Is Ruby Rose the Poochie(annoying character that spoils the dynamic of the series once it's forcefully introduced)?

of videogames*

You're thinking of Shovel Knight or Reize.

Not really.
Her actress is fucking terrible, but she's a pretty standard protagonist character in all ways. It's the rest of the cast and writing that's a bunch of Poochies.

Shovel Knight is actually good though.
I'll give it to Reize for sure though.

>listening to rwby music
>meh, this could be worse
>white rapping starts
JUST
This Life is Mine is actually really nice.

She was best girl until season 4 when she went from cute shortstack who has no actual real skills except fighting to generic teen fiction protagonist

Autist /k/ommando Rube was fun.

She was Maka with Usagi's personality and strangely wide hips from the start, user. You just didn't notice.

Monty went to far with the edge, there's litterally no realistic hope for hte protagonists when
Volume 4 ends with the auidence knowing that the place hteir going to is being run by a Salem lacky and that not only are the monsters they've been fighting constantly respawwning and growing stronger but now those fuckers can plan, think and possibly talk.

The main four characters are woefully unprepared and under skilled to deal with these threats and the people who are are held back by adult government red tape, consperiaces and paranoia. Even the last minute bullshit powers that be of the protagonist don't matter because the protagonist has no idea how to use that power and even when she did it gave her enemy nothing more than a reason to want to kill the shit out of her and another enemy a one way trip to being an ice pop that summons even more monsters to it's location. Shit's as hopeless as the fucking god eater world.

Holy run-on-sentences and typos, Batman! I think our perp forgot to place his punctuation!

...

>mfw that horrible voice acting is official

why do americans have so awful voice actors? Dragon Ball dub sounds like everyone is constipated.

>this game is the best animated the series ever got

I liked caffeine addict Speedy Gonzales professor.

...That's about all positives I can give the show-

Oh shit I forgot about not-clockwork-orange guy. He was fun too.

In a way, but it's honestly worse than that, because she wasn't forcefully introduced, but rather the show was meant to focus on her in the first place, so the dynamic of the series was simply destined to be bad since the beginning.

I've never seen the show and given what I've heard about it, doesn't seem like it's worth bothering with but Ruby looks really cute.

Too bad he died

Because they read it like a book rather than a conversation.

>she's a pretty standard protagonist character in all ways. It's the rest of the cast and writing that's a bunch of Poochies.
Really? I always thought the other characters were more interesting, she was like some kind of Mary Sue that remind me of all of the bad parts of the series. Honestly, Jaune was the only character that has some kind of interesting background in my opinion... Well, along Pyrrha I guess.

>Her actress is fucking terrible
Why is she so fucking bad? I try not to be some elitist subtard, but it's really hard to enjoy the job when they are nothing compared to the Japanese cast.

Arc System Works had been expressing interest in doing a RWBY game for a while. Would you have rather they have just done a standalone RWBY game instead of implementing its cast into an ArcSys crossover?

Because the actress is a girl with a very deep voice that tries too hard to get a high pitch. The rest of the cast is not raelly bad because they don't force their voices that way.

yeah, I just realized that. It's kinda sad, the mexican (latin american dub) is way better.

RWBY isn't really anime, right?

Jaune and Phyrrha were the only (somewhat) interesting student characters, all the others were fucked being too """"""""""cool"""""""""", filled to the brim with drama, or "enearingly" quirky. Phyrrha's voice fucking sucked though, actually pretty much all female VA were kinda shit.

Adult characters were in general good.

OP's talking about her being in a blazblue vs persona game

>I always thought the other characters were more interesting
How? None of the primary characters have consistent personalities and maybe five of the dozens of secondary characters can even be called characters.

No, she also struggles with basic shit like inflection. She's just a really bad actress.

It isn't allowed on Sup Forums, so its not anime. It isn't allowed on Sup Forums, so its not a cartoon. I don't know what it is.

This show is not made in Japan why do people call it an anime?

She's like the complete opposite of Poochie. She's supposed to be the main character, but everyone other than her ends up getting more focus past the first 3 or so episodes.

The japs call it anime

It's the generals that aren't allowed on Sup Forums, and only when off-season.

It's already bad enough that the hacks who write this are being rewarded for another man's talents, I'd rather keep outside exposure to a minimum.

Anime is just short for animation anyway.

They call everything anime.
The French call cartoons anime, for fuck's sake.

She sounds like what I'd imagine the average middle schooler in an anime club would sound like

Because most people are idiots. They just parrot what they see/hear, without giving it any thought, and lack the ability to form their own opinions about anything.

>generic teen fiction protagonist
I don't get it. Is she a mary sue now or what?

I agree with you, although I didn't think Pyrrha's voice was that bad. Sometimes I think that Rwby could have been great if they wouldn't have made it so bland and childish (in my opinion)

Pretty sad eh? He's the best villian this series could offer

Yeah, but I feel there was some grounding in some of them, that's why I mentioned Pyrrha and Jaune as the only ones that had some kind of actual background that was interesting and sort of developed.

I felt that the first season's biggest problem was the barebones setting. I appreciate the less is more mindset, but I think a bit more exposition could have done more good than harm. They just give a quick explanation on what Grimm and semblances are and just move on.

>Shovel Knight is actually good though

Even they were flipfloppy and poorly established.

Ruby's the best written character in her show despite being generic as fuck simply by virtue of consistency.

RWBY tries really hard to be anime and it's obnoxious. It's made for the average western "weeb" and feels like it was made by a middle school anime club

I made it to the second season because Mounty Oum was my shit back in the day but I had to tap out. It is so fucking devoid of originality, just throwing a ton of shit from a billion different series together without any finesse.

