AWWWWW YEAH
Who else refunding this piece of shit?
AWWWWW YEAH
Who else refunding this piece of shit?
>got it when is was about 10 bucks
>somehow keep on pouring hours on it
>200+ hours now
It's clearly not everyone's cup of tea, but it is mine.
Got it in the steam sale. It looked nice until I realised it was just going to be a game where you start fires and fish until you run out of wood and die.
Refunded it at 2.5 hours, but I guess Gaben took pity on my soul.
I imagine wilderness survival games are hard to appreciate if you've never left your basement.
>thoughtful exploration-survival experience
They go to some great lengths to avoid calling it a game.
>only you, the cold and all the threats mother nature can muster
>some wolves
Maybe stop buying shitty fucking early access survival games
Game has really come a long way.
>Sup Forums constantly bitches about EA games never getting better and just being cash grabs
>always ignores games that do EA right
why am I not surprised
Some are good. Salt is worth it.
Too bad the game's art is so fucking awful that it's sickening just to look at. What the fuck were they thinking?
It could have been good if they let you build stuff, and actually stay alive.
Bear in older version at the top.
Then it would be too easy.
for this type of game they have made the graphics more immerse while keeping its style
instead looks like ass
The game has zero content, so they force you to eat a deer a day with unrealistic starvation mechanics to keep things "interesting".
SAD!
No, then it would be playable. There's no point in doing the same two things every day, knowing that you'll last about 100 days at most. Pic related if you think there's value in that.
could have*
Btw, when a game leaves early access, you can refund the game like KF2
*silently refunds*
Same.
>Btw, when a game leaves early access, you can refund the game like KF2
Nope.
I've had this game in my inventory for over a year, not really wanting to start it until it came out of EA. So this is pretty good news.
Ok but you literally can
It's by far one of my favorite survival games next to subnautica, it's also pretty comfy
What, did they get rid of that? I refunded KF2 when it left early access.
So can you? Been thinking of doing it with Ark, (assuming they don't manage to finally optimise it in the next month,) but wasn't sure it was possible.
You literally can't.
What happened with KF2 was a one off, Steam has since changed their policies (to avoid the millions in lost revenue when Rust/Day Z/ARK leave EA) and there have been numerous instances of people trying to refund shit as soon as it leaves early access since and being denied.
KF2 was the exception, not the rule.
I've refunded a bunch of games after they left early access. Youre fucking retarded my man
Pulling shit out of your ass - nothing has come out of early access to test EA refunds with
Lots of shit has you sperg.
>I've refunded a bunch of games after they left early access.
Post proof, won't be hard.
Prove it.
Where's your proof that you can't refund early access games after they stopped being early access?
Id like to talk about salt. I think salt had the potential to be either a cool existiential crisis simulator where you just knock around an endless world trying to find your own purpose with not a whole lot to find apart from what nature bestows or a silly pirate buried treasure game and they picked silly pirate buried treasure game.
Dont get me wrong, i thought the quests they added were mostly fun but the game is not equipped to make it a real rpg with side quests and what not so it really just killed the artistic core of the game for cheap thrills. I would have prefered it if you were alone in the world with just a few scraps of paper around instead of practically immobile pirates and npcs.
Multiplayer will also be cool but it will solidify it as a silly pirate game.
That sounds fucking boring.
>The first two episodes of WINTERMUTE represent approximately 15 hours of gameplay. Episodes Three to Five are included in the price of the game, and will be unlocked for free as they are released.
>30yuro
>out of "early access"
>still not complete
lmao
yeah im not surprised people rather buy PUBG for the same price
Newfags much?
We had threads about Endless Space 2, Dungeon Defenders 2, Life is Feudal Forest Village, Everspace and those are just the most recent.
>nothing has come out of early access to test EA refunds with
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA
You need to go back, faggot.
You see, I bought it expecting a silly pirate treasure game, and ended up completely giving up on that and just...wandering from island to island, building up my ship.
But the game needs a lot of work, and i'm starting to wonder if that'll ever happen. If enough people were interested in it, it wouldn't matter because mods..but I guess we're going to have to see where they take it.
early accesss dev shaking in his boots detected
top kek
Is there an actually good sandbox game where I can just build and farm and comfy my way through?
It all seems like such shit.
>Is there an actually good sandbox game where I can just build and farm and comfy my way through?
Stardew valley
Retarded faggot that's stuck with yet another memetastic survival game detected.
>we had threads
I don't come to Sup Forums often because it's full of Redditors and underage, how is that proof?
I've already gone through that one. Even married the objectively best waifu Penny
minecraft
terraria
Thats sort of my point, it doesnt work well as a silly pirate buried treasure game because the devs neither have the capability nor the inspiration to go all the way with it, I think they just added that crap in because they felt they had to.
