Not enough games allow this. It was a shitload of fun to do in Fable. Equipped the biggest fucking hammer I could find, couldn't even wield it because no strength. Plinked away at shit with a dinky bow until I got enough points to buy maxed out hulk-spell. When shit got serious the beanpole archer man suddenly turned into a red death machine one-handing a man-sized hammer as if it were a kitchen knife.

Yeah you can. If an MMO is literally the only game you play, you save hundreds a year from not playing other games. Take out money you typically spend on going out or eating out or whatever you could do for fun instead and you have thousands a year you can spend on this single game.

The Japanese don't really get how cool skeletons really are.

The only real MMO I know of that did something like this was Star Wars Galaxies, where there was a bunch of hidden factors to become a Jedi, until Sony went full retard and changed it to NGE to compete with WoW.

Because the backstory on that game is that non-human characters were hunted and PK'd relentlessly due to how they resembled monsters, and with how casual MMO players tend to be, nobody would want to inflict that kind of misery upon themselves when they just want to enjoy the game.

You see it all the time in MMOs/RPGs. 90% of the playerbase gravitates towards humans and elves, and the other 10% is split among the more unique races such as beastkin or undead. It's a real shame, because it's a self-serving problem that keeps giving us human-like races and nothing else within these games.

I imagine in a game that's virtual reality, immersing you to the point where you really do feel like you're in the world, it was just more comfortable to play as a humanoid race, than as a skeleton. Especially if the game was really popular and occupied by normies.

Warsword Conquest, the Warhammer Fantasy mod is good, though the only playable Undead is Vampire Counts and there's little magic in the game.

They are overpowered but still not optimal. That one skill he has the guarentees instant death AOE on literally everything in the game, including 9999999999 raid bosses if they got caught in the AOE is extremely powerful, but has a cool-down time of about a year in real time.

Well guys like Touch Me could cleave off around 70% health of the strongest raid bosses of Yggdrasil with his special attack. Dimensional slash could probably wreck house in the New World as well. Then again, being a nocromancing lich who can cast instant death on top of reviving people is extremely good for the New World.