Also it's a shame that Yang is trapped in this series because holy shit she's best girl.

She's kinda cute though...

I remember when I still followed the show I had no idea the warp thing Ruby did actually had a name. Did they explain semblances in one of the side vids?

It's so funny how they blatantly ripped off stands for their speshul semblances, with no logic behind the concept in-universe.

It's funnier that a Diamond is Unbreakable fanfic managed to redeem the setting for me.

It's allowed on /trash/, so it's trash

>they blatantly ripped off stands
Which character has a stand?

>(annoying character that spoils the dynamic of the series once it's forcefully introduced)
thanks for explaining this joke on Sup Forums because noone here has ever watched or heard of the simpsons or even just this meme

YAAAAANNG?!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG?!

Have you seen her lately...? Even before the pregnancy and childbirth.

Ruby has fallen and needs help getting up. Will you assist her Sup Forums?

Stand powers*

It's basically the same shit minus the punch ghosts themselves: "muh soul manifested into a unique ablity that allows the writers creat super radical special powers without putting any effort in explaining it"

broke a nerve smashfag?

>Hating on based Reize

Fear and Trauma will do that to you

Literally all of them.
user's talking about the way designated superpowers are usually utilized in shonen manga post-Stardust Crusaders. It's not specifically Stands because Yang's is LITERALLY Goku's zenkai, Weiss has Naruto style summoning, etc, but a few of them are very similar to existing stands.

>characters have super powers
>is this a jojo reference?
Hang yourself, jojofag

Fuck the shut up Onsokumaru.

I want to watch Yang have really disgusting incest sex with Ruby also I want to have sex with both of them.

I've always wanted to have an incestual threeway with two sisters.

Jazz Faggot.

That's more of Bleach's Shikai/Bankai (actually minus the sword they are exactly the same desu) or HxH's Nen. Japanese loves inner spiritual/mental power

>Jazz
Who?

Nen has rules though and has internal consistency.

Shikai/bankai seems accurate.

This douche.

>Even they were flipfloppy and poorly established.
I liked the way they put them in the show, because it felt like those two were implemented in a way where it didn't seem forced. Both had an interesting development that I enjoyed, because it was simple, yet not as bland as the rest, and I see it as some sort of subplot rather than just giving background to the secondary characters to make them feel somewhat valuable, like it happens to the rest of the others.
It was like something that felt more genuine to me; On one hand there were these main characters that everyone liked and had the power of friendship Yay!, and these two were outcasts that had their own things going on withoug following the uninteresting formula the others had, like: This guy gets bullied because he's considered weak, and no one gives a shit except for Pyrrha, and that girl is really strong, but no one actually gives a shit either except for Jaune,It eventually got to a point where she was actually relevant to the main story, but still no one cared.
It was a different insight that would've worked better if applied to the rest of the story, less funny, less action, more interaction and personality development.
Whereas if it was Ruby or some of the others it would be like: This girl gets bullied, bunch of assholes get their asses kicked, everyone cares. Friendship, yay!
I don't know, maybe I'm just rambling, but I think I liked those two more than the rest.

...who?

Exactly.

RWBY is garbage.

what?

Achievement Hunter inside joke; Flint Cole.

Not sure how his name relates to the joke however. Him and Neon Cat (obvious Nyan Cat reference) seem like the result of splicing Lucio in half

>talking shit about the best side character
His name is Flynt user

>tfw I have never ever seen an episode of RWBY sober and I thoroughly enjoy it and all of its flaws

>It was a different insight that would've worked better if applied to the rest of the story, less funny, less action, more interaction and personality development.
Thats exactly what happened V4 and everyone complained.

dude...

BEER LMAO XD

It did?!
Wow, I didn't watch Volume 4.
Does it get better in that season?

Man that looks cringey

Ruby is harmless.

>le cringe xD
go back to plebbit

does Sun fuck the emo cat bitch or not

I honestly don't get how this series got as big as it has. The animation, writing, and voice acting are all high school film project tier. The only things that has any sort of quality and professionalism to it is the porn

>sober is a word exclusive to alcohol
DUDE i smoke WEED LMAO. Beer makes me feel icky

This is what happens when you watch Advent Children when you're 15 and think it's the tightest shit but never actually grow out of it

That's subjective. I think I liked V2 and V3 the best. V4 changes things a lot. Less action, more plot & lore and interaction. Lots of development too. Lots of people complained that "nothing happened" though.

I personally liked the show from V1 and while I thought V4 was the weakest, it was still enjoyable.

>only good characters are dudes
>every female is generic hentai shit

What's in it for me?

I think we can all agree that Reize is certainly unwelcome in everything he's been in.

He doesn't even have his own series or anything, right? Just some rich kid's OC?

And even then there are way better fandoms to get into if you want quality porn.

Is this what happens when someone watches Naruto AMV's all day and wants to animate their own show but remembers they only have 5 dollars and a coupon for Subway?

Puffy vulva.

>complain about how bad RWBY is
>yet anime has been the same moeblob, waifu, "EEEEEEHHH!?", low budget trash for the last decade.
Really makes you think..

The interactions where good, the problem is that it was a filler season where 3/4 of the protagonists' plots were just a roundabout story about them starting to travel again, which took away from the actual relevant quarter.

nobody would give a shit if it was made by the japs

Well hot damn, I'll take that hand.

>low budget trash

In comparison to RWBY, even the most trash anime would feel like it's rolling in budget money

Well it was all really relevant, and the point of the season. Everything up until V3's finale was them living their lives with Hope and training to become strong, then they all get killed/defeated by the bad guys who have been planning this shit since before the show even started. They all needed to take a while to recover from that and think about things - they just all just handled it differently.