You could with KF2 but I think Valve might have stopped it because so many people refunded it. I bought LEGO Worlds in EA in 2015, it came out of EA a few months ago and I tried to refund it but I got denied.
>run out of wood and die
>wood limitless
>the limit resources are indeed replaced by fish and hunting
>when all your tools break you begin forging new ones at furnaces and exist forever with homemade tools
user
only until they leave early access :)
But that's all you do. perhaps that's his point.
>I've already gone through that one
Ah In that case
My Time At Portia
Looks promising, a demo on steam aswell
Do they make story yet?
>how is people posting proof about being denied refunds proof
Jeez user, I don't fucking know.
Fuck off back to plebbit already.
Oh, that looks sweet. thanks!
Ok faggots I am about to try refund it, if the thread stays up I will post valves reply.
How is people posting threads about a game proof that the game cannot be refunded after it leaves green-light.
You knew what I meant and I know that bullshit style of arguing you're using right now you little fucking shit. Think you're slick?
It'll probably take days, but make a thread with the results either way.
It is fun for a demo, if the final result will be a 3d stardew valley with more content in it im sold.
>How is people posting threads about a game proof that the game cannot be refunded after it leaves green-light.
The threads were about the games leaving early access and people being denied refunds you mongoloid.
Perfect game.
Until they reworked clothing. Killed the game for me
>Until they reworked clothing
What did they change? I only played it way back in 2015 when it gotten on steam.
Now im thinking whenever I should refund and get my 10bucks back or not
>You knew what I meant and I know that bullshit style of arguing you're using right now you little fucking shit. Think you're slick?
Go to bed, Dad.
Now you can wear 2 layers of clith, meaning each piece you craft has intrinsic less value than before.
And they nerfer wolf and bear clothes.cNerfed to the point is plain worse than clothes you find around. Yep, the clothes that take more time, resources and effort are worse than the ones you find around.
>B-b-but they are better for combat
Yeah, because cold is never an issue, and there is combat constantly. Also the are way heavier
So give me the scoop, why does everyone wanna refund this game?
Then post a screenshot.
everyone on Sup Forums is an unemployed brazilian
It's a boring, empty "fish and gather wood while you wait to die" simulator. I imagine it's a perfect representation of living in Canada.
>Three years to get out of early access
>Now its "episodic" only 2 of 5 done.
>$15 more
>for a Limited Time
why are people so fucking retarded christ
Or you could just check the archive, newfag.
Flame in the Flood is the only good survival game of this type.
I see, well gonna refund
>appreciating starving to death
But at some point you're going to run out of tools that you need to hunt/fish. That's what really kills it for me, there's no long term survival. I'm going to play a little bit of the story and then refund
Did they add the npcs they kept saying they were working on?
Same here.
You really should've blacked out your account name, user.
It is being reviewed. Uh btw I requested that the money be refunded to the card that was used to buy the game, my brothers visa card, so why does it say "steam wallet+payment card"?
I don't mind spergs here seeing my name, I have posted it a few times in other account related/steam friends threads. Never been bothered by anyone.
Might be currency conversion fees or something like that.
If it's being reviewed it's going to be denied.
probably because some was paid with the steam wallet and the rest went onto a card
alpha 2 demo comes out August 3rd if they make the deadline
Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead
>ASCII game
Nah thanks. Looks fucking garbage
>reviewed
Denied
Not necessarily, I have had ones that got reviewed granted.
Most likely, I usually have a few cents in my wallet from cards and shit so probably that, can't remember.
I remember playing this game, I tried playing it realistically for a while and got fucking wrecked by bullshit every time, then I spent a run sprinting through the game, ignoring threats, wasting resources, basically acting like a damn psycho and I ended up exhausting the extent of the game at that time
Does anyone else remember that the devs of this game had an autism fit when the first (and only) mod was released for this which fixed item handling and they lost their mind and demanded none mod their game?
Nope, you lose I win argument over.
There's tilesets included in the main download, But it is a rougelike and that's not everyone's cup of tea.
t.toddler
OH SNAP
I thought most people loved the game. What exactly is wrong with it, OP?
>do your own research sweaty ;)
STUTTERING STANLEY
They say that for every refund though, its the first email telling you your refund request has been received then you get a followup email in an hour or two telling you if its been denied or granted
I get those every time I refund
Is this game worth playing now? I got a pirated version back when it was still in early access, but I didn't think too much of it.
>My Time At Portia
I hope that game turned out to be good.
Tried Yonder CCC because it looked similar and have somewhat similar premise, but the game turned out to be plain as fuck.
>Tried Yonder CCC because it looked similar
In that game you only take care of animals and walk around.
MTAP is more like stardew valley in 3d combined with similiar games. If you want there is a demo on steam to try
>sweaty
Go to bed old man, the Alzheimer's is kicking in.
When I go to the demo page on steam, it just shows the games store page and no demo.
