Unironically yes. Even the goofy Rabbid stuff seems restrained and the art design is cool.

Reminds me of that singing robot boss from Skylanders Giants
Seems like a lot of fun and the graphics are really nice.
Referring to that first boss they showed in the video by the way
BABBY
looks fun
preordered weeks ago. it will be fucking amazing
Peach has more life in her facial animations.
Nintendo really should be embarrassed
this is gonna flop
looks decent. will check it out
It looks like it'll have extensive single player content, which has been lacking in most Switch releases since BOTW. That plus it being a SRPG makes me interested, and a Kirkhope soundtrack is also worth noting. Plus, it seems the developers really put their heart into it, so there's a bit of pathos towards buying it.
but i probably won't
just read this. it truly is a project built with love

>france no longer buys video games
The Ps4 poster.
...
>Ubisoft
No.
Stop getting tricked by their marketing. It's going to be shit like always.
>b-but this time is different and
No.
Nope.
not at fucking all.
i hate those god damn rabbits so fucking much ever since i've played their party game on the ps2, raving rabbits or something.
fucking forced comedy and obnoxious voices, literally minions of the early 2000.
Looks like a fucking indie game with ps2 graphics for kids.
I'd rather play actual games for the PS4.
t.retarded Europeans
stop breathing, retarded shitposter
Wrong.
>kirkhope once got drunk and almost pulled down miyamoto's pants at e3
God, imagine all the stories those guys have.
Name a good Ubisoft game in the last 5 years.
>NWR asked Soliani if they could reveal some exploration parts of the game. Soliani revealed details about the game’s chapters, boss fights, and more. Here’s what he had to say:
>“I don’t want to spoil much, but I will say it’s 30 percent of the overall game. It’s needed to connect the combat phases, but I didn’t want to ever just have a hub where the player could load battles. I wanted to create a seamless experience and that’s why we said players should really immerse in the exploration, and you know every world is divided into 10 chapters, like the chapters of a book, you can read just a chapter, or you can read multiple of them. There’s are some secret chapters in each world. In each world there is a mid boss in the middle of it. There’s a boss fight at the end of it. There are secret chapters, and in between you have exploration where you can collect treasure chests in order to find collectibles, but also cool weapons that can upgrade your character. You can solve puzzles to advance and you can meet several other heroes that will start to be part of your roster. And each of the heroes has unique abilities; these will open up new possibilities in terms of strategy gameplay for the players to be applied on the battleground.”
so, what does that have to do with anything?
>made by Ubisoft Paris and Milan
JUST
I hope Nintendo takes some notes from this art-wise, because this game is, if nothing else, pretty damn good-looking. The animations are fluid and expressive and the environments look very twisted while still reminiscent of Mario.
...
looks like a cartoon. delicious
What the fuck is wrong with that goomba.
He thinks the entire Europe has the same bad taste as the UK, who are a bunch of retarded sonybros. And he's wrong.
There is nothing about this that should be good and yet this looks like a lot of fun.
Is this the only case where a leak was a good thing? It was like expectations were rock bottom before the trailer even dropped.
I want to be down on this. I REALLY do. I hate Ubisoft, I hate Minion rabbits, and it's a ripoff of XCOM I guess. But it looks good, the people doing it seem REALLY excited to be developing it, and it looks ok.
We'll see though
This game will be great
I was giving this game so much shit when I first heard of it
but if shit like Kingdom Hearts can work, I don't see why this cant either
Though I'm still pissed Rayman is being forgotten more and more by Ubisoft
FUCK YES
Seriously I know it's Ubishit and all, but seeing the led dev passionate at E3 and Miyamoto giving his thumbs up makes me habeeb
>Though I'm still pissed Rayman is being forgotten more and more by Ubisoft
This is why I can't support this game. I can't. I would just be shitting on my childhood hero if I did.
Again-- only excited to see BJ be in charge for once.
said no one ever
I just did
The one thing that still bothers the back of my mind
>Miyamoto's one condition for the crossover was to not make a Platforming game
>>>>>>>Sonic Team was most likely in this same position
>The chose the Fucking olympics
How does it feel knowing that the fucking Rabbids are going to have a better crossover game with Mario than Sonic ever did?
>they remembered he's left handed
>The characters overall haven't looked this alive since Luigi's Mansion 2
Why is it that Nintendo is less passionate about their own characters than other companies?
Yup. I love xcom games.
Your shitty hero is death and no one cares anymore. Grow up already
t. sony fanboy
I'm happy Bows Jr. got in.
