I pre-ordered it because I got stuck on the Destiny 1 treadmill.

To be honest the beta didn't give me hope. It seems like Bungie's solutions to the criticisms of the first game was to just cut those features out entirely. Less sniping is good, but completely changing character loadouts just to achieve it feels like throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

What's the problems with this game that people are having?

They were pitched an MMO/Shooter hybrid with a good story and got a Borderlands reskin with a story that only exists on a wiki.

I thought it was a fun borderlands clone (that was actually better) but it's DLC practices are among the shittiest in the business.

You have to find the aesthetic cool. You have to be comfortable with the fact that there are features that exist only to incentivise you to buy platinum, because it's F2P. You have to find the core gamplay and the overall grind enjoyable.

Well, each planet only has four resources. Common, uncommon, research, and rare.

As for most Warframe components, those are all just farmed from whatever boss drops those parts.

Now, when it comes to Prime parts, that's where the fuckery comes in and there's not much I can tell you.

I only buy these games to get drunk and do raids with friends. Yes that is worth $60 to me. I hate myself for it

Drops are actually much more consistent with relics. Once you've farmed enough traces to get a radiant relic, you can just share a key with 3 other people who have one and at the end of the mission you get 4 different drops (one for each key) and everybody just takes what they wanted from the drop table. Pretty nice compared to just running the same void missions over and over hoping this whatever you need drops this one time.
