Okami is a guilty pleasure, because despite being easy as piss at least it got the presentation and the controls right.

But SotC's meme "there's nothing in the world haha" design can go fuck itself. It would actually be halfway decent if it's a boss rush game.

THIS!!! It was sooo annoying having to wander around for like 50 minutes looking for where each boss was! They should have put in like a radar or something to make it easier to find them. Like the arrow in Crazy Taxi.

As much as I like some of Kamiya's games it's incredibly clear that he had absolutely no idea what he was doing trying to make a huge 3D Zelda.
Almost 80% or more of the """"""""""puzzles""""""""" are explained to you in BIG BOLD RED TEXT and explicit detail before you even get to try them.

A lot of the main quest content consists of blatant filler equal to the worst parts of the post Ocarina Zelda games.

Conversations are fucking endless, they seriously take forever. Text comes up slow and characters have too much to say.

Issun is the most annoying, most talktative, shittiest companion character in a Zelda game yet. I'd rather have 2 of Fi than him.

But I played it, my man, and I hated how hard you had to swing the controller to attack.
I just wish it was more sensitive so I could play it for hours without getting my wrist sore. And this is coming from someone who loves Okami.
The only good thing about the Wii release is that drawing on the screen got better.

Dialouges are a bit long and characters talk much, but it's mostly charming what they have to say
I don't see a problem with that. He is also a hand.
The big bold red text also appears in Zelda, and the puzzles are easy in them too. I'd say Kamiya nailed that part, if he wanted to make a Zelda clone.

I was hyped as fuck for it back in the day when it first came out. Was disappointed by all the reading. Seriously, watch a walkthrough and skip through it and 90% of the time you're going to land on some text bubble conversation. Loved the gameplay and art style though. I wish they had another chance to do it right.
