Nah but really, jumpscared are to horror what tickles are to comedy.

It's also "Your choices totally matter", even though 90% of them don't. The majority of characters fates are decided on your performance in QTE's and "Don't Move" of the very last chapter and they can't die until then.

The characters can't die until a certain point for each one. Only two of them are required to make it to the last chapter, and they're the worst characters.

To be honest the game isn't scary, there's a few jumpers in there sure, but that sorta what the game is going for.

Cheesy old movie type of deal, you know? Just enjoy it for what it is because its honestly pretty fun.

I bought this on a whim, played it for an hour, then sold it again.

I really enjoyed this game. I'd gone in without any spoilers, and I was kept guessing awhile about who or what the bad guys were. Between the Masked Psycho, Masked Flamethrower, Indian Runes, and glimpses of Wendigos along with all the events around hurting animals, I was 99% sure that the villain was some Native American cult trying to drive the white man off the mountain.
