizzard is like a seal of quality
Blizzard products are quality, mate. They run well, have slick UI, sounds, get support.
Design may be shit at times, but its always quality.
Except hs is riddled with bugs some of which existed for ridiculous amounts of time. And that one bug with cards clipping through each other in hand has been around since beta.
>have most of set 1
>have the playable set 2 cards because it's mostly garbage and set 1 is just on another level of power
it's like they tried to address the issue of power creep by having the first set of cards include all of the super efficient creatures while future sets get nothing
>shills don't come to Sup Forums
List 5 bugs in Hearthstone. I am waiting.
Well jade decks are almost non existent anymore
No.
I'm too dumb for card games.
this is fixed
It's simple enough to learn by watching, but it's a terrible esport.
...links?
what happened to this game? it used to be number 2 on twitch
Disarmament and pacifism seem legit fun to play with. holy guard be a bit OP
I'd rather play magic
Fuck Hearthstone. Blizzard did what it does with all of their titles: power creep to hell and back.
At least with WoW, if you jumped in at a new xpac, you were set to keep up with everyone who has been playing. With Hearthstone, I didn't get a chance to play it until a year after it came out, and even then the fucking game had reached retarded power creep levels to the tune the tune of "buy tons of boosters just to catch up".
Fucking card games. Every time a card game sees an xpac these day, it means 90% of all the card that existed before it become garbage.
Your kind belong here
Those cards are awful
No.
who /eternal/ here
never played Hearthstone because fuck blizzard
had some balling times in Shadowverse but the new expansion is pure cancer
Played Magic for half my entire life so Eternal is pretty dank for me. Shame on the low number of players, though.
I mostly only play draft
$60 every 3 months?
user each expansion pack (not adventure) costs $600-1000 to acquire every card, taking crafting into consideration. They release two of these per year.
A seal of quality that tells me
>The servers just won't work sometimes
>The admins straight up never want to talk to me or handle my issues, any problem is simplified down to a virtual sticky note for someone to maybe see.
>Broken things will stay broken for months until they're """""""""""""""""""""fixed""""""""""""""
Forsen stoped playing it. Now it's only no. 4 around 1-4 pm EST because Thijs is online
>Made by Blizzard is like a seal of quality
its like a mediocre game for 50$ forever
>magic but without instants and the general spell interaction between players which is what it has become known for
Nah.
Never stopped. For better or for worse it's still the best digital card game and it will continue to be until competitors learn about audiovisual design.
It's around 450 to 500 three times a year. Hearthstone is a blight and those who play it are idiots
but user! it's not pay to win because you can earn everything in the game by playing it!
And by the time you get enough cards to make a meta deck or two the next expansion came out so oops you have to do it all over again before you even got to enjoy your cards
Is there any online CCG that isn't garbage?
I've played HS and Shadowverse but they've steadily got worse as time went on.
...
Well shit, I know what I'm playing now.
lol
I'm not even going back to Shadowverse much less HS
You'll be back, cuck.
Dumb dyke
Come back user~
Anime ruins everything.
Nope, but I am looking forward to the new Faeria expansion. Whenever they get around to releasing it.
I'm rotating between TES:L, Krosmaga, and Gwent. Eternal is cool but I'm fucking tired of Mana screw/flood.
Farris will get an expansion?
Cheers then
I always come back holding onto hope that the new meta is going to be at least not awful. Every time I'm disappointed, and I drop the game after a season or two.
I honestly thought Un'goro was gonna be good. I was stoked that Midrange Paladin was back, but then decks became refined. Paladin turned into aggressive murloc cancer and the Rogue quest and Ice Block kept the game as Fun and Interactive™ as ever.
*Faeria
Fucking phones
Those aren't real right? That's some bullshit
only custom as far as I know.
probably not as bullshit as this is gonna be, and it's official
I just wanted to have a fun Paladin class. As it turned out, Paladins were terrible, then good, then great for a little bit( if I remember reading things right) and so on ad infinitum. Even worse, most of the best Paladin setups didn't feel very much like a proper Paladin at all. They just felt like a generic multiclass character instead of a faith based face smasher who relies as much on god being generous as they do god being a dick. Where's my Seal of Command, fuckers? Gimme a fucking Reckbomb.
with the new weapon getting an attack buff for each divine shield that gets used up from your minions is any good you'll get something a little like that
I'm playing the secret rare TCG.
>Plays blood knight
One card to single handedly blow up the entire niche pally is going for this expansion.
yall kids can't even handle that POWAH
>dumb weebs still playing shadowverse after two awful expansions and its own eldrazi winter
Just goes to show incel neets will slurp up any trash with a weeb artsyle
It's gonna be insane in fatigue matches, but against aggro, shuffling a bunch low quality weenies into your deck while Rexxar is hitting you in the face is a death sentence.
This art reminds me of that one "artist" for Pokemon TCG basic that just used 3D renders with minimum polygons.
but blood knight would be perfect for you to play, gives pretty big buffs to your blood knight, and the newish stuff related to divine being removed getting pretty nice buffs too.
but yeah, if blood becomes standard it's gonna be a pain to play pally
They fixed the game. Meta is fine right now.
