Outside of voice clips, is there a single person who actually likes this game?

Is there a single user here who was unlucky enough to get a Sega when it was a pack in?

My friend had this game and it was great. back then.

I have, like, three versions of it. Its okay for its time.

The Mega Drive version is fucking SHIT. FUCKING SHIT

It's not a good game, but it was cool to play when you're 5 years old.

hi leddit xDD

>I have, like, three versions of it

Why?

Remember playing this on my genesis, I do believe it was pack in, because most likely otherwise I would never had it in the first place.
Tried to play it like a week ago, obviously never beat it as a kid, never ever passed level 3 even, so I decided to give it another try, but this game is so ridiculously hard it's actually drows me insane. How the fuck are you suppose to play with only 3 lives and such rough controls? Is there, perhaps, something I don't know? Like a secret spin attack in Splatterhouse 3 which make it so much easier?
Tell me your secrets, Sup Forums.

Compilations.

Sega Smash Pack, Ultimate Genesis Collection, and Sega 3D Classics.

It's more fun with a friend.

I am going to assume the Sega version is the same as the 3DS one - hold A and press start to continue. Also, hold B and press start to bring up options to give yourself more power/lives.

You'll beat the game in like 20 minutes.

Thanks for making me realize I own at least two versions of it as well.

Is 3D Classics worth it? Isn't Japan getting a second one?

Uh, it is not.

You can use the A+Start trick, but thats it. Otherwise its your basic 80s arcade game: cheap.

Japan already got a second one.

As for if its worth it, depends on if it has any games you wanna try/want to play again. I got it for Puyo Puyo 2.

I liked it. Played it coop with friends and brother all the time.

My grandparents had this, I played it all the time growing up on their Genesis. Why my grandparents had a Genesis, I'm not sure.

They got it because they loved their grandkids.

Oh well, if he can almost beat it without the continue trick, he will be able to with it, I think.

There's really not a whole lot to it. I grabbed it off the Virtual Console shop because my brother and I had played it at a friend's house when we lived in Naples, and we had fun beating it thirteen years later.

Didn't know there was a continue trick, though.

it was popular enough to have an appearance in wreck it ralph

i saw that movie and dont remember it