I'm also surprised at how well such a weird crossover got so much love put into it.
Even more surprised with those odd badass princess leaks a bit ago.
Everybody who played it said it was good
The charm is genuine instead of the DAAAAH RANDOM trends that happened during their peak popularity
The game is going to be good and your going to be shitposting about it
Turn based combat sucks so I'm not interested
Also rabbits suck
I hate Rabbids and I hate Ubisoft. They can't even tempt me by getting Kirkhope, I don't care.
Pretty great. Fuck Sahnic.
>MarioCom will have Chroma Squad jumps
oh shit I'm getting more and more hyped for this
I don't fucking care if others don't care you faggot. Now go play your Rabbids game, I'm not stopping you. So you shouldn't stop me from hating the game out of proxy.
>Everybody who played it said it was good
i bet you just buy whatever the shills serve you.
must be great living in a shithole
Because Miyamoto mandates there's no story, so why bother making characters with rich personalities?
Don't worry the rabbids are good therapy for you. You will forget who is Rayman in seconds or they will kill you
>shills
just end your worthless life
Ubisoft, just keep being shit like you are known for now and all will be good, I'll just keep playing your former mascot's games that are better anyways.
I'm not sure if I want it to do well, wil it mean more tactical games or more rabbids?
Quit spouting this dumb meme it's not true at all.
i bet you're new
This is a game where it doesn't look unfun, but the theme completely ruins it for me. Rabbids are just so painfully unfunny and their sense of humor is front and center in every aspect of this game right down to the text on weapon descriptions.
This sums it up. I'm probably going to end up getting it, because I really do just want to play a mario xcom game, but the rabbids alone have me on the fence
>there are people who will hate this purely because of Rabbids and will not listen to reason
>there are people who will love this purely because of Mario and will not listen to reason
>actual honest opinions, good or bad, will be too easily discarded because of the above
Nintendo produces all their AAA games on A budgets. The animation detail in Rabbids is insane and it's going to be hard for anyone to defend cutting corners on Switch hardware when this is on the system.
Doing god's work, user
...
Holy shit this game's visuals
Holy shit, that's the scariest bowser's army has ever looked. Maybe Junior really should take charge more often
kill yourself
Rabbids are fucking stupid and I have no idea what Nintendo was smoking when they greenlighted this, but the gameplay looks a lot of fun so I'll probably pick it up.
My biggest fear is that this will sell well and CEOs at Ubisoft/Nintendo will go "we need to make more Rabbids games" instead of "we need to make more tactical skirmish games."
That ice boss looks pretty badass, I must admit. Same for the one with the shield.
The hell is with the cow/bulletbill/hammer?
Is that rabbit with the knight's helmet shooting machine guns from its tits?
_No.
Which vid, my lass?
what graphics engine is that? looks incredible
Snowdrop.
Look closer, it's got a blue ponytail and it's arm is held out. I think that fucking is a tittygun
>Rabbits should "ALLAAAAH!" when throwing bombs
How did they get away with this?
Just the main picture. I can't believe they managed to make some of these fusions look intimidating
Despite being dumb rabbids shit, the animations and art design are fantastic.
Pretty sure that's just some kind of fantasy gun.
This game pretty much solidifies to me that Nintendo are using their Wii U engines on Switch. Visually this game kind of blows everything on the system so far out of the water.
>1080 60
Sold
So hold the fuck up, the engine used in the division is actually RUNNING on the switch? If that's true then holy shit.
>Two barrels
>Arm is visibly not on the gun
>Rabbid is clearly a chick
I mean I can't believe it either, but that's what it looks like.
I was at E3, but it seems like it took too long, I just stopped caring. I might pick it up but I have this feeling it's gonna be like every other ubisoft title and end up $20 in a year, so I'm wary of buying it. Especially if there's any DLC.
You shouldn't fall for the underpowered Switch meme. It's low for a home console, but it's at the forefront for portable
>tittygun
>and a Kirkhope soundtrack is also worth noting
Wait Kirkhope is doing the soundtrack?
keep in mind this runs at 30fps, it has those amazing visuals at a price, which is extremely low for its genre, but far higher for games like platformers...
You're only seeing what you want to see.
It doesn't have two barrels, that's just a glowy spot on the back I think. It's also too high up and too much to the side for tits, and its using its other hand to hold it.
Yeah. I think the article where he and the game director talk about the development of the game was posted somewhere in this thread, and it's a fun read.
Why is modern nintendo's visual style so good? It's so bright and colorful, and it makes all their IPs feel legitimately magical and otherworldly.
