Get in here outlanders! Morrowing Co-Op/Multiplayer is available thanks to Open MW. You can setup your own server (password protected or not). Players on the server act as a group, though friendly fire is always enabled and can just kill each other. Journal is shared, death results in "jail" penalty. Launcher has a server browser.
There's plenty servers out there to take a look. Find something with low ping and have fun.
Btw - regular mods are available, the only requirement is that everyone needs the same files. It's also super easy to install.

>Find something with low ping and have fun.
I'd rather not join a random public server. If you want a FOTM going, Sup Forums's always made their own servers for that.
Charles Foster
surely this is a meme and not fo reals.
Jeremiah Gray
it's a fully playable meme, the OpenMW guys really did it. Play before the Russians flood all the servers
Ryan Adams
those crazy fucking modders.
Robert Hall
It's legit
Oliver Robinson
bump for interest.
Wyatt Robinson
Sup Forums server when? Could be amazing.
Hunter Johnson
Should I be concerned about my character level? I don't currently have anyone at a normal level, only a noob file and a couple end game files where I'm OP.
Cameron Rogers
needs someone with stable connection and not a 400ping argonian, anyone up for the job?
Imagine roleplaying the great house conspiracies and wars.
Nicholas Perez
If you can complete the entire game in co-op that shit would be hella cool.
Brody Robinson
I'm working on it with a couple bros. One of which has never played. Told him to go get the dwemer puzzle box. 45 minutes later hes lost in the side of the mountain complaining he can't find it. I broke and told him it was literally 10 feet from the door at the beginning.
David Hernandez
When you join a server you type your character's name - if it doesn't exist you go straight to character creation so you can't use your regular saves for this. Then all the character data is saved on the server side.
You can. There might be some minor quest related bugs but the server owner has access to console (you can set that up for others iirc) so you can always unstuck people etc. Everything should work just like in vanilla
Angel Jackson
>mfw the elder scrolls have foretold this
Logan Wood
You apparently can. People at least reported having smashed Dagoth Ur's face in. Some other cool things were people using the ability to distract NPCs to make them face away from areas and pull off things like heists.
Cooper Cox
Trainwiz is here. Thread became legit. Any roleplay servers you know of?
Jackson Parker
The only problem is apparently a lot of the quests get fucky if you start them and then go do something else instead or something. Seems perfectly doable though.
Christian Perry
No. The only server I was on was the dev testing server. If you guys want to pull this off, you need your own server, like what was done with Sup Forumslancer. Mind you, going over like, 10 players will probably cause problems.
Aaron Sullivan
You're a bit late faggots. Infinity Sup Forums already has a server up for over four days.
Henry Bell
link/name/password?
Jack Wright
>spoonfeeding You can easily find it yourself.
Ryan White
And?
Chase Hughes
how do I enable to console in the config? My idiot friends keep getting stuck
William Gonzalez
remember to edit the config file in My Documents and not the one in game folder
Alexander Martin
>openMW what mod is that? I only played vanilla Morrowind a long ago and want to play it again, should I use it?
Aaron Morales
Morrowind? Fuck off, the combat sucks ass. Call me when they do a co-op mod for Skyrim.
How was the mad scramble to get all the unique items?
Nathaniel Evans
> If a player has joined thieves guild, then I’ll also be included in thieves guild. If a person is an archmage of the mages guild, then everyone is an archmage. If someone did a quest, I’ll have his journal entries in my book. I open up my journal and see that a player has started the fighters guild rat quest, killed the rats, got the 100 gold reward, but not yet reported to Eydis Fire-Eye.
Seems like this would be more fun playing with a few friends at the same time, like a D&D campaign, rather than a MMO type deal.
Logan Turner
Exactly what it's made for but both options are open.
Ian Moore
Do mods work with this? A magica regen mod is a must if you dont want to hold up your buddies resting every three seconds.
Jeremiah Reed
>not abusing alchemy to make potions of infinite magicka
