You WILL buy this game
You WILL buy this game
no
why do people like destiny? is it just cause of the loot aspect? why wouldn't they just play Diablo 2?
Raids are fun as hell. Better than WoW raids imo in terms of fights.
If the game was non-stop raiding it would be a million times better. I won't be buying it because there juat won't be enough raids dropping.
hey you posted this before
Yeah, you're probably right.
Never. Good persons dont buy western games.
I was, before it was announced as not being released through Steam. I just don't care anymore.
Rasputin did nothing wrong.
The Traveller had it coming.
are raids like a one time thing? so they're kinda like one and done? I've never played destiny so I'm not sure how they work
Why is this a problem?
If the PC version isn't a buggy piece of garbage I'll think about it.
Can't give money to his surrogate daddy, Lord Gaben.
Depends on what you mean by that. The raids are usually how you get the highest level gear so you do them more than once for gear drops. There not there for you to complete once and say "there, I did it."
It's probably boring if you do it with a clan or the same group of people every time but I always raid with pugs and have fun since the people are always different.
Eh Battle Net is minimal, it's to my liking and unobtrusive.
ok that makes sense
always seemed to me that this is a game you'd wanna play with your buddies and not pubs but to each their own.
it does seem like the type of game that will always get new updates and support so maybe in future versions you'll find something you'll like
My friends plan on buying for PS4, and I'm not buying ps+ again, so unless this allows playing between PS4 and PC I'm not buying it.
I will a year or so after release
yeh, they'll most likely release some edition with 3 expacs again waay cheaper
You made this thread already
I might, if I like the PC beta.
No, I most likely won't. Unless all of my friends who didn't even play Detsiny 1 get a brain aneurism and buy D2 on PC.
I'm done with grind games for a while.
>Want to play on PC
>Thinking about upgrading PC soon-ish anyway
>Friends finally showing interest in playing with me for once
>They're seemingly in agreement on PS4
I suppose I should be thankful I'll have people to play with this time. It's not like it killed me to play the first on console.
What that guy totally forgot to mention is that you can only get raid drops once per week.
3*
Once per week per character, yeah. If you have three characters you can get raid drops three times a week.
Three raids a week has always been plenty for me.
toplel m8 I wouldn't even pirate that garbitch
You get one raid with the base game and two for every three expansion passes. They are fun, but also the only fun part about the whole game. They are a fraction of Wow length, and you'll get about 4 hours out of the first time you run one.
I can't speak for Destiny 2 because I missed the beta, but the first game has pretty good gunplay, expanded movement system and interesting perk variety on guns, and despite the rightful complaints about the lore being a clusterfuck tucked away on a website, the general setting and aesthetics remain fascinating.
Also unironically the loot grind. People like seeing their numbers get bigger and avatars more stylish.
Yeah I will becaues I'm a sucker for it.
I'm playing iron banner right now
On the inside it probably kinda did. All that drift aim.
I didn't buy it until the complete edition, and I had a few friends to play it with. The core gameplay is solid, and there was a lot of content for me to go through at that point, so it was pretty enjoyable. After I got to the point of just pure grinding the enjoyment did die down a bit but I had already gotten my money's worth at that point, and then I did some raids and had a fucking blast because they are pretty well done. The PvP is also fairly enjoyable, I would probably play it more if I wasn't incapable at gitting gud at controller aiming.
The story is admittedly a shitheap, but the lore is actually very detailed and interesting, and the overall aesthetic/art direction of the game is fucking fantastic. I still consider it one of the prettier games I've played even though the graphics technically aren't as super crisp and detailed as other games.
So yeah I really don't think it's a bad game. It's got problems for sure and it definitely wasn't worth buying at launch, but after TTK and RoI it's been fairly solid.
i'm gonna give it a go see if its good, if its not i'll just have buyers remorse and groan about it while playing it
>Raids are fun as hell. Better than WoW raids imo in terms of fights.
i only played destiny thorugh to the first XP so my information is dated... i do i think destiny did instances a lot better than WoW but the WoW raids blow they desiny raids (i played out of the water) ZQ, uldar fucking ToC/ToGC... all just amazing experiences.
i will buy destiny 2... probaly day one. the gun play is tight, the exploration was pretty good in the first and it sounds like that totally expanded on it. hopefully the also make it feel more immersive. plus i think there is a chance (albiet small) that given a year or two destiny could reach WoW like capacity with cities and towns to explore. I kind of hope they make it so you can only launch from particular places so you are obligated to go into town etc.
Fuck you, I probably will. This is what I get for having friends.
>ToGC
>amazing experience
>playing with /dg/
>shoot him in the chest pucci
>no one ever doing anything ever
>dick comparing contests
>same cycle of dlc
>the developers are going to charge us for every new raid that comes out
>just one raid
yeah fuck this game
